I wish I could give them a good rating. I am giving them 2 stars because they did a good job removing a tree. Where the problem lies is trimming a tree from my utility lines. They must have had a beginner because within 3 months the tree was all mixed in the lines again. Any experienced arborist would know to trim such that new growth does not grow back where you removed it from. Their solution was to come back and give me another proposal and pay more money. Not acceptable in my estimation.

I understand your response, although it would be fair to say when you have someone come and give an estimate to someone looking to trim branches from a wire, it should be articulated to them then that it will need to be done again within a few months. Which makes the idea of trimming absurd. There is a way to trim for lasting effects. Your company did not do that.

Jim was great !! He was thorough when he looked at my trees, shared knowledge and explained what he would do and then did what he said he would do. He left no mess, I totally enjoyed him and was pleased with the results.

My husband and I had a large silver maple removed in our back yard so we can do some excavating for a basement patio door. The crew that came were super respectful, fast, safe and over delivered. I had asked them to leave the wood chips for the ground up tree and stump on site as I wanted to spread them on our project area to reduce the mud the dogs would bring in the house until we can complete the whole back yard project. Not only did they do what I asked they chipped some additional logs I had in the backyard and emptied they trailer of wood chips they had with them. Everyone has been amazing to work with.

I couldn’t be happier with the crew at HH Accurate Arborists! From start to finish, the whole process was smooth, and everyone I worked with was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. They kept me informed every step of the way, did a thorough cleanup (it was like they were never even there) and even brought my garbage cans up to the garage! That kind of service really stands out. I highly recommend HH Accurate Arborists! You won’t be disappointed.

I had a lot of problems with communication and getting bad information, including:
• I called to complain about the stump grinding rework they did and they said they would send someone back again. A week went by of clear weather and I called them to check on the status to find out they would not be sending someone back. This is absolutely unacceptable.
• I had asked for an update on when they would be able to get back out to do the initial stump grinding rework and they said they would come as soon as they were able. Well, it turns out they had already come back and did the rework at that point and I didn’t find that out until I received the paper invoice via snail mail a few days later. They couldn’t even bother to look up the status of my job to know that someone had already done the rework when I asked for an update.
• I was told after the rework of the stump grinding that that was the best they could do due to limitations of the stump grinder and the site of the stump, but, lo and behold, when they came back to do the rework a second time after Mike had gotten involved, they were able to grind everything out that I had been complaining about and more.

My issue had been with their stump grinding. I wanted to replant a tree there so they said they’d go extra deep and doubled the initial stump grinding estimate they had provided, which I agreed to. My complaint was that they didn’t grind the entire stump down deep; they left it in the bowl shape where the center was indeed ground down deeply, but the edges of the stump, as you can see from the picture, were not. It was really quite difficult to get this resolved and took about 3 weeks and required getting the owner involved. The issue was quickly resolved to more than my satisfaction once the owner was involved, but while I am happy with the final outcome, my overall experience with Accurate was poor.

The crew was thorough and did a great job cleaning up. Work completed as requested. Very satisfied. Highly recommend

This would have been 5 stars but I felt another branch was hanging over my neighbor’s driveway and when they came to say they finished, I asked for that branch to be removed. I was told no. For the price, this could have been done. All the people involved though were professional and nice.

I have used H&H arborists for some years now. They are very professional and do an outstanding job. They have taken care of my large elm trees with emerald ash borer treatment and also pruning. I highly recommend them. I think they will be cabling my elm tree soon as there is a large crack in it.

I had these guys back to trim 2 silver maples and take down a huge poplar that was very close the house. They worked through harsh winter conditions and made sure we were happy with the work!

I was calling around Dane County getting quotes for Emerald Ash Bore treatment. Three companies gave me an estimate on How much it would cost per inch to Treat some trees. I called this place. Ask them for an estimate. They then told me they couldn’t do that Without coming out to measure the trees or providing them with measurements. And then called back with my measurements and was met with a little bit of rudeness and was told to email the measurements. I then emailed my measurements for an estimate And didn’t hear anything for a week. I then called and asked about my email and they said we’ll call you back. Here I am two weeks later without any contact. I would not recommend going to a place like this as the business tactics seem shady. If you can’t even discuss what your estimates are going to be then why bother? There are places in Madison charging nine dollars an inch for EAB treatment. Look around and do your homework. Don’t go to this company.

I have to split my review up into two categories, the actual crew that came out, and the office scheduling. The crew was great, the office scheduling and communication was terrible.

The stump was on my Dad's place and he has some dementia. I felt that someone needed to be there during the grinding because he gets confused by commotion or when things are out of the ordinary.

The bidding went fine. The estimator showed up when he said he would. I accepted the bid and was told I would be contacted by the scheduling in 2 to 5 days. About a week goes by, no call back so I call them on Tuesday. I'm told they need to have a utility locate done and would be out there on either Monday or Tuesday. (I couldn't make it out there on Monday but my brother was able cover instead). Nothing happens Monday, I call Tuesday morning and was told they'll be out there Wednesday instead. I called Wednesday morning they said they'll out there Friday morning at 9:00am instead. I'm out there Friday morning around 8:30am. About 10:30 I call to see where they are. They said they would give me a call back after they talk to the crew. No call back, so I call again around noon. I'm told the crew had an 'emergency' but I'm the next job. (I wasn't told what kind of stump grinding 'emergency' it was.) I was told they should be there in a 1/2 hour. They finally show up an hour later around 1pm. The crew had no idea they were supposed to be there at 9am. This was really very poor communication on the office peoples part.

So, if you don't need to be there when the service is actually performed, go for it. The crew was professional, courteous, conscientious and did a great job. If you plan on juggling your schedule around so you can be there, think twice before using these guys.

9/4/2025 - I added a star to my previous review. Full disclosure, when received the final invoice for the work (after my original review) there was a $100 credit on the bill for the scheduling inconveniences. It was not something I expected or asked for. Thanks guys.

Team members are always professional and quick in completing their tasks. Have used them for 5+ years with excellent results. Complete confidence in their recommendations. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

Easy to work with. HH Arborists actually responded to emails and phone calls promptly. Arrived on time for scheduled work. Crew was nice, and did a good clean up.

I was very disappointed with the quality of work and care taken for our property. When I met with the sales rep, he indicated the stump grinding would go below the grade of the land so drainage would flow away from the house, and that the company would lay boards to protect my lawn from damage by the heavy machinery (the latter I received in writing). Neither condition was met. Both issues were brought to the company via email and with supporting pictures, and they did nothing to rectify the situation, other than throwing a small amount of seed out on about 1/4 of the damaged area. We have had to take on significant work to attempt to repair the damage and will have to hire someone to re-grind the stump below grade. Additionally, a fair amount of the damage was to our neighbor’s lawn, which should never have happened.
They did trim a limb of a different tree, and that seemed to go fine.

Nick, Bemis, Abraham, Jordan were so great! I watched all day in awe. Hard and dangerous work done so professionally… attending to detail and with joy! Thorough clean up job as well. Wow. This crew deserves a nice bonus or a big raise. You don’t want to loose them!!! Thanks soooo much🥰

Zerorez. Is a must do company for your carpets!! Matt was phenomenal at finding and cleaning every stain I had in the carpet. My carpet came back to life. I love how fluffy and clean it looks! Thank you for a job well done❤️
