Scheduling was easy, Matt was very professional and prompt! If you're looking for lawn maintenance, landscaping, or snow removal this guy does it all! He takes his business very seriously and takes care of his customers. I have used him and so have my friends and family. Everyone has the same great things to say about him!

Starting with the initial visit and consultation with Alex Mathison, continuing through the design process and culminating in the implementation of the project, this experience has been seamless, easy and enjoyable.
Alex and the design professionals have a vision exclusive to the property under consideration, possess the level of communication skills to present the concepts and make them come to life on the drawing and virtual tour of the site, and an understanding of the service/contact/communication required to help guide the customer through the process with comfort, trust and confidence.
The construction crew worked effectively, efficiently and diligently throughout the project, always taking great care to not only keep me informed as to the direction and process, but also make sure I was pleased with the process, comfortable with the timeline, and in complete understanding of the direction...they treated my property and the implementation of the project as if it were their own!

Alex and his team are very responsive and thoughtful, presenting a great plan upfront. When we've been indecisive, he provides good suggestions. Plants that aren't thriving to their standards are replaced before we even notice.

I am not a customer of American Landscape but my employer is.

In the beginning of November, the last grass cutting of the year, a rock was kicked out of one of their mowers and hit a side window behind the rear door of my brand new toy...um, vehicle (It had not yet experienced its first oil change.).

One of my coworkers saw the rock hit, and took pictures immediately. He then notified me of what had just happened. I then took this information to my boss, and we started the process to resolve this problem. Sparing all of the details, I got an estimate and American Landscape agreed to replace the broken window.

I was caught in the middle of 3 companies trying to communicate. All of this business(work) to business(American Landscape) to business(window company) communications took forever. However the window finally was replaced on the 2nd week of January and I received a check from American Landscape on the 3rd week of January. This 3 month period is the reason for 4 stars, if it was quicker I would rate it 5 star.

American Landscape did the right thing. Thank you for correcting the; I want to say mistake, but it is more just a random event that your company/employees have no control over, other than its your equipment.

To other prospective customers: American Landscape took care of their contract's employee, (or contract's customers if you are retail) If I owned a business I would want this level of respect to my employees/customers.

I have been working with the team at American Landscape for several years now on various projects for our new home, from large and minor plantings to a large hardscape project. American's team is top notch, provided wonderful counsel, and performed the jobs on time and on budget. I have recommended them to neighbors and friends, with similar results.

The quality of American Lawn Care Services has gone downhill considerably this summer. The grass has large areas that haven't been cut for the last two visits. ( 3 weeks) They no longer trim in close areas. They no longer blow clippings off of sidewalks. There have been numerous incidents of damage to siding and gutter downspouts that are ignored and not reported. They have not responded or corrected any complaints. They have a contract but are not even near to completely fulfilling it. It seems like they think because they have a contract the quality of their work doesn't mattter.

We are a twenty eight unit condominium community in Pewaukee. We have had American Landscape take care of our lawns and landscaping for the past three years. We have always been pleased with the quality of their work and we intend to continue using their services in the future.

Bart and the whole team at American Landscape did a great job on our yard work - significant pruning and trimming, mulching, etc. The work was done very well, on time and on budget. I'd highly recommend them for your next project!

I am writing this review for American Landscape. We made the change to them for grounds keeping at our apartment. We have nothing but good things to say about this company. The cost was more than we were used to but the work and customer service have made it worth it. The lawn mowing guys are very friendly and we have never seen the grass look so good.. Our bushes were cut a second time this year on Friday and they look fantastic.. The salesman is one of the most energetic people I have met and he always has a smile. He checks up on the site and helps the crew work to make it look good.. We will be staying with ths company for more years with their great work. We highly recommend American Landscape.

American Landscape was a joy to work with on our landscaping project from inception to completion. Alex Mathison is extremely knowledgeable and was able to create an outdoor oasis that is both beautiful and relaxing. Alex answered all our questions and made thoughtful suggestions when we needed help with design of our patio to suggestions of shrubs, bushes and trees for our yard.

The team who brought our vision into reality was Luis, Matthew and Jesus. They did an amazing job and worked tirelessly. Luis paid attention to the smallest details and always made sure we were happy during our project.
Luis, Matthew and Jesus showed up early to work and often stayed late. At the end of the process they cleaned everything up. We are extremely happy how our yard and patio turned out. Alex Mathison said he would be happy to answer any questions that may come up while our new yard continues to grow.

Jean, the designer, was incredibly helpful. She worked with us to keep us on budget yet still accomplish our goals with the project. Her design fit the scope and scale of our yard, and beautifully tied in with our home and surrounding yard. Foreman Jose and the other field installers were courteous, clean, and skilled. They were conscientious of our needs and did everything to mitigate collateral damage to property. We would recommend American Landscape to anyone looking to improve their property.

American Landscape designed and implemented the landscaping for our home. We worked with Brian W. and his design was beautiful with several unique features. The communication was constant and American Landscape worked closely with our other contractors to ensure services were delivered and completed on the proper timeline. We had several changes throughout the process and expectations were met each time. Follow up and continuing service around the work has been great.

American Landscape did a beautiful job landscaping my entire property. Daniel, my landscape designer, did a great job in laying everything out so it all worked together. Communication was excellent. We were able to envision what it would look like with the help of his layouts and photos of scrubs, bushes and trees. I signed off on each expense prior to work, and the work was done on schedule. Daniel also worked closely with the irrigation company to be sure that the watering lines were laid out where they would be most effective for all the new plantings. They even took care of lawn repair, getting rid of some invasive bent grass and reseeding. And the 8 inch stone edging they put in around the beds was the icing on the cake. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I have been working with American Landscape at my home for about 10 years. My wife and I like to complete a landscaping project each summer and add to our yard. Several years ago, I hired American as my landscape contractor for my commercial office building as well.

For each of the 10 years with American, we have been able to work with the same person, Steve Dunn. Steve is a great ideas person and has been helpful and responsive with all our requests. He has been the lead on every job, which is nice to have the same [person in charge.

Three weeks ago we asked Steve to design a patio for our backyard. This would be our signature project and we were anxious to finish the job before the snow hit. It was cold and rainy, but American worked around the weather and kept the project on track. The crew, especially foreman Simone, made helpful suggestions to improve the job - while the project was in process. We really liked this, and it made the final outcome even better.

The patio design was a little tricky because there was a septic tank lid that sat about 3 inches above grade and they had to be creative to work around that. Turned out great!

I have also worked with Brian Wirth as another go to guy at American - and have been very pleased with response times, communication, plant selections and the courteous treatment we always get from the office staff. Again, everything always turns out great!

Without hesitation, I would give my highest recommendation to Steve, Brian, Simone and the crew at American Landscaping. We have used them for big and small projects, and each time we have been delighted with the outcome. Tom, Town of Lisbon.

Alex Mathison and the American Landscape crew did a major backyard patio design and install for us. Including a large fire area, hot tub, and deck area as well as the surrounding planting. Luis, Jesus, and Matt were the crew and were incredibly professional. All were flexible and wanted only to be sure we were happy with what we got. We absolutely are thrilled.

They delivered on our high expectations with a specific plan and a project team that was competent, hard work working and good people to have on site. He listened to what we wanted and incorporated our input with his design ideas. He was on-top of the project as the work was completed. The crew was terrific.
