Could not be happier with our experience using Heart Rock Landscaping! During the planning process, Aaron was great to work with, and was very knowledgeable on design ideas. He was quick to respond to my emails and very patient with my numerous questions and requests. The project was completed in a timely manner as we were told it would be, and we felt the team was extremely hard working and paid great attention to detail throughout the process. Even after the project was completed, Aaron followed up and replaced two of our plants that weren’t thriving like the rest. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality landscape work! Within the past 2 years, I've had a triple bypass, emergency colon surgery and 2 back surgeries, the most recent being less than 2 months ago. We were moving and elected to have the move done professionally. College Hunks, Madison Wisconsin, provided anything but a "professional" service. Original move date and contract was for Monday, July 29th. The Friday before, received a call from the local owner telling us of some "conflict" and wouldn't be able to provide the move until the 30th! (Later found out, they had a HUGE move with a semi truck for our original move date!) Received confirmation for the 30th for an 8 to 9 'o clock start time. They didn't show until a bit after 10:30! I was at the destination house and didn't see the actual truck loading. When they finally got to the new location, they got to work. However, after a bit I noted that the two dollies (a regular 2-wheel dolly and an appliance dolly) looked just like the ones I own. Sure enough; they didn't even bring dollies for the move and used mine! NOT very professional, IMHO! Actually, they never even asked to use them!

By the time they were done, I noticed that our 55" flat panel TV was sitting very "wonky" on the stand. I indicated that to the lead worker and he tried bending the stand to make it stand up straight. Only later did I notice that the whole TV is now sitting lower on one side than the other.

When they brought in an apartment sized fridge, they had one of the legs busted on it and is now wobbly.

Then, it appeared that they had misplaced the proper screws to re-attach the mirror on the dresser. One of them apparently tried "other" screws they had in the truck. They decided none of them would work. I said I'd find something myself to make it work. Too late! They used long drywall screws and ran them from the back clear through the front frame. Twice! In fact, they had left one of them screwed straight through and sticking out before they hid the mirror behind the dresser! Had I not noticed, it would surely have ended up with a nasty slash to my hand!

There is also a cabinet table saw, which is now useless! They apparently lost some of the hardware for the crank handle used to raise and lower the blade!

This is in addition to a floor lamp, which they busted the weighted base on, rendering it useless and went back with them as junk!

If you're in need of a professional moving service in the Madison, WI area, stay AWAY from College Hunks! Among other things, don't be fooled by the name, either. Of the 4 "movers" they sent, not a single one of them is in school!

Attempts to call for some type of reimbursement has been nothing short of a huge joke! You can NOT get a hold of anyone at the local level and the main contact number does nothing to help! They will NOT give you local contact info, though they say they're letting them know about the issues. Nobody from the local office has contacted me and it's now been a week since I've tried to get some answers. BEWARE!!!

I have a great experience using Hunks from start to finish. When I first booked my appointment, the customer service rep was very helpful. I received a reminder email 24 hrs before my appointment and I received a call from the driver 30mins before they came to pick up my refrigerator. The gentleman that picked it up was very nice. Recommend this company.

Jerrell and Gavin were friendly and efficient in removing a hideaway sleeper/sofa and other items from our home. We definitely recommend College Hunks. The service was easy to book, they followed up and arrived on-time.

We used College Hunks for packing, moving and junk removal. It was a short distance, but a lot of stuff. Drew, James and Casey had a very long day, but they were absolutely up beat, professional and amazing. Awesome customer service from Scarlett on the phone and packing with Drew, to the three "Hunks" that moved us the next day. Competing with two other move ins and only one elevator to the fifth floor should have tried their patience but they never showed any ire over issues others created. One person on our floor commented that our movers were nicer and friendlier than all the others. They were so fast and efficient, went out of their way to be helpful and made a stressful day fun. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. Don't hesitate to get the best--College Hunks.

Drew and Shane helped move items into an assisted living home for my mother in law. They were ahead of schedule which was great and the move was very smooth. They were more than willing to rearrange the room until I was happy with it. We have used this company before and we remembered Drew. So nice to have such professional, reliable help when needed - they deserve 6 stars but 5 will have to do. Moving is stressful and expensive but we know we can count on this service.

College Hunks helped us yet a second time clear out even more stuff from our pole barn. They kept me informed of their schedule, just as they did the first time. Once they arrived, the team [Rael (sp?) and Noel] were friendly, efficient, helpful, and really easy to deal with.

College Hunks will donate as much as possible to Habitat for Humanity (we had a lot of building materials), which is great! They also take items to recycling, so as little as possible ends up in the landfill.

I would use them again!

Max, Kaylene and George were hard working and polite movers. They worked for 11 and half hours to help us move without any break, that's some work ethics. Their manager, Herman is another fantastic guy who came to our home and gave us a free estimate that was accurate and he kept touch until the move.

