What a great company to have worked with. The entire staff, from David, to the crew, to billing, was the best we have contracted with in a long time. As others have posted, David was prompt in responding from the moment we reached out to the end of the project. Every question was answered and he worked "with" us. The efficiency, organization, and knowledge of all had our project completed in a little over 6 days. Ninety feet of linear wall was removed and replaced professionally; the water flow issues around our yard were addressed and remedied; seed and straw followed--all of which were originally proposed to take 2-3 weeks. (This was all a "redo" of a poor landscaping experience in our home of one year.). The camaraderie of the crew was on display in their exchanges and their ability to work efficiently together. We cannot say enough about the professionalism, work ethic, and finished product of King Maple! We highly recommend them and will reach out to them for any future needs we might have.

As with most small businesses, There were some hiccups along the way concerning a new payment system. The owner was quick to rectify Issues that occurred a couple of times due to new/different personnel. He worked with the neighborhood to move us from an early morning mowing (When the grass had a tendency to clump) to a later start in 2026. Very reasonable pricing.

We needed some lawn regrading and small retaining walls installed after having our driveway replaced. David and his team were able to do all the work in one day and with excellent quality. From our initial consult to the job completion, everyone at King Maple was professional, knowledgeable, and provided great value for the results. I highly recommend!

David and his team did a great job with out paver patio. Classic undersell, over deliver. He got started sooner than he said he would and finished it faster. It looks great. He was very communicative and kept us up to speed on what was going on. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for hardscaping services.

The are great to work with. The work they did was done quickly and looks great. Was hired to grade the "lawn" away from the house. Unfortunately though we had work done to grade water away from the house but instead of grading the "yard" they graded next to the house but created a pooling area where the old landscape was without making it capable of draining away. Wish they could have caught that and fixed at the time. Had the tools and supplies at the time. Now will need to come back to fix that which should have been done the same day. **Want to add I addressed this with them and they came right away, fixed it and again looks great. Also did some extra work we wanted. David was a pleasure to work with!

Just did our second project with King Maple (first review follows). Removed all sod from our backyard to prepare for a new garden and had them install a new patio and stone path. Great job on both elements of this project. Team continued to be prompt, professional and easy to work with. Very happy with the results and services.

Just had a great experience with King Maple. David and his team installed steps and a flagstone path. They did an excellent job integrating it with an existing path and it looks absolutely fantastic. The team arrived promptly, cleaned up all their debris and were professional and friendly throughout.

Javier and his crew came and rocked this job. They worked quickly and efficiently. We recently moved into a house with a yard that was overgrown. They trimmed and cut and removed all sorts of dead branches and debris. They did an amazing job. I barely recognize our yard! I would highly recommend them!!!

A crew of four from King Maple arrived at 8am and cleared the remains of five tree canopies that I had had cut down earlier in the summer. They also removed a dense infestation of tree of heaven from my side yard. They did this in a remarkable six hours. I am completely pleased and relieved to have the work done. The crew was very thorough and I am happy to have a usable back yard again. I will definitely hire them for more work in the future.

King Maple Landscaping is a great company to work with. We hired them to do a fair amount of landscaping around our house and they did a fantastic job. They have excellent communication and were very quick to respond to my request for quote and were working onsite shortly after. David and his crew did an amazing job. King Maple Landscaping LLC was amazing for my patio job. They were the 1st to respond to my request on Thumbtack and prompt in coming out to my property and giving me a fair estimate. The patio looks great and it was completed within days! I have nothing but great things to say about King Maple Landscaping LLC and I am sure I will use them again in the future and will recommend them to others as well!!

