Service Master Recovery Services of New Berlin did a great job responding quickly to our distress call (water in the basement). Field Manager Chris quarterbacked the project well and explained the plan. Evan and John did a great job with the remediation. Coordination with our insurance company has gone as smoothly as can be expected so far, but there is more to do there.

Service Master Recovery Service did a great job on rebuilding our house. They worked closely with my insurance company and myself. They were able to get the insurance company to cover the cost of new kitchen cabinets! Sergio and Angel were great to work with.

Had ServiceMaster come out after some water damage. John Austin was our go to guy on the whole project. He was was very helpful and informative and willing to go above and beyond for us to make sure things were as smooth as possible. Despite the difficulty of unexpected water damage situation John helped make it bearable and his team was fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

Steve Monte was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and honest. He works towards what's best for everyone involved, and he strives to get the job done the right way the first time. As a contractor myself, I can not think of anything that would have made it a more professional experience.

I would not recommend this company whatsoever. From start to finish, the experience was extremely frustrating.

Communication was extremely poor and the project ended up taking much longer than initially promised. The lack of proper project management and organization from Dan was evident and significantly impacted the progress of our project, as there were constant delays and confusion about what was happening.

As a homeowner investing in a renovation, I expected better coordination and professionalism. Sadly, this experience fell far short of expectations. We ended up with a project that was far behind schedule and riddled with mistakes. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually values clear communication and timely results.

The one star is for Edwin because he was helpful and professional.

Our experience with the staff was top notch. They were very professional, on time and did an amazing job with our basement water issue. I called on a Friday and Jim came out the same day to assess the situation. The clean up crew came out a few days later and did an excellent job of removing items in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Service Master. Thank you for all your hard work!

I am giving this review a 5 based on the actions and only the actions of Edwin Navarro, head of the construction team, for taking over the whole project due to the issues with the original project manager D.R. who messed up everything and made everything fall through and left with no time as to when it would be completed. Once Edwin found out we were still waiting for work to be done (claim started end of July) he was on top of it and got it done in a few days (right before thanksgiving). He was extremely apologetic and friendly and because of him we would have no issues having his team come back and help us out with any other work we may need done. THANK YOU EDWIN FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM!

I am very grateful to Service Master Recovery Services. They came immediately and got everything organized as needed. They covered the roof so no more water damage until they could proceed with preparation for repairs. Mr. Drew Brauer did an excellent job making sure everything got done in good time.

Service master came out to dry basement after sewer backup. Did a good job until it was time to get the carpet replaced. Had to wait months. Still haven't finished the job . Been 4 months. They were paid by insurance now on excuse after ther other.

This past July we returned from a long weekend vacation to find half of our first floor and most of our finished basement flooded from a refrigerator supply line leak. After calling our insurance company, we received a call within 30 minutes from ServiceMaster to schedule a time to get guys out to start working. Within one hour they arrived and immediately started mitigating the water by vacuuming it out of the carpet and installing commercial fans.

The next morning, a crew led by Mark P. and his lead guy "G", arrived with a crew to remove the damaged hard wood floor, drywall, carpeting and baseboards. They then set up about 35 high powered fans and dehumidifiers to dry everything out.

During the entire process they were very professional and courteous, even suggesting ways to dry out the kitchen floor from below without the need to remove all of the cabinets and sink. They only removed the damaged products and minimized the amount of dust damage by hanging numerous sheets of plastic with zippers so we could stay in our house.

We loved working with ServiceMaster and would highly recommend them. The team was very experienced, reliable and professional, and got the job done efficiently. I could not recommend them more! In fact, I used them about a month later at a property that I manage that had a flood from a broken shower pipe.

We had a house fire in May and Service Master Restore in New Berlin was the 1st company to respond . They did a speedy job doing board up and demo . Special thanks to Mark Pavlasek for doing a great job with that . Edwin Navarro who has been in charge of the reconstruction project has been awesome ! His expertise and knowledge of the construction process and coordination of the sub contractors is top notch! We've been changing our minds often on selections for siding , windows, paint etc lol and he is very understanding and helpful with making decisions. Would like to mention Jim Best also who has been terrific and helping with the project . Would highly recommend Service Master!

