If you are looking for a mold mitigation company, SERVPRO does a decent job (reason for 2 stars). If you are looking for a general contractor to bring your home back to normal after any sort of damage, beware. We started working with SERVPRO on 07/12/24 due to a shower leak that caused mold and within two weeks the mold was mitigated. If you file an insurance claim, your insurance company will put SERVPRO on the payee line, along with you and your mortgage company. This SERVPRO location has refused to endorse the check cut by my insurance company. Due to having holes in my kitchen, laundry room, and first floor bathroom for over three months, I called a drywaller and had the holes fixed within one week; but since SERVPRO refused to endorse the insurance check, I have no access to those funds. I have had to pay out of my pocket to do the job SERVPRO should have done months ago. I had to act as the GC and in doing so, I have the same legal right to the funds as SERVPRO but they hold you hostage and refuse to endorse the check. Their contract to start work says they will give you line item pricing...they don't unless you ask them multiple times. At one point we received a phone call from the GC saying he just got the design for the tile in the bathroom from 21st Century Tile, but we received the same e-mail he did 10 days prior (we were all listed as recipients in the e-mail); this leads me to believe they may be embellishing other facts of the remodel process such as timeline and product availability. All of our tile was picked out on 10/04 and is in stock at the tile shop yet no work has been done. The carpenter who framed our shower showed up to our home with no idea what he was supposed to do; he was frustrated and said this is the last job he is doing with SERVEPRO. The GC would just show up to our house with no phone call and my wife works from home, but she has to work and cannot step away from her office very often. I have attached photos of how our home was left for three and a half months. This has been an absolute nightmare. I will update this review and post pictures when the project is completed. I realize this review is not a very good one, but all the employees of SERVEPRO have been very nice and polite, but the performance is a two star at best. During my last phone call with SERVPRO I was told hunting season has delayed the repair process, so if you use them just know that your quality of life takes a back seat to their employees hunting.

UPDATE: It is 2/4/25 and the shower still leaks, they damaged our cabinets. And the heated floor still doesn’t work. Do not work with Brad Jaeger, he won’t call you back, says he will come out and not show up. This has been a nightmare. More photos added.

UPDATE: It is now March 17th. I just tried to have Servepro endorse two checks written by my insurance company ($17,000 total) and they are still holding my money hostage. They refuse to sign checks issued in December and February, and I couldn’t hire anyone else if I wanted to because I can’t access the money. Brad Jager lied and told me to come by any time this week to have the checks sign. Brad Cowel (owner) is incompetent because there is no designate agent allowed to endorse a check other than him and he was a never there. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Had black mold in our walls, ceiling from a common area caused by a busted water pipe within our condominium complex. SERVPRO came out promptly, they explained everything what actions to take and what to expect while working directly with our insurance company. Jose, Robinson, Cuco, James did a phenomenal job mitigaring the black mold from our area. You guys ROCK! The wife and and I are very happy that we chose SERVPRO to be the partner of choice through this mess. Thank you!

I am a master carpenter who has personally designed and remodeled this home with care and expertise. Servpro’s workmanship was not only unacceptable — it was negligent, unsafe, and may have gone unnoticed by someone without my level of expertise. This company seems to rely on customers not knowing better, doing substandard work and hoping no one calls them out.

Servpro was hired for mitigation work after ice damming. What should have been a simple job turned into six months of chaos, property damage, health risks, and financial loss. Their owner (Brad) is the most arrogant, unprofessional person we’ve ever met: no accountability, no empathy, no resolution.

We spent weeks begging them just to remove their equipment — they ignored us, it failed, and caused massive new water damage. Instead of taking accountability or remedying their disaster in any way, the owner (Brad) is now attempting to put a lien on our home — despite never providing a valid contract or itemized invoices as required by Wisconsin law (a trend we are seeing in other reviews of this company). He is someone on a power trip with a big ego who doesn't like his company being called out on his unprofessional and subpar work. We have legal counsel involved and formal documentation showing violations of Wisconsin’s Home Improvement Practices Act and deceptive business practices.

