Tree came down great it is the mess they left afterwards. I am still cleaning up the mess from the stump grinding and still chopping out roots they left 2 weeks later. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I’ve had Jim’s Tree Service come out to take down storm-damaged trees on two occasions. They were quick to respond, reasonable, and friendly.

Very sorry to leave this review but the lack of communication and no call-no show at appointments is unacceptable. Twice we had times set up for work to be done and twice they never called and never showed up. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

Absolutely Awesome. I had a difficult tree that needed to be removed. They came in with a crane and made it happen. The tree removed was a very old cotton wood and had a terrible case of the leans.

will never get any services done by them for this simple fact alone: whoever drives their truck around town has almost caused accidents every time i’ve seen them driving. they cut me off on a 55mph road and i had to drive off of the road to not crash into them. worst people ever.

You call Jim’s and they respond quickly. Recently a skilled team came and completed a tricky multiple tree removal on time and on budget. Site was left clean with very little indication they they were even there.

MASSIVE 400+ yr oak fell on my property about 8' up the trunk and split partially further up. Too risky for me to take out myself. These guys came out and took care of it in 2-3 hours for a very good price. No yard damage whatsoever beyond what the tree did itself. Will use again if needed.

We had a large tree blow onto our house after the recent storm. It ended up in a very precarious position. Leaning in such a way that cutting one wrong branch, would cause more serious damages the house. It was also located in an area that was inaccessible to vehicles. Andy, Jarred and Colin came in and masterfully removed the tree branch by branch. Having to climb, instead of using a lift, made the job much more difficult, but these guys were amazing!

The good parts: Crew arrived promptly as scheduled. Tree was removed in less than one day. Cost was competitive.

The bad parts: Wide-spread collateral damage. Most importantly, the wooden steps under a sliding glass door were pulled away from the house and left propped up unsecured, so that when the tenant arrived home, the entire staircase tilted sideways under her. Also, one of the treads was split along its full width. Additionally, my concrete walkway suffered a full-width crack.

Furthermore, the lawn was seriously roughed up: numerous ruts in the lawn, turf scraped up by the bobcat in multiple areas, dead spots left alongside the place where a truck had been parked (looking as if left by urination), large amount of wood chips left behind after grinding out the stump. Landscape edging timbers along the driveway were damaged, as was some of my understory shrubbery.

None of this destruction would have been a big deal to me had the owner been willing to talk about it. I left two voice mail messages, not returned, before I spoke with the receptionist, who said she would pass along my request to have Jim call me. That was two days ago, more than a full week since my first call, and I have heard nothing back. I call this inexcusable.

A great experience. After calling several services that were either rude on the phone or wouldn't even bother to call me back, Jim's showed up to give me an estimate on a tree that was is danger of falling. They even worked us in the next day because it was a priority.

Clean up was great and they were in and out in less than a day. I'm a very pleased customer.
