Do not use this company to move unless you want an amateur moving company that could care less about moving your person property carefully. We had the worst experience with this company. When we first made the appointment, we were quoted that it would take 3 hours since we were moving from a 2 bedroom condo to a house that is roughly .5 miles down the road. Every thing was preboxed so it just had to be moved. This service took over 8 hours, and they showed up an hour late! Not only did it take way longer than in needed to, but the drivers showed up without any tools when we told them specifically that they needed to disassemble items when we booked the move. This caused them to try to force things through the hallway and scratch and gauge many of our items! We put all the faith in these movers and this tainted our experience.

So, since most of our items were damaged, we tried to get a hold of the company to file a claim. This was nearly impossible. We tried to contact the manager multiple times, and he would make us empty promises. He told us that our money for the boxes that we ordered would be refunded (which they never were), and he would personally come look at the damages, but when we made an appointment, he missed that with out letting us know. Finally after jumping through multiple hoops, he came to our place and told us how bad of a job his crew did (this was like a month after we first contacted the company about damage).

Then after a month of not hearing from this company again, we went on what felt like a wild goose chase to see what was going to happen. Well finally after 3 months, they sent us a check that would not even cover to cost to get our damaged items fixed.

All in all, do not use this company because they do not care. They show up late, do an amateur job, and then they will ghost you and hope you just forget about it. I will never use this company again, and I will tell everyone I know that is looking for a moving company to stay away from this business.

Hunter & Gabe were both fast working, yet pleasant and respectful of our furnishings! They did a fantastic job, did not waste time and were careful with not only the furnishings but the floor and walls as well :) I am requesting them for the return trip!
2 days later Hunter & Leo came back and not only moved everything back to where it had been but also brought in some VERY heavy furniture from the garage. They were quick and efficient as well as handled everything with care :) I am very impressed, if we have the need again I will certainly call the College Hunks again!

I recently had College Hunks (funny name) come by for a small pickup request. I was particularly impressed with how quickly I was able to schedule - the very next morning (I called in the afternoon the day before). In some cases, they can accommodate day-off requests! The two guys who came by were cordial, polite and extremely respectful. I'd absolutely recommend this service to anyone!

I called College Hunks for my move which included junk removal and moving furniture and boxes to storage. They were the best price d had good reviews which is why I selected them.

They called as they were a half hour away so communication was great. I also received reminders etc. they were fast, efficient, courteous and did an amazing job! We had Herman and Levi come today to remove furniture, appliances, bikes, and misalanius items. They went above the call of duty. Herman and Levi were personable and caring and so respectful of our home. They even picked up some things from the floor and after checking with me walked over and threw it away. These men worked so well together and what we thought of as an impossible job they seemed to do it with ease. I highly recommend College Hunks. Thank you and God bless. (We will be using them again)

It was easy to set up an appointment, and they had same day options if needed. Herman and Tom were friendly and efficient. $189 for a mattress and a mattress topper. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Just a disclaimer, I've never used this moving service, but I have witnessed them moving someone in. During the storm that hit yesterday, through the wind, rain, and hail, I watched two guys efficiently move things into a neighbor's place without an issue. They were doing their best to keep things dry. Just wanted to say, they rock it from an outside view!

They were amazing! Showed up when they said they would. They carried my old mattress, box spring, bed frame and two big rolls of foam out of my condo. Then they helped me set up the new frame, put a mattress cover on the new mattress and set everything up in the bed room. All for the low, low price of $189. I would definitely recommend their services to everyone!

Herman and Ben were amazing for our move. They packed up two entire one-bedroom apartments into a 15 ft uhaul and a trailer. They were efficient, careful of the larger furniture, and both had a great attitude all day.

The moving guys were nice. There was damage to one of our new dressers (shown below). The manager, Herman, reached out to me and requested I send photos which I did. However after my payment went though he completely ghosted me ignoring my numerous emails and texts and had no resolution to the damage that was done. Poor customer service for the amount we paid.

Hired college hunks for a basement clean out. Lots of really old, dirty, heavy stuff and a long driveway to the dumpster on the street. The hunks were awesome. They got right to work. Never complained in spite of the humidity. Great job. I'd highly recommend and hire them again if needed.

Made appointment at 9am Saturday morning, these folks had the job wrapped up by Saturday afternoon, 3:30….good communication, friendly team….I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Booking was super easy and I was able to pick a slot for the next morning. I received a text to provide a list of what I was asking to haul. The next morning I got a call when my window started telling me they'd be here in 30 min. The team was very friendly; they showed up when they told me, quickly hauled everything, and the price was very reasonable. Next time I need hauling, I'll book these guys for sure!

What a disaster moving with college hunks . Damaged walls , flooring, ceiling, appliance.
If it isn't junk it will be when they move it .
Filed a claim got no response.
Beware at your own expense

Had the worst moving experience ever with this company, which is unfortunate as I had used them twice already prior to this experience and both those crews were excellent. Was quoted 3 guys for a 2-4 hour time length for a move. Told them we had the apartment to move from and one more stop for some storage stuff and quoted everything included in both pick ups when setting up the move was told no problem. Initially 2 guys showed up, and it took them 3.5 hours just to load up the truck from the first stop, not even filling up or with any organization so things were broken when they arrived.

When we arrived at the storage spot we were told well we have no more room so we will have to go unload at the new place and then come back, which would extend the time quite a bit. They did manage to call in another truck and two more guys, but this caused an extra hour to be added to the bill, also I got to pay for 4 movers an hour instead of 3 so that was fun.

After everything was unloaded at the destination a max 4 hour move turned into almost 8 and I was handed an invoice for close to $1,200 over what I was quoted as max. When I calculated out the two man rate for that time and then the 4 man rate for the second half it equaled what I thought at the original max quote. As the one lead worker was correcting his mistake, one of his team member mumbled something upset walking out of my home, as I assumed because he believed his tip would be smaller. Mind you as they are writing the invoice my boyfriend and I are standing in the kitchen with the garage door open as I can hear the crew members in my garage discussing what kind of tip they think we will be leaving, when in reality they were lucky they got one.

I ended up going back to my old apartment to verify things were all taken and I found items sitting outside the apartment complex for anyone to grab and items in the hallway by the elevators. Also a box with over $1,000 worth of hats went missing during the move. When we filed this complaint the manager called me saying “well the guys said the truck was empty” so if they made it on the truck but not into my home this tells me someone in charge of that box got some pretty nice merchandise. That was it no reimbursement, nothing not even an apology.