Highly recommend! King Maple did a big hardscaping job for me this summer - 2 pathways, a patio and a retaining wall. I got several quotes and their's was the best. Really easy process to get the estimate and book the work. Great communication - they always get back to you the same day and checked in with me several times throughout the job to make sure I was happy with the work and that it was what I expected. The completed work is beautifully done and great quality. They will literally go the extra mile for their clients -- There was an issue with the materials supplier one day - the delivery didn't arrive as expected and the King Maple staff drove for 3 hours round trip to pick up the materials themselves! They were still on site with the materials by 08:30am. Great company, great crew and great results.

I've worked with King Maple a few times now for trimming of bushes and MASSIVE leaf clean up. In every instance they've been professional, communicative, and on time. I really appreciate that a foreman visits for every job, discusses the project before work begins, and goes over the work upon completion to ensure you're satisfied. Great work and price! Hire these guys!

When the city of Madison ended leaf collection due to snow, we were left with an enormous amount of leaves taking up half our driveway. No way could we go through a Madison winter with all those leaves there. King Maple came with 4 men and 4 trucks and took care of our problem efficiently. They were hard working and thorough, came when they said, prompt with messaging and returned our tarp the next day which they had needed to cover the leaves that overflowed one of their trucks. They were wonderful to work with.

Absolutely love the work done on our landscaping project! The communication was incredible, they showed up when they said they would and did the work exactly as planned except even better. Highly recommend the company!! Thanks David!

I had a concrete pad installed alongside the garage and another one poured by my basement patio door. I needed black dirt brought in to fill around the concrete and to landscape the yard where the skid steer drove moved about. King Maple Landscaping scheduled the work with a short lead-time and arrived at the agreed upon time. They were well staffed crew and worked quickly and efficiently. They filled in the needed areas and leveled out the yard. They also seeded and straw mat covered the exposed dirt. The end result was an excellent landscaping job with the neighbors commenting on the quality and speed of the completed project. I would recommend this company for your landscaping needs.

Our yard upkeep had gotten away from us this past year or so due some run-of-the-mill life stresses (and lack of motivation!). We decided to treat ourselves to a professional yard clean up. King Maple gave us a timely quote and service. They did a great job and now when we look outside, we feel relaxed instead of overwhelmed! :)

I can not say enough about KING MAPLE Landscaping!!! When I took possession of this house back in August of 24 the landscape was a mess and in need of desperate love....David and his crew came out and removed several dead trees, shrubs, debris and old mulch. They then planted five new trees and over 23 new shrubs, bushes, flowers and replaced the mulch as well as putting down stones in the back yard...It was a two day process and the results are stunning! I can not wait till next spring to see the foliage from these different crabapple trees (purple, white and pink) and the flowers these bushes/shrubs will produce!
The crew worked non stop and it was hot and miserable outside...Not one complaint from them and they then trimmed all the existing trees and bushes that didn't have to get replaced. They put down new seed for the grass areas and made all new beds with liners, borders and weed tarp and filled them with new mulch along the front sides and back....Whew! And to top it all off they then cleaned up the yard, the street and the sidewalk when they were finished!!!
HIGHLY recommend them over anyone else in Dane county....

David and his crew did an amazing job on my yard. My wife and I can truly enjoy our new space. We highly recommend them and we will definitely be using them in the future.

On October 31, 2025, a team of garden workers from King Maple Landscaping arrived promptly at our home to do a fall clean-up. Their names are Javier, Marcus, Luis and Eddie. They worked diligently for about four hours to cut back our perennials and remove this year’s annuals. They also removed all leaves from our porch, patio and lawn and collected them for disposal. They also collected sticks and other end-of-the-year debris. They hauled away all the debris, leaving our garden beds and lawn looking as good as we’ve ever seen them! I would very highly recommend King Maple Landscaping for all your garden needs. We will have them back in the spring to do a spring clean-up, mulching and maybe transplant some old plants and plant new purchases. They did all this work for a very reasonable price. And we have a very large yard with about ten different garden beds. It’s so nice to look out at our property and see it looking so lovely and we didn’t have to do all that work! Check them out…you won’t be disappointed. I’m recommending them to many of our friends.