We had some work done by ServiceMaster in the fall of 2023 to our outside deck & downstairs walkout beneath the deck. It was a great experience!
Our project manager, Dan Rinka was superb! He was professional, efficient & trustworthy. He kept us in the loop regarding scheduling service people & making sure the times were suitable to our schedule.
All of the workmen were respectful & well-organzied. They showed up on time & were considerate of our property. They all cleaned up from their work & communicated their progress & concerns.
We can't say enough positive things about their workmanship, professionalism & on the job performance.
We would recommend ServiceMaster without reservation; excellent company & employees.

I was on vacation when I had multiple frozen pipes burst in my condo. I was able to call ServiceMaster on that Saturday and Mark Cyganiak and his crew were out to the condo early Sunday morning. Then men that were there to take down drywall and ceilings did an amazing job. They worked quickly and efficiently without leaving any type of mess. When their work was completed, everything was cleaned up from drywall to blowers to scraps. ServiceMaster New Berlin does an incredible job in assisting with all phases of restoration. I would highly recommend ServiceMaster New Berlin for any restoration needs!

We recently experienced water back up in our basement and the team at ServiceMaster was awesome to work with. They were very understanding of our situation, professional and courteous throughout the process. Our basement floors look like new again. Thank you to G and his team.

Drew Brauer was amazing to work with! He was very attentive to my concerns. He worked around my schedule and made sure that I understood every detail and was happy with the results. In fact, I was happy but he wasn’t so he came back one more time to add some finishing touches. Thank you Drew and team! No offense but I hope I don’t have to work with you again! 🤭

I called them for a residential issue. See the attached photo. My basement (+-1000sf) flooded and they wanted to charge me over $2500 for removing the water and cleaning. After much back and forth, I ended up hiring them for removing the water only. They did the job super fast and left. I had to pay them $1244.91. I feel ill.

My problem is that during a pandemic, with so many real economic problems, that you should not be charging people that much money for such simple services. I don't think that is fair. Based on this, I will no rehire or recommend.

I am extremely satisfied with their service. Very knowledgeable & experts in their work. Very thorough, timely, transparent, & great communication. The crew went above & beyond my expectations regarding the water damage in my home. I was even pleasantly impressed, relieved, & satisfied that they took my dirty saturated towels & blankets, washed them, & brought them back pristinely clean & folded.I would absolutely hire them again & recommend them to anyone who may need the service.

I highly recommend Servicemaster! They cleaned carpeting, upholstered headboard, new mattress top, LR swivel chairs, upholstered storage, high stools, area rugs, cat condo, stairway. A superb job, quick, efficient, great customer service. You will definitely love the results!

After experiencing flood damage in our finished basement, our insurance company contacted a local firm for mitigation since they were comfortable dealing with them. Unfortunately, the work was amateurish, leaving behind a lot of trash and unnecessarily ripping out the home's sound system (which I have not yet been able to restore). Also, when pulling an ice making refrigerator from its under counter setting, they broke a water line connected o the refrigerator. We had to shut off the water supply and we had to call in a plumber at our expense to fix the problem and restore the water supply.

Three weeks went by without hearing anything further from that company so we decided to reach ServiceMaster Recovery Services. Checking back with the insurance, we were told that we could use our own contractor. Promptly, representatives showed up, took measurements and produced a restoration plan. We agreed to the estimate and restoration work began shortly thereafter.

The old cabinets were replaced, new refrigerator installed, bathroom refinished, new carpeting and flooring completed. Their finishing carpenter spent several days making sure everything was done correctly. Wish I could get him to come back for some handyman projects.

Suffice it to say, the ServiceMaster Recovery provided a fast restoration and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Servicemaster is an absolutely horrid company. They are disorganized (we had 5 project managers over the course of 18 months), they have negligent contractors (one of their plumbers killed our cat), they took our items to clean them, lost an item, and now refuse to contact us back to return the item or pay for its replacement. We have contacted our latest project manager, Mark from contants AND have emailed Mark the owner and have gotten no responses back. At this point, it seems very much like theft. Go to any other company, or hire out contractors yourself if you have an emergency. This company is a scam.
The work they did has been very poorly done and we have to repaint all the trim due to it having fingerprints everywhere. This is the "landlord special" of restoration companies.
