This summer we had Schonheit Gardens create two large, perennial beds at our new home. We chose this company after driving by some of their prior landscaping projects, giving us the assurance that Schonheit Gardens was the best choice for our job. If you are looking for a landscape company that is knowledgeable, creative, able to select perennials with seasonal interest, varied textures and complimentary colors, you will be so pleased with Schonheit Gardens. Without reservation we can recommend them and plan to use them for additional projects we have planned in the future.

We were looking for a local place to update the landscaping on our first home, and I couldn’t be happier with this company! We had compliments from both of our next door neighbors and one asked for a reference. Joyce in particular is a joy to work with! I highly recommend asking for her. She is quick to respond and answers questions long after the work is done, which is super helpful for me being new to caring for landscaping. She helped break down the process for us to complete in stages over a few years to help us conquer the cost. They guarantee their plants and when they had to reschedule were very clear on why and when they would be back.

The selection is very impressive, the quality of the plants is fantastic, the setting is beautiful & the staff is very knowledgeable & helpful! If they don't have what you need they will likely be able to order it, or tell you when they'll be getting that item in stock. Overall, a pretty great nursery!

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The amount of plants out for sale was a little sparse, but we came at the end of the planting season. The plants that were still out looked healthy and they are well laid out to provide any garderner what they need. I'm sure that they are well stocked during the peak of the season.

Selling plants seemed like an afterthought for this business, how hard is it to make the prices clearly marked and visible. Staff didn't know plant names.

Our design consultant, Emmy titcombe, was fantastic to work with. She communicated every step in a timely fashion, responded quickly to all telephone and e-mail messages, was efficient and professional. She made me feel valued as a customer. This was a great experience!

I needed a redesign of landscaping. Staff from Schoenheit came up with a great plan which included digging out and replacing old shrubs, and planting shrubs and pernnials in parts of the beds where nothing had been planted previously. I'm very pleased with the outcome!

I am very disappointed with my service at Schonheit. I have complained as well to the company. I had an expensive landscaping project but the landscaper did not share with me what would be planted despite my frequent emails to ask this. I had already paid a deposit. The plantings they did were cheap and are struggling despite watering. They did give me a gift card because of the numerous issues. Just be careful

I love this place! A hidden gem. Super healthy and hardy stock. Great selection of annuals and perennials as well as rare and unusual houseplants. A wide variety of unique and affordable pots of all sizes. Great service as well as a fun rural drive into picturesque countryside. So happy I found a new fun place for all of my plant shopping needs.

We were thrilled with the work that Schönheit Gardens did for us at our home in the Fall of 2022! Their entire team was extremely professional, patient, friendly, and very talented at all aspects of the landscaping and hardscaping installation process. They were also able to bury our downspouts while they were working on the rest of our project, which was an added bonus! Kate and Kelly were especially great and we appreciated them keeping us updated on the progress of our landscaping project from start-to-finish. Schönheit Gardens completed both landscaping and hardscaping in our back and front yards. We love the new patio that they added to our backyard and look forward to planting vegetables in our new garden very soon. Big thanks to the team at Schönheit! We highly recommend them and are very happy with their work.

This place is amazing! Loretta was fantastic today helping me pick out what works best for my house. She showed me many options and explained pros and cons for each as well as her opinions. Will definitely come back for any other gardening needs.

The crew at Schonheit is awesome to work with! They did a beautiful job of redoing and expanding the landscaping around our entire house. Kayla is very knowledgeable and super easy to communicate with! I highly recommend them!

The removal and installation of new shrubs was excellent. The cleanup after the work was done was much more than expected. Leader provided directions for watering the new shrubs.

The trimming crew did an excellent job and their cleanup with good.

The crew leader communication with the crew and me was outstanding, excellent leadership skills with both crews.

We had a wonderful experience with Schonheit. We worked with Kate. She developed a beautiful and interesting plant design for our front landscaping. She asked good questions and took our interests and desires into consideration. She came back with some plants and trees that are uncommon but perfect for our space. We no longer have landscaping that looks like everyone else. The tear out of old landscape was quick and professional. The installation of new material this spring was also professionally done with a team of workers and a lead. Kate did a wonderful job of plant placement. The team worked efficiently and went above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend working with Kate to design your landscape and Schonheit to provide exceptional plants and services. Worth every penny.

We have had beautiful hardscape and landscaping work done for us two years in a row. The high quality plants and shrubs that were installed look amazing. The crews that worked on our yard were very pleasant and efficient. This is a great company and we highly recommend them.

A nice compact nursery with a great selection of perennials and annuals. I can't comment on the bushes or trees because I don't browse through them. I must commend their design team for the great work they do on the downtown Hampton Inn's planters. Just an enjoyable business with great employees.

Even though I went mid April so they didn't have much for stock yet. I found everyone so helpful and friendly. I was actually able to find what I was looking for. I will definitely go back.

Recently, the staff at Schonheit Gardens reworked a large perennial bed in my back yard. Ian, the designer and project manager, was an amazing person to work with. He and I met a number of times prior to the installation to discuss what I had in mind for the redesign, and he also shared suggestions and ideas. I was so pleased with his willingness to take my own wishes and ideas into consideration while creating his design. The planting crew was diligent, professional and focused, even in the very hot temps. My new plantings are healthy and vigorous. When the planting was complete, the crew cleaned up the surrounding area and removed all brush, etc. The result is a new perennial area that I am very pleased with now as I look forward to how it will fill in over the seasons. I highly recommend Schonheit Gardens and Ian. I will be calling them again for my future projects.

What a wonderful job this crew does. Really respects the client and knows plants. It is important to me to create and maintain a native and sustainable environment in my yard and Schonheit totally gets it. I can’t recommend more highly.
