Terrible company. Save yourself the headaches and pay someone else a little bit more!!!! Where to start?…..This company was unfortunately brought to my home by the people doing my kitchen remodel. No one ever contacted me to come see the job before it started. I never recieved any quotes or estimates for their work. Joe, the owner of Maverick Mechanicals, told the remodelers he had spoke to me ahead of time, which was not true.They did not show up the morning the project was scheduled to begin. Apparently, they got called to a more important/lucrative job in Illinois. They arrived in the afternoon while I was at work and started their work without ever contacting me. Joes crew left puddles of water in my basement, and damaged drywall when they cut the water lines to cap them. When they came back at end of the remodel to hook things up, once again they got called away to a more important job. They billed for 9 hours at a standard plumber rate, with 2 trip charges. I am totally ok with that. I was not ok with being billed nearly $1,100.00 for just his material, which was very minimal. There were a few shutoff valves, 4 ft of copper pipe, 25 feet of flexible gas line, and other common fittings. There was also an additional charge for “Disposables.” When questioned about this, Joe the owner could not give me any answers and said he would talk to his guys and get back to me. Joe never got back to me. I should add, the first invoices I ever saw were very threatening. Telling me I would be taken to collections if I did not make payment. Regrettably, I did make payment. Months later, I am getting text messages that a lien will be put on my house if I don’t make payment!
Long story short, find a different plumbing company.

PS They left a leaky connection in my new cabinets.
