Great experience again with Maverick Mechanicals. They've come out three times for us in a past few years for issues with the dishwasher, toilet and most recently the shower. All three times the work was done well and on-time. Plumbers are friendly and prices fair.

My husband and I bought a fixer upper that needed a lot of plumbing work, including replacing the water heater, sump pump, outdoor hose bibbs, and fixing/setting up the bathroom and kitchen sinks, among other things. I had an issue with my shower, so I called a few area plumbers, and they were the only one to answer the call right away. They were able to get me on the schedule within the week, and John came out and was very personable and helpful! I will definitely use them again if needed in the future!

I needed a plumber quickly after I was unable to make a repair on my own. Maverick was able to respond and get the job done. They coordinated according to schedule and let me know when they were on their way.

While we appreciate coming out the next day (regular plumber on vacation), charging us an hour because your guy didn't have wax rings on his truck and had to go them + charging roughly 2.5 times my normal plumber, think we'll stick with our regular guy.

There was a return visit to bring the entire system (backup pump and all) up to current standards, giving us great peace of mind that we'll be good even if the power goes out. We contacted Maverick to relocate our sump discharge line above ground. This wasn’t a super challenging project and something I was considering doing myself. Our house was going up for sale and I just didn’t have the time so I decided to use Maverick.

This job started clunky and ended up a disaster that the company refused to stand behind.

The technician showed up early but without the right supplies to do the job. Simple PVC piping on this job wasn’t in his truck? So I was billed for his shopping trip for a few dollars of pipe fittings.

The plumber then ran the pvc pipe outside and angled the discharge line directly at the ground right next to my foundation. There was no extension to run the water away from my house. I had to go back and cut his work and add my own extension to run the water away from my house. I had called their supervisor after the job was done to address this. The supervisor apologized, admitted that wasn’t the right way to run the discharge and promised to come out the following Monday to fix it. He never showed and never called. Extremely unprofessional.

The worst part of this job is the plumber placed my sump pump on the gravel bottom of my sump crock instead of on the pedestal and the pump sucked up a rock. This killed the pump which was less than 2 years old. They dont dispute they did this. I was standing with the plumber when he turned the pump on and we heard the rock in the pump. What they didn’t do was take responsibility for their screw up. They charged me for the new pump, the extra shopping trip to go buy the pump and the time to install it.

Over $900 to simply reroute a pvc discharge through a wall.

The reason I couldn’t fight it is because my house sold and the transaction couldn’t finalize with the bill pending as open.

I have photos of text messages, emails and their work. Shocking how unprofessional they are and how they have made it this far not standing behind their work when they screw up.

I Hired this company on April 14th 2021 to replace 3 outdoor spigots. I wanted to pick out my own spigots but was told that it wouldn't be covered under warranty then. So I allowed Joe to install whatever he wanted. I wasn't super happy with the install it looks very sloppy on two but I didn't make a fuss. Worked great all summer. This week is the first week frost isn't a worry so I hooked up our hose to wash out my trashcan and it's leaking out the top. I contacted Joe right away. Was told it's out of warranty by 11 days and nothing he can do. Spigots need replacing every 10-20years I'm highly upset to only get 6months of use. I will never use this company or recommend this company to anyone. He obviously does not stand by his work.

Excellent customer relations/communication and prompt service. They work around your schedule and timeline for whatever projects that you might be doing.

I utilized their plumbing services for small remodels in my kitchen and bathroom and a valve replacement on my water main.

Staff demonstrated integrity, professionalism and cleanliness when working in my home. Sometimes it’s weird having contractors that you don’t know inside your home, but they were all trustworthy people. Also you feel better knowing that you’re supporting a union.

This is an excellent company. They have knowledgeable, professional and kind employees. One knows what to expect at the beginning of service with regard to quote, timing, etc. Recently I hired them to install a new water heater because ours had been flooded in the August 2025 Milwaukee flood. They did a fine job from beginning to end. The price was fair and exactly as had been quoted. The timing was also exactly as I had been told. Several years ago they did another plumbing job for me and that went very well also. I highly recommend this company.