The only reason I am happy with giving one star is because the movers themselves were very kind.
I have a dispute out with the BBB for this company though.
When I moved into my apartment, I hired Two Men and a Truck. Loading, Travel, and Unloading took them only 7 hours.
Two Men and a Truck was Not available for my move out. So I hired College Hunks based off their great google reviews.
We did not accumulate more furniture or stuff in the less than a year between moves. We had a two bedroom, 1200 SQ foot apt, with a little more furniture than average.
The Hunks sent 3 men. They had two main points of entry with a parking lot, street parking, elevator, and stairs at their disposal.
Loading the truck took them EIGHT HOURS. I frequently saw them on their phones or didn't see them at all. At one point I only saw one guy moving.
The two hour drive to our new place took them nearly three hours.
Granted, they need breaks. I get that. But considering our past experience with a moving company, this was unacceptable. It took them an hour longer just to load what took the other company the entire move.
What took EIGHT HOURS? Especially since the unload took them less than two hours to do.
Less. Than. Two.
By the time everything was done, I was charged for 12.5 hours which is way over what I had expected.
When I called to complain, I was told that there was nothing that could be done, by the owner of this franchise location.
When I called corporate I was told that no one oversees the individual owners and that I was put of luck.
On top of that, one of my bookshelves was broken and two of my dining room chairs were broken. Because I got no help the several times I called prior, I went to the BBB. They are NOT accredited, by the way.
I have yet to see a response to my dispute but I do have to say, lesson learned.

Hired them because I saw their signs all over town and...quite frankly...the name is memorable and had me curious lol. The two young men that arrives were very friendly, efficient, professional, etc, etc...basically everything you want out of movers. I only hired them to haul my stuff down 2 flights of stairs into a rental truck (I was moving out of their range), but I rented a truck that was too small. Was so pleased with them I ended up hiring them a second day. I didn't quote any other companies, but their cost seemed reasonable to me AND for every hour they work they donate a meal via Feeding America. So, I got two nice gentleman to move things I am physically unable to move and a worthy charity got 4 meals donated from my 2 hires. Very pleased and I definitely recommend. Kudos guys, keep up the good work!...and, being blunt and somewhat vulgar...they were hunks to me hahahaha

Jeremiah and Javier were fantastic. They wrapped all the furniture quickly and efficiently. We really appreciated how hard they worked. My parents are downsizing and relocating to another area. These 2 HUNKS treated them with respect and eased their stress on the move. I will be recommending them to everyone in Madison!!!

Hiring College Hunks to help us remove unneeded furniture from an Assisted Living apartment was our best decision. The guys were on time, so friendly and just got the job done. We were so pleased!

This is the second move we have used College Hunks for. Could not be more impressed with their performance, attitudes, and they were so gentle with all of our items! We had a few pieces of tricky furniture and small staircases but they handled it like pros! 10/10 highly recommend!

They helped me unpack into a new apartment and the second floor. They were running late that afternoon but kept me up-to-date with the time and their schedule. After they arrived they got the job done far quicker than I expected. They were in and out under an hour. They were courteous to me and my possessions. I'd recommend them to friends and family.

The guys that came were cool, friendly, professional and just plain pleasant. They helped moved my stuff from my apartment to my trailer and they were so efficient and professional. They got everything in the space that I needed it too. They were just a pleasure to work with and they were very careful with my items. I am bad with names but the two guys to help my packed my truck trailer in Sun Prairie, thank you guys for making my move a breeze. Awesome A+++++ service.

This was actually our second experience with College Hunks. They arrived within the window given, and right in time based on the call when they were 30 minutes out. They were able to give me an accurate estimate very quickly, and once accepted, completed the job in a very efficient manner. I would definitely recommend them and will also be calling them again myself in the future enthusiasm I am in need of their services.

Booked a last minute pick-up this week. It was very easy to schedule and Max and Noel were very kind and professional! It took less than 30 minutes and the space looks awesome, I am so grateful! Great experience, very upfront and definitely would use them again.

Crew of 3 moved 2 bedrooms, living & family rooms, garage half full of boxes. Roughly 150 miles. On time & went right to work. Good guys, careful with with our stuff. Done in half a day.

Fair price for the time and effort.

Dawson and Dustin came to move my belongings. They worked very hard and never took a break. Very professional and took great care of my belongings. Would hire them again in a heartbeat. Prices were much lower then others I had checked with. Very happy with their service!

Very happy with my experience. I chose these guys because I liked their reviews (their competitor's reviews seemed suspicious) and also because they actually give a basic idea of their cost structure on their website. They arrived within the service window I was given, they were friendly, and they assessed my junk (a garage full of renovation trash, some of it very heavy) and gave me an estimate on the spot. It only took them 8 minutes to empty a garage filled with junk that I'd been staring at for over a year. And the price was better than I expected, too.

Great service and good price! I booked them the night before, they came at the beginning of the window I selected which is great and were very professional. Would recommend them if you are looking for junk removal!
