Surprisingly disappointed this year! I have been buying from Fred's for thirty years and have always had thriving plants...NOT this year. Something was dreadfully wrong with their product this year. I've had my plants for a month and they are not even growing! I do the same plantings every year and they usually thrive. Fred cut corners big time and it shows.

I love this place! Prices are very reasonable and the selection and quality of the plants can't be beat. This family run business has been around a long time and I hope they stay in business forever.

Been beautifying and stocking my flower and vegetable gardens for many years. One of the best local treasures in the area. I usually await my spring pilgrimage to Fred's before Memorial Day with great excitement. In addition, best individual service and most reasonable prices in town!

Fred’s is an awesome neighborhood garden store. They have a ton of annuals and perennials (decorative and edible) in the spring. They have the best selection of hanging flower baskets. Everything is priced so well and it’s great to support a local, small business.

Normally my mom & I go to Fred’s every year and it’s a great experience. They have beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, today we patronized Fred’s and, I’m going to assume that the older Caucasian woman that works the register was having a bad day. She was extremely rude. When I told her I spend a lot of money there, she said I don’t care! She mad a very simple request I was making into something horrible. I merely asked if the flower arrangement that I was purchasing could have a new spike ( the one in the arrangement was starting to turn brown) she ranted about how she couldn’t and wouldn’t replace it and then began chopping up the existing spike. Long story short, we finally got the owner and he took the arrangement and replaced the spike. She even yelled across the establishment and asked him not to accommodate us. WOW!! I only bout my $46 arrangements because it’s not her establishment. Otherwise, she would never have to worry about me EVER coming back again. I will post a video on social media. It’s bad!!!! So rude!! Jaw dropping for this day an age we live in. Completely unacceptable!!!

I love Fred's Garden center! Super healthy plants friendly people and low prices!

This business has been around for a LONG time. The owners (staff) are wonderful and the quality of their plants can't be beat. The pricing is so reasonable... Less than even the "big box" stores and other chain garden centers. Stop in... You'll find what you want every time.

We go every single year. Locally owned and grow their flowers and plants. We love it here and feel great supporting a local business

Last season was our first time starting a garden. My partner and i purchased a few vegetable plants from another larger garden center. I wanted more, so we decided to check out the little garden center down the street, Fred's.
I regret not going to Fred's first. The prices were so much more reasonable, for much healthier plants. Half of the plants from the other place died, while Fred's flourished.
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Don't bother with the big box garden centers, you'll get much better prices and quality from Fred's.

I have been going to Fred’s for over 40 years now. It was always a place of joy for me and my family. Sadly, Diane and her husband - sold the business to their son John. He has no customer finesse and acts like he hates his customers. Shortened Memorial Day hours- he is blatantly RUDE to his customers. Ruined all the years of Diane’s work.
Not to mention all of his (John’s) hard work in putting the greenhouses and plants together. He ruined it with his actions to long time customers.

Parking is pretty treacherous. You’re best off parking on a side road.

Super helpful staff and lost of options! It's a really nice little place. They obviously really care about plants. They had s wide variety of annuals, biannual, perennials, herbs, and veggie garden starters.

What a gem! I discovered this garden shop a couple of years ago and it is my go-to for my summer flowers for my house. I also have purchased many gifts here, too!

This is my very favorite place to buy plants for our flower beds and vegetable gardens in the city. The care that they take with the plants is evident as they are always healthy and flourish very well after planting. The staff is always friends and knowledgeable offering advice and encouragement for those of us who are novice gardeners. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

George from TruGreen always does a great job. He is also very accommodating to us and our lawn related questions or concerns.

We have had TruGreen Lawn Care for years now and are very happy with the service we receive.

Zero stars. I don’t think they ever actually treated my lawn except the time they killed half of it. Paid for their service last summer and this summer when all of the weeds grew right back I complained invoking their 100% satisfaction guarantee. They scorched my lawn, would not send out a manager to talk to me and look at the lawn and kept charging me when they were supposed to be fixing the lawn at no charge until I was satisfied. I’m still fighting with them to reverse charges. Total scam company.
And don’t believe any reply by the company to bad reviews, they do not mean a word they say.

Jeffery always takes care of staying trees never fruit tree, closes gates and make sure hose doesn’t drape in pool! 5stars

Customer service representative was friendly and courteous. He explained exactly what he was doing, and why. He accomplished his task quickly and was on his way.

We had a specialist come out and take a look at our lawn and give us an answer as to why we had a number of dead spots on our lawn even though they were already out a few times to fertilize. He told us what he thought the problem was and someone came back to resolve the problem.