This is by far the most dishonest, incompetent, and predatory company we have ever dealt with. Their negligence flooded our home, destroyed our hardwood floors, created asbestos abatement hazards, and left us living in chaos for months.

This company preys on people at their most vulnerable. If you value your home, your money, and your sanity — do NOT hire Servpro of Milwaukee North (Menominee Falls). I seriously feel sick to my stomach when I see their trucks show up at people's homes.

Teresa & Pedro cleaned our unfinished basement after some flooding. They did a great job, very personable, left the area where they took out drywall clean. Bryan was helpful with inspection & scheduling. We recommend!

We had demolition done in our basement. Our team of Jon, Donovan, Mikhai and Teresa did a great job from top to bottom. Scheduling the job, removing furniture, and the demolition itself were all done with, care, professionalism and efficiency. They were also very kind and understanding of our needs. We would not hesitate to use them again.

We were 215 miles away on vacation when our friend who looked over our pet & house saw we had a flooded basement after having nearly 6" of rain Thursday night. The whole basement, which is about 1500 Sq. feet, had water on the carpet. We got home Saturday PM, and had contacted ServPro on the way back. They assembled a team, and Teresa, Cuco, & Gabe were here at 5pm. They moved everything that needed to be moved, and had got all the water sucked out by 8pm with their equipment. They left 16 blowers going and a large air filter/dehumidifier going. The project Manager, Rob Chessman, came on Monday Morning, checked everything, including a tool. That measure through & behind walls and told us the good news that our walls were saved. He was very thorough and made sure everything is taken care of. Then his team of Jose & Cuco came and ripped out all the carpet in 1 day, which was pretty surprising for the amount we had! Our house immediately smelled better once that was out, and they sanitized & deordorized the floor. The 16 blowers stayed until Wed., everything was dry & they came and picked up their equipment. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ServPro if anyone has to go through the unfortunate event of a flood. They were quick, thorough, informative, and made sure to take care of the problem which was so beneficial in a already stressful situation. We are so very pleased with the reconstruction work done by Team Cowell with ServPro Milwaukee North! I really can't say enough good things about them. What started out as "just" flood damage and a mold situation, became an unusual situation of sloppy firewalls being installed in our mid '70s-built condo basement by a different company who really made a mess of things. We'd been very happy with ServPro's water damage and mold remediation services, so we did not hesitate to bring them back in to correct the poor job of the other company and bring our finished basement back. Wow, are we glad that we did!

Top notch people and true professionals, including Avi, our project manager, and all three of our crew members - Shane, Darren, and Jacob. It is REALLY difficult to find good contractors, and these guys are simply the best! On-time, courteous, friendly, communicative, and take great pride in their work. Not only did they bring our basement back, but it's way better than it was! It's too bad they only do disaster restoration, because I would love to bring them back for other "regular" jobs! They took our ongoing, very stressful and unusual situation, and made it all better. After so many negative experiences with other contractors, they kind of restored my faith in humanity. We had our carpets cleaned today! Wow! What a difference. They look amazing and have new life in them! The service was awesome! Darren and Ron were fabulous. I got to know Darren more because he was here several more days than Ron. His expertise was phenomenal. But also he was a delight to have in our home. He is kind, dedicated, and trustworthy. Also, the team that moved all the furniture and did the remediation were so skilled. One gentleman, the lead of the team, possessed remediation knowledge well beyond his years. I wholeheartedly recommend ServPro. I hold a special place for Juan, our project manager. Amazing man, father (I was fortunate to hear about his son), and just really great person. Can’t recommend him enough. Really! These men all deserve a huge raise and some paid time off, please.

