Tangeman Tree Care (Dean) has been my arborist for many years. His team does great work whether trimming the large maple in my yard, or doing timely clean-up after storm damage. He is highly knowledgeable, honest and reliable.

Dean Tangeman took down 3 giant ash trees in front of my house that died from ash borer. Felling them was tricky because they could have damaged my septic system if they were to fall the wrong way. Dean was extremely careful and cabled the trees so they would fall away from the drain field. He is a thoughtful and lovely person to work with.

I can't thank Dean and his crew enough for taking down my 75 foot black walnut tree. It had a large crack in it, and was in a dangerous area. It was amazing to watch them take it down safely, the cleanup was superb, and the price was extremely reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for tree services. Hands down, they are the best.

Dean Tangeman & assistant removed a large oak tree that had died. He was very competively priced (I got 3 quotes) and really knows his trees as an arborist. They did a superb job, including stacking the wood and cleaning up really well. Will definitely use again, as will some of our neighbors who wandered over to admire the process.

Dean and his crew were very professional and safety conscious when removing our 70' white pine and two other pines. They did a great job pruning up nine other pines and were very thorough in the clean-up process. We highly recommend Tangeman Tree Care.

I worked with Dean to trim a large maple away from my home. He came out within hours of my call, standing in the rain to take a look at the project. His estimate was fair and the work was completed within a week.

The work itself was done under-budget. The site was perfectly clean afterwards. I also appreciate the "surgical" trimming to avoid losing too much aesthetic appeal.

I’ve used Tangeman a couple of times over the years to trim large established trees and remove scrub/dead bushes. Dean is very knowledgeable and listens to concerns. He is fair in his recommendations and I don’t feel like he pushes to do more than what is needed just to make an extra buck. His communication has always been prompt and reliable. He and his crew do great work, clean up afterwards and are considerate of the other foliage on my property. I will continue to use Tangeman for my tree care.

These are the qualities that make Dean Tangeman Tree Service LLC a superior company. Dean and Don took down several dead (and a couple scrub) trees for us recently. They also trimmed back our huge mulberry. Throughout the process, we were amazed at their surgical precision, efficiency, and work ethic. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I called for a quote on tree removal, and Dean was out the same day. He saw what he was up against and knew the type of tree on sight. It was a very reasonable price since he was a climber and in my opinion a much harder job. I had an email quote the same day, and he did the job a day after approval. It was cool to watch them work as they roped into the tree and dropped sections by additional ropes. They even had time to take care of another tree that I thought about after they were on site. Would definitely recommend..

I had a mature ash tree that unfortunately had to come down (EAB) in my somewhat tight yard, and Dean removed it safely and efficiently. His quote was fair and even very competitive with another that I received, and he showed up when he said he would. The rope/climbing/cutting skills he and his co-worker exhibited were very impressive, and they were very safety conscious throughout, coordinating each move, drop, etc. Cleanup was fastidious. Dean is a very knowledgeable arborist and gave me good advice for replacement trees. Highly recommended service.

We've had Rooted Tree Care take care of several jobs out at our farm, including diagnosing the health of our trees and removing unwanted shrubs and baby trees that planted themselves. We have already scheduled to have them prune our fruit trees this year, and treat them next spring for better health and production.
