Landscaping reviews in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

I engaged this company to remove an area of ivy and an adjacent area of poor grass, replace the soil and seed the area, along with some plantings and mulching. I thought that the work-site workers did a good job. Unfortunately, the grass germinated very poorly with large areas of the mat where straw was missing showed no germination at all. After a couple of weeks I asked their consultant Dan to come back and re-seed the lawn. The response was that they were switching to a new seed and they it would be about a week. A couple of weeks later it was “we’ll be there tomorrow”. I made one more try and bought 10 lb of seed from Menards and started re-seeding areas of open mat and eventually removed the straw mat to seed other areas. I am now removing weeds and seeding a few areas. My concern is the abandonment of me as a customer. Aside from the failure to properly seed the lawn, no one even came back to assess the progress of their work, to remove the mat or to advise us about removing it.

Great Lakes Landscape did a marvelous job with our landscaping project. The crew was cheerful, polite, hard working and knowledgeable regarding the project. The result was just as we pictured . They even blew the dirt from the driveway before they left which really impressed my husband !
We'll definitely be calling on Great Lakes in the future.

The whole experience was great. I needed help getting my garlic mustard under control. From the time to get a quote to the job being done was less than a week. The crew was polite and I asked questioned when they needed to. Can not recommendation more!

Ayahelio’s crew did an excellent job grading and landscaping my backyard. They filled and mulched around my new garage, redefined the foundation beds around the house, patched the lawn, and even rescued and replanted the perennials I thought I would lose. The clean up was great. They truly went above and beyond all my expectations.

I had a great team working on my grading and landscaping. Jeorge, Juan, Misael, Efrain, and Alan were meticulous in removal and replanting of plants, grading and they were all very personable. I felt lucky to have such a nice team. Thank you, guys!

They completed aeration just a couple of days ago. Everything done nicely and clean. Communication was wonderful. They follow up with my questions right away, pricing was acceptable and reasonable.

This is a great local company who keeps their word and follows through! We had an area behind our garage that has progressively become more overgrown since we bought the place and several other companies would
come out, quote and then never call us back. Not Great Lakes Landscaping though, they came out, quoted, scheduled with us, showed up promptly and absolutely transformed the area where it is now unrecognizable compared to what it was before. Just give them a call!

What a great experience using Great Lakes Landscape! Carolina was knowledgeable and creative. She got a bid to me in a day, and then once accepted, she kept me updated on the start date. The crew (Austin and guys) were very conscientious and efficient. We had 20 year old landscaping that was overgrown and unsightly. The crew did a fantastic job removing the old scrubs and installing the new plants, edging, mulching and installing new decorative stone. When the crew left, the premises here were perfectly cleaned up. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others. Thank you for beautifying my home!

My dogs used to run wild and tear up my back yard. So I had Great Lakes landscape come in and grade and put in all new top soil and sod. Now my backyard is awesome. Now when I’m hanging on my patio I’m looking at lush green grass!