On Monday, May 12th, the crew from SERVPRO (Donovan, Ariel, Teresa and Rosalia) did a fantastic job of mold remediation (caused by water damage from shingles blown off a second story dormer) in a spare bedroom. They were extremely hard working and professional. I would recommend this team to anyone. Thanks, John

My 92 year old mother had significant damage to her bathroom due to a long standing leak, undetected for months. We called ServPro of Milwaukee North (Menomonee Falls Office) to help.
The Mitigation/Removal Team and the Estimator, who worked with us the month of July, were wonderful.
However, the Rebuild/Restoration project manager was unbelievably difficult to work with. From the very 1st meeting on August 1st to the last day of work on February 13th, Brad’s lack of communication and twisting of words to justify his actions or lack there of, was continuous. In early August, Brad promised our mom a schedule of all the work to be done, that was never provided. In early November, he promised to complete it by Thanksgiving. It was actually Valentine's Day! Brad was unable to coordinate the skilled labor in an efficient manner, he inaccurately measured the vanities and countertops, making the carpenter “cut” the vanities to “fit” and we needed to re-order the countertops. He also ordered the wrong drawer front, causing our mom to have a “fake” drawer. Brad also took it upon himself to finish the plumbing needs in the bathtub, attaching all the faucets for the tub, telling my 92 year old mom she was good to go for taking a shower. This resulted in a catastrophic incident with the hot water faucet falling out of the wall when she tried to turn it off. Large amounts of water were blasting out of the faucet, at my mother and onto the new floor, making it a very unsafe situation. My mom needed to get out of the tub and call for help which took a half hour; at which time the basement was raining. Brad stated this was due to “old piping”, not taking responsibility.
All these "problems" added an unbelievable amount of time to the project, which did cause undue safety concerns for my mom, having to use the powder room toilet at the other end of her ranch, every night with her walker and O2.
The skilled labor, namely the plumber and carpenter were excellent. Can't say enough good things about them. But, if you do use ServPro for your removal and restoration project, do NOT have Brad as your Restoration project manager!

We had a great experience with S&C Suburban Painting services & Chimney inspection ltd. Zachary examined the cost of the chimney inspection up front and performed a thorough cleaning and examination of the fireplace. He discovered moisture penetration that had caused mold growth within the chimney system and small cracks that needed to be repaired. Zachary described how structural safety and indoor air quality can be impacted by unchecked mold contamination. Everything was meticulously cleaned, and the chimney repair was done expertly. Offers reliable chimney repair services and is well-versed in long-term fireplace care and mold avoidance. I heartily endorse their knowledgeable staff.

Our fireplace was inspected and cleaned by S&C Suburban Painting services & Chimney inspection ltd, who provided a competent service. Before starting, he thoroughly discussed the cost of the chimney inspection. He found mold growth brought on by retained moisture during the inspection, as well as structural deterioration that needed to be fixed in the chimney. He described how, if left unchecked, mold spores can travel through interior air and cause mold infection.

Alan was on time and efficient in his work. They were courteous and considerate of our home. I will definitely use them again for painting my interior of our home.

When we noticed that our dryer was getting hotter than usual and that our clothes were taking a long time to dry, S&C Suburban Painting Services & Chimney Inspection Ltd discovered a large amount of lint buildup in the vent, which could have been a fire hazard. They cleared out all the obstructions, tested the airflow, and gave us advice on how often to schedule cleaning. The difference in performance was immediate—clothes now dry in half the time. The technician was courteous, quick, and left no mess. In addition to convenience, this service is also about safety.

The chimney inspection and painting services provided by S&C Suburban Painting Ltd. are excellent! Our chimney was inspected by them, and they promptly fixed any damage they discovered. Rapid attic insulation upgrades resulted in considerable energy savings. The cleaning of the dryer vent and air ducts was thorough and effective. A hornet nest was removed from our shed by their pest control expert. On-site gas fireplace repair was finished without any delays in parts. The roofing crew repaired several damaged shingles and caulked any leaks. The contractor guaranteed excellent quality and provided us with frequent updates. Excellent service from start to finish, affordable prices, and a welcoming staff. We will be back since we are so happy.
