We've been working with Alt's now for several years. We're happy with the service and have seen good results on our lawn. What we find exceptional is the timely and thoughtful response we receive whenever we bring a question or problem to their attention. For me the measure of a business is customer service - how do they respond to questions, requests for additional service, and problems. Alt's has always been there for us!

This review is about a driver in a truck with the Alt's logo.
Yesterday afternoon as I was commuting to work via bike. A man driving a truck on main street (Sun Prairie) with an Alt's Operation logo drove passed me aggressively while honking. This is dangerous behavior. My hope going forward, is that Alt's will inform their drivers that they must share the road safely and patiently.
I am a local small business owner that often commutes with a heavy trailer to and from my job sites. I would like to do so with confidence that I will be safe from aggression from drivers.

I couldn’t be happier with the landscaping design and work done by Alt’s Operation. Kevin Smits came up with plans to relandscape 3 areas of my boulder walls due to problems that I was having with drainage and stability. He presented 2 options for materials that could be used, and explained the benefits of each. He maintained great communications throughout the work process. The work crew was friendly and amazingly skilled. They demonstrated a great understanding of how to proceed with the plan and communicated well with each other as well as with me. I highly recommend them to anyone with landscaping needs.

We have been using Alt for snow removal and yard clean up for several years. They are very reliable and provide great communication. I highly recommend them.

We do the six step fertilizer program and Mike Mosso did an excellent job once again this 2025 season.

ALT does our property plowing and landscape management. They are very responsive to feedback, and collaborate well with property owners. Recently, ALT mowed our rain gardens. It was very well done. Amy the office manager is so helpful with any questions or concerns. Tyler, Nick and Mike are very good to work with. Overall very happy with the work ALT does for us.

Residential sidewalk and drive were cleared in a reasonable time frame after snowfall. Was kept informed about if and when clearing would occur. Was disappointed that Alt's does not automatically clear the end of the drive after the plows have come through. It was one of the main reasons I wanted a professional service. Fortunately we had an easy winter and I was still able to do it myself.

Great service, I have used Alt a few times over the years and they have been great to work with!

I've been using Alt's for about 5 years now for my snow removal needs at my childcare center (Cultured Kids on Vilas Avenue). They have done a phenomenal job. Last year they let me sign a 3-year service agreement with set pricing and I jumped at the chance to lock them in as a vendor partner. They have proven to be impeccably reliable.

Really great lawn care and snow removal services. They communicate ahead of time about when they’re sending snow removal crews out so you never need to worry. They only salt when it’s needed, not when they just feel like charging customers (we experienced this with another company and it was really frustrating). They also let you know when they are skipping mowing for a week when the grass didn’t grow enough because of a dry spell. Overall, great work and huge value. Would give six stars if it was an option!

I appreciate the Office Manager, Amy Gotzion who always went above and beyond her time to help us out with the snow removals and understood our situation.
