I live in the southeast and consulted with Matt merely on design concept after reviewing his posting on installing inground pools in high water tables. Matt was extremely responsive to my questions and even followed up to ask how our project was going. Matt's recommendations were directly consistent with my pool company's recommendations. Having such a large investment I just wanted a second opinion to ensure we were going in the right direction. Thanks to Matt for offering his advise even considering I was not a paying customer. It's hard to find this type of service now days!

Writing this review a year and a half after the installation of an in-ground pool, and into the second season of service with Penguin Pools. Overall, it's been a great experience working with Matt and the rest of the crew during initial planning and through the decision-making process and problem resolution on-the-fly during construction. Service and maintenance related interactions afterwards were managed exceptionally well too. Very professional, courteous, and honest owner and company. Highly recommended!

Matt and his crew did a fantastic job installing our pool. They were extremely helpful in the design area explaining all of the different options available. The most impressive thing with Penguin Pools and Matt is that customer service doesn't end the day they fill the pool. Years later, I'm still able to call Matt with any questions I have and he'll respond within 24 hours. Stop looking and give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

I couldn't be happier with my pool. Matt did a wonderful job from start to finish, from the design and layout (and explanation of all of our available options) to installation, to now on-going maintenance. I would recommend Matt and Penguin Pools to anyone. They do fantastic work. It's so easy now to set up an opening or closing. They arrive on-time, get right to work, and finish the job beautifully. Matt and the TEAM at Penguin Pools have been a pleasure to work with and wonderful with answering questions and providing support after the work is done. In 2013 they replaced our liner and installed a new heater, everything was perfect and they truly made this project a pleasant experience. This year they replaced our chlorinator with a salt chlorine system. They provided all of the start-up products and guidance on how to use the system. I Highly recommend Penguin Pools for any projects and only wish I could have worked with them when my pool was first installed 20 years ago!

I had been in contact with Matt for a few YEARS while making my decision to install a pool and he answered DOZENS of emails and phone calls from me with questions! Penguin pools put in a new pool for us early this summer (2013). They did a great job working with us on the pool dig planning and our many rounds of changes to make sure we were happy with what we were getting. Matt was very professional when working with us and was always available to answer all our questions. The build process was very quick and the team was polite and hard working. They were responsive when the solar cover delivered was smaller than we needed and had it replaced right away. The training on the pool equipment was also great since this was our first pool. Their team also did our fence which went very quickly and looks great. We're very happy with everything about our pool, decking and fence. I would use them again if I was putting in a pool.

Two years ago we provided a great review regarding Penguin Pools. Two years later our opinion has NOT changed. Matt, Angela, and the service staff are fantastic and a pleasure to work with. They respond to all our needs, answer all of questions and truly seem to enjoy what they do. We have had a number of neighbors from our subdivision that are interested in a pool ask us about our experience and we insist that they contact Matt at Penguin Pools.

Matt and the Penguin crew did a great job on our in-ground pool. We had it installed at the end of 2014 for use in 2015. We went back and forth in our decision making process for about a year and Matt was very understanding. He also discussed each option with us and the cost/benefits of each. We opted for an automatic cover, which really was a great decision - very little time cleaning and lots of time spent in the pool. I would recommend anyone installing an in-ground pool to add an automatic cover. We are very happy with our purchase.

Penguin Pools built our pool 12 years ago. We’ve loved every minute of our summers with a pool. They’ve done a great job with repairs, and for the past few years cleaning and maintenance. I would highly recommend them for your pool installation and cleaning and maintenance. Since having them do our chemical balance, we’ve had very few balancing problems. So worth my time and money to have them clean and maintain my pool every summer.

We had moved into our home two years ago and was using the pool service the sellers had used for many years. Unfortunately last summer the owner had passed away and the business was no longer. I was desperate to find someone to close the pool last year and had a terrible experience with that company I found. I researched and ran across Penguin Pools and they were very helpful in answering my questions. We had our pool opened by Kareem and he was the nicest person. He was very professional and explained everything that he did to me and my husband. We had a way better experience and we are very happy to say we found a great company to service our pool this year and going forward. Thank you Kareem for making this process less stressful. We purchased a home with an inground pool in need of repair. Penguin Pools was one of the companies that we had contacted to start fixing it up and getting it functional. They provided quotes and excellent service. Any project comes with added surprises and they were able to support us by assisting in the additional work that needed to be done. Penguin Pools built our pool a couple years ago and has helped us with service & winterization each year. We have continually used Penguin Pools for the opening/winterization and maintenance control of our pool and spa. They have been 100% professional and their quality of work is top notch. Gailen is very polite and knowledgeable each and every time he comes over. We would recommend Penguin to everyone for a company they can count on for their individual needs. For me the "process" of an inground pool installation was my biggest fear, mostly because I didn’t know what it would be. I’ve got to say that at every and any step of the way my questions were handled with the utmost professionalism and satisfactory answers. The Penguin Pool employees as well as the concrete contractors are second to none. It was amazing to watch them perform the process of this project. The individuals that I watched were so in-sync with each other it was fun to watch. The time on the job was so efficient day in and day out. A few weeks into the start of the project I was introduced to a newly hired project manager, Chris. The handoff to Chris from Matt, the President, was so seamless. Again amazing! The communication between Chris and I was immediate and transparent. He would inform me of the daily schedule and any schedule changes as I would inform him of any issues that came to light. He would get one of his crew to fix it or explain why it needed to be the way that it was. Another seamless handoff was from the installation team to the service team in regard to cleanings and chemical balancings. Once the pool/spa became usable our purchase included several weeks of cleaning’s as well as a 2hour training in which we received documentation as well as YouTube videos. In summary, the result was exactly what my wife and I were hoping for. I can’t tell you enough of how pleased we are with our new backyard Oasis! I highly recommend Penguin Pools as your pool installers of choice. You will not be disappointed!

Matt and his team were very helpful in coming up with the design for our in-ground, including features that we never thought of, but now love. They were very flexible with small changes in the development process, as we extended the length of our pool deck. Any time that we had questions about the process, they were very knowledgable and responded in a timely manner. They continue to support us as we've experienced some equipment issues beyond their control. We love our in-ground pool!

After having issues with service from other pool companies Penguin Pools has provided many years of amazing service for our pool and spa! They respond quickly and explain any issues as well as your options for fixing them. Both the service department as well as accounting and scheduling employees are quick to respond to any questions. They have replaced our pool heater and even got it covered under warranty! I would never use another pool company as service like this is hard to find!!

Penguin pools - designed and built our pool in a timely fashion. They provide winterization services for our pool and are very reliable.

Our experience has been nothing but fantastic. We've had issues with certain things at our pool mechanically and they've been so quick to respond and help us fix things in a timely manner. We keep our pool very clean and they never try to upcharge us or over charge for work that's not needed.
