Great selection of native plants!

The staff a little young which lead to not knowing certain things and just saying we don't have it when they actually did.

Definitely the place for good leaf mulch. Buy bags of it and return the bags for a dollar. This is what gets me out there.

Beautiful spring annual and bulbs are in now the first day open. 🌷🌷🌷

While Schoenheit did a good job of “Clean up’( Spring and Fall-) they charged accordingly, and then fell down significantly with further work, such as plantings and regrading a small part of our yard.

I have had great results with every plant I've purchased. They're a step above in quality, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I recommend this place to everyone.

Decent nursery with a fairly wide selection of flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and some trees. They also have a small selection of pots and planters and dirt and mulch. It's not a huge place, though, so they won't have *everything*. Nice staff, plus an old, friendly dog and a sweet kitty wandering around.

I have called multiple times, left messages. No call back until 2 weeks after I quit calling. I was promised that someone would call to setup an appointment to do an estimate. Of course no one called back. No one actually answers the phone, no one does what they say they will. I’d give zero stars if it were an option. If you are too busy to do my project, be honest enough to say that. Leaving people hanging is completely unprofessional.

This review pertains to the landscape services not the nursery part of Schonheit Gardens and Landscaping, Inc.. As we live only a few miles from Schonheit, we stopped by several months ago to get a quote on some landscaping (bedwork) and removal of one large tree. We were told they would not be able to start the project until sometime in July which was fine with us. It took two weeks for someone to come out and look at the property (they missed the first Friday appointment and had to reschedule). Everything was laid out in detail and we were told they may be back with another person to go over the project. Nobody ever came back. We were also told we would have a quote in a short time. After several weeks and several phone calls we were promised a quote by Friday of that week (over a month since we stopped). We have yet to receive a quote, a phone call as to what's happening, nothing. We are no longer waiting. The large tree is gone along with the stump. The area has been seeded. We have a quote from another landscaper along with a timeline as to when the project will start and what to expect. Schonheit has put us months behind on our landscaping projects. We met the owners and were one of their first customers when they first opened. I am amazed that this is how they do (or don't do business)! I will not do business with them ever again and will not recommend them.

My husband and I were referred to Susie Drahos Froehle at Schonheit Gardens by our landscape architect last fall. We have been so impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, passion and project management skills. In just a few minutes of talking with Susie, it's clear that she really knows her stuff and truly loves what she does. Her crew did a beautiful job with the hardscaping of our yard last fall; they were timely, courteous and precise. She has been an invaluable resource in helping us finalize our plant selections and it's obvious that she puts much consideration into the needs and goals of her clients to give thoughtful recommendations. I would not hesitate to recommend Susie to anyone.

Megan was such great help to me, as I am a newby to Wisconsin. She answered all my questions and helped me pick out the perfect plants for specific sites I had in mind! The plants were beautiful and her knowledge was so appreciated. Thank you!

The re-design of the backyard was exactly what we wanted. The project was delayed in the spring for rain but when the work was scheduled Christine joined the crew of 6 and the job was complete in a few hours.

We have our own world now in our sunroom surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were so pleased we've asked Christine to come back and re-design our south garden which has unique challenges of being shaded and up a slop which we've asked her to terrace.

Purchased expensive bush in the autumn of 2024. Unfortunately, it didn't make it thru the mildest winter that I ever have witnessed in Wisconsin.

Love this local small nursery business. Lots of varieties of shrubs and trees that will grow well in this area. They won't carry stuff that doesn't do well in our soil unlike Home Depot Walmart etc. You get what you pay for! They are very knowledgeable and
