The staff are knowledgeable & helpful. We did not purchase our hot tub from Recreational Concepts (wish we had!), however they are amazing to work through water chemistry issues and recommending products. Highly recommend

Recreational Concepts put in our pool three years ago. They were absolute pros from start to finish. Everything was taken care of in a very timely manner and the yard was left perfectly clean. If we ever have any questions regarding our pool, they are always answered right away. The best part is that they come to open and close our pool every spring and fall which is a wonderful service. We can't wait for summer to come this year to enjoy another year with our pool !

Recreational concepts put in our pool 4 years ago. Not only did they do an excellent job with the pool but their customer service has also been excellent. When I've managed to screw up my pool, Jeremy has been there to help me. Calling me back off hours and texting me with troubleshooting tips. The office people have been very helpful too, replacing parts under warranty was hassle free. Jeff was also great to work with during the design/construction phase. If you're thinking of putting a pool, don't hesitate to hire Recreational Concepts. They are a top notch company to work with!!!

You feel like you have to beg to get their business. We’re a condo association and we’ve had them do work the past two years and have 8 more years of work needed based on staggered deck replacement. It took 3 messages over a weeks time before I received a return call. I was then promised a bid by a certain time frame and that did not happen. I did two followup emails and the president of the association also tried reaching out and we still have heard nothing! Time to find a new contractor given we will be working with the contractor for the next several years.

Rec Concepts helped us choose and design our pool and surrounds. We were very happy with the responsiveness to our questions. The construction of the pool was done to a high standard and on schedule when they started.. We also use Rec Concepts for our pool opening and closing and couldn't be happier.

I believe my pool was the most challenging one for Rec Con to build. We have major ground water issues here and water kept coming in and undoing so much work. I was ready to just say fill it back in. Long story short, it's 8 years later and my "miracle pool" is still amazing. I also love the location of the store as well as the friendliness of the staff. The chemicals they have are the BEST and make pool maintenance so easy. If you're thinking about investing in a pool, give these guys a call!

We chose to work with Recreational Concepts because of their proximity to our home and historical knowledge of our pool. But what will make us change companies is the consistent lack of communication of when they will be onsite and their invoicing practices. We recently (Feb 2024) received invoices for work completed in 2021 - how is this a way to run your business and allow people to budget appropriately. Mind you this was not an invoice that we had received previously, this was the initial invoice.

Filter pump noisy like a bearing failing. Requested pump replacement and requested specific pump. Was told I didn’t need that high of a horse power pump. Was told which would be the best for our application and it was even less expensive. They were also able to get this installed in two days for us. The installer did a great professional job and explained programming and money savings due to the variable speed pump.

They are great! Very competitive price-wise, with customer service that is outstanding and blows everyone else in the area away. We purchased a used hot tub, and it was a wonderful experience. When we ran into some small issues with balancing chemicals and hookup, Heather and the whole team at Recreational Concepts was there to help and resolve the issue. And the whole time, they were incredibly patient with someone new to hot tubs. Highly recommend.

I would avoid this company at all costs! I personally did not have them do work for me, but one of my customers/friends had them put in an in ground pool for them several years ago. This family is some of the nicest, most giving people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and they have gone through tremendous loss and hardship. The kind of people that would give their last dime to help someone in need. They have had nothing but problems with the pool from the get go. RC was months late starting the project, and once it was finished, the problems continued. The pool is leaking water from underneath, and from what I understand, one of the filter pipes under the pool is broken. RC keeps giving them the run around, and will NOT stand by their work. I HIGHLY URGE ANYONE THINKING ABOUT HIRING THEM TO DO WORK FOR THEM TO RECONSIDER!! There are numerous other reputable companies out there that would be happy to do the work, and stand behind it. I only hope that RC will do the right thing, and stand behind their work in the future

We had to do a lot of landscape work for our installation. One rock wall was halfway done and they didn't think it was quite right so the took it down and started over! It had to be done right!! I also take a water sample in every week for analysis and assistance it what needs to be done. They are always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Recreational Concepts installed a new liner for our 18x36 in-ground pool. Excellent work and price. Crew was pleasant, courteous, and efficient. Recreational Concepts coordinated the filling of the pool with water through another business, which was very helpful. Recreational Concepts installed a new timed pool pump, as our old one was breaking; they came out within 2 days, which was really appreciated since the temperature was in the 90’s and algae would form very quickly if the old pump broke. All in all, a great company with whom to work. I highly recommend.

We called to have a small part in the hot tub fixed at the end of August. It is now the middle to end of October. They have been out but do not tell us when they come and have not fixed the problem. There is no communication on when they can be out to fix it. They ordered a part for us but apparently it was broken when they received it and they needed to wait for another replacement part. No communication on when that part will be in or when it will be fixed. We have to call multiple times and left messages and it takes multiple days to hear back or we don’t hear from them at all. I don’t know when our tub will get fixed but really wish I called another company who at least communicates with their customers. At this point, I’m ready to call another company to fix it but do not want to be double charged. All I’m asking for is communication and a timeline. If they are unable to fix it they should have let us know so I could have called someone else.

They are okay. All pool places are pretty bad. They have a nice store and the actual pool workers are good guys. Do not hold your breath for the office people to ever get back to you. You have to nag them and show up in person to get anything done. I'm pretty sure they have plenty of work and don't really care to increase their business. That said I will probably use them in the future, they do good work, but I will never believe them if they say they will call me back on anything because they will not.

We had our pool installed two years ago. Recreational Concepts has been excellent to work with. They have always been responsive and the employees who are on site have always been kind and courteous to our family. I've never had to follow up on anything they have always been attentive and professional. I would recommend anyone looking to have a pool installed or need service on their pools to work with Recreational Concepts.

I bought my home eight years ago, with my first ever pool experience. Had no idea the work, the chemicals, the routines involved. Recreational Concepts converted our unheated pool to heated, converted to salt generated, and installed a safety cover (special needs child) the first year. A monumental job and Recreational Concepts completed the entire job with ease, so quick, so tidy, so communicative, sosososo glad I used them. Now years later, they continue to teach me the maintenance and complexities with ease. Contact me after hours, have never tried to sell me more than I need, make pool business easy on me. I have staff cells for questions and they respond late weekend nights to assure me and help. I would never consider going anywhere else, their fees are so reasonable, and even if they weren't, I would never trust any pool company other than Recreational Concepts with my investment.

Recreational Concepts put in a new pool liner for us 6 years ago. Last year they came and found and repaired all the places are pool was leaking. When called they were prompt in their response. This definitely helped relieve my anxiety!

We have been a satisfied customer of Recreational Concepts for over 5 years. We have an indoor pool with a hot tub and were having massive issues finding a company that could perform basic service and repair more difficult mechanical issues. Recreational Concepts to the rescue. Problem solved. They have worked us through many issues from thermostat issues to pump repair and service on our control board. The most recent project we hired them to do was the installation of a new Pentair wireless system. We are very happy with the work Recreational Concepts have done for us over the years!! We were initially very interested in working with Recreational Concepts Inc. and think they have a knowledgeable staff. However, our experience with communication and follow-up was disappointing. I sent several emails over the course of a few months just to get an initial appointment. When someone did finally come out, he was very professional and clearly knew his stuff, but unfortunately, we never heard from the company again after that visit, even though we were told someone would reach out. It took multiple attempts just to get that far, and the lack of follow-through made it difficult to move forward.
