We had a great experience with Trees on the Move. Ernesto was knowledgeable, patient, and definitely customer service-oriented as we worked together to solve my landscape screening goals on the property line. He made sure we understood everything about trees and the importance of care and watering after installation.

The planting team were very friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, hard-working, and provided all walk through of tree care needs as well for our 12 new juniper trees.

I am writing a late review bc I have been very busy with other endeavors.

Before 11-25-2024, I had outstanding positive meetings from Mr. Ben Wallace, from Trees on the Move. It was coordinated my backyard challenging project, which emcompasses the areas of drainage, hardscape, and softscape.

FYI, I bought the house last 1-2021. For many years, it was neglected with poor maintenance inside - out.

This company has 40+ years dealing with trees & 24+ years dealing with hardscape.
With my project, they have to deal with the City of Milwaukee requirements (engineer structural design, permit, 4 inspector visits). It was a good experience for everyone. Even the city inspector learned!!!

The team worked from 11-25-2024 to 12-17-2024. Ben Wallace was the coordinator, & a team of 3 workers did the job, where Horacio, was the foreman.

The quality of the communication with everyone was excellent, especially when trying to figure out the best way to fix the challenges encountered. I appreciate they respect my opinion.

Among the challenges the team had to deal with: moved around a small space to access their equipment in-out the backyard, solving the drainage issues (water coming from the next door neighbor yard sump pump pond, that flood my yard & for 25+ years, damaging the garage cement floor & driveway).
Because I lived in a hill, they also built a long retain wall (that in some areas was almost 5 feet tall).
They also deal with cold weather, and they need to protect the topsoil to avoid it froze in order to continue working the next day.

Since yesterday, 3-4-2025, it has been raining a lot in the southeast of Milwaukee. The backyard (5 feet deep gravel) drainage swale is doing its job with the flood issues !!!

Everything is well done with aesthetics & functionality.

I am delighted with their services and the reasonable price. I will contact this team for further projects, next time in the area of landscaping

We contacted Trees on the Move to save a tree in our yard that would’ve been lost due to moving our septic system. Ernesto did a fabulous job communicating with us and completing the work on a strict timeline! Outstanding job!

Davey Tree has been doing yard services (fertilizing, pest control etc.) for over 10 yrs now and are very professional with great pricing. Their techs are very knowledgeable and have helped educate me with regard to lawn care as well as tree services they have performed on a few occasions over the years.

Davey Tree Service has been exceptional. Each time we have had them for a project they reviewed the work to be completed, answered any questions we had, and then invited us on a walkthrough once all work was completed. We are return customers and highly recommend their services.

Great work. Huge maple needs to be climbed because of location. Trimmed out some dead wood and evaluated health. I trust the experience and skill of Davey crew. My trees are a treasure.

When I call a real person answers the phone. Great people to work with.

I've not received any quotes for the trees that I wanted cut down or trimmed and this is three weeks ago when he stopped by to see what I needed to be done.

They don't spray the oak trees, and they're trimming oaks during OAK WILT SEASON! MICHIGAN IS GOING TO BE UGLY WITHOUT THERE OAK TREES BECAUSE DAVEY TREE SERVICE IS OUT OF OHIO. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR TREES IN MICHIGAN, JUST MONEY IN THERE POCKETS!!!!!

The tree pruning work which was done I would rate as 90% overall, one climber at 100% and the other at 80%. The clean up, compared to their past cleanup work, I would rate at 90% as well. I had to pickup several pieces of cut-off limbs in their work areas.

We have had them do several projects. Everything was very well done. All employees were knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend highly.

Used Davey twice to remove dead or dying trees. Could not believe the efficiency with which they worked and the cleanliness of the area when they were done. Very reasonable in their pricing, too

Excellent Service, Very Friendly and Meticulous. These guys go above and beyond. Dan and his team even rescued a kite out of our tree! Highly Recommend!

The crew was very professional and hard working. My old maple tree looks beautiful now,and is no longer encroaching on the neighbors garage.

We have used Davey several times within the last 20 years and they have been thoroughly professional. From timely appoitments to advice on maintaining our 45yr old maple, they have always met our expectatons.
