Not good

I am very disappointed in Hawk's. I have contacted then numerous times to give us an estimate on our landscaping needs, talked to staff members who promise I will get a call back and nothing happens. Very poor customer service.

Great professional service! Amazing people!

We have used Hawk's for the past 5 years and they have been terrific!!!! Our property always looks fantastic. They are always on time and the workers are very customer friendly.

We had our landscaping recently redone by Hawks and are thrilled with the results. Viri & the crew did a great job.

In July 2021, I had landscaping done in my backyard. New plantings were added and the area mulched. I followed every direction on the watering
and care of my new plants. Some did not survive...They have since replaced the plants to my liking.

Poor selection of plants. Perennials didn't make it to the next year. Bushes extremely woody....reused from another removal job? Design did not disguise unattractive elements as asked. Whatever didn't die the next year was pulled out due to its unattractive growth and position. Very poor planning and unskilled, amateur design. You are not getting the "landscape designers" you hear good things about at this price. You are getting amateurs at best. Waste of money. Did it myself anyway. Never again.

Sales representative was not completely forward about the the length of the contract.
Very hard to get a hold of a customer service. You get a notice about next day upcoming appointment in the afternoon. That makes it hard to reschedule.
Hard to just stop the service going forward. You have to call them. Emails are not enough.
Technicians are fine, but because they seems to be in a hurry sometimes the driveway will have leftover fertilizer.

We have worked with Gary and Hawk’s over many years and we are appreciative of all he and Hawks have done for us. He is punctual, knowledgeable and ensures quality work is done to our satisfaction.

I first contacted Hawks in March 2020 for several jobs on my property. This person needed to reschedule so it was then scheduled for April. The salesperson did not come - I called and was told she had an accident (understandable) and rescheduled. This time it was either end of April beginning of May. The person finally came, seemed very competent, was told I would be "at the top of the list" and she would make it up to me for the inconvenience of all the rescheduling. I expected a quote within 2 weeks. Nothng. I called and was told the estimator was a week and a half behind. Today is July 11th and have never heard back. By the time I heard there was another week and half wait for a quote, I then started looking for other quotes. Unfortunately, everyone now is busy and I lost this time. Hawks used to be so good and so professional, and I will never ever call them again.

Hawks has done both a large landscaping job on our property and continued maintenance and they are the best. High quality work done by the best people! Highly recommend them!

Hawks landscaping has been wonderful for all my landscaping needs. Jake Bowen was great to work with and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get started with a landscaping service or who needs something better.

Hawkes estimate is twice theirs with a fake offer of taking 50% of the cost!

offering To redo work after only 4 years & after overcharging us 15000$ for pervious inferior work done

We had a very good experience with Hawks Landscape. The landscaped our new backyard - buried sump pump line, planted all the flower beds & mulched, leveled and planted a new lawn, removed old concrete slabs and piles of stones and removed about 7 tree stumps - all for a reasonable price. Everything looks great!

Hawks has done my landscaping for the past thirty years at three different properties in Brookfield. Outstanding designs to meet and exceed our stated objectives. Landscape designers always extremely responsive to our vision and concerns. Landscape crew chiefs responsive to our (and our neighbors') concerns. Always left the property neat and tidy during and at the completion of each project. Work done as promised and when promised. Never additional unexpected surcharges. Have always exceeded our very high expectations. Most recent project required approval of and coordination with our condominium association, which commented on Hawks' (Gary Urban's) knowledge of plants and landscape issues, as well as his responsiveness and receptiveness to the Association's concerns. Would unqualifiedly recommend Gary Urban and Hawks Landscape to anyone seeking to enhance (or maintain) their property!

If I could give zero stars, I would! I chose Hawk’s because I remember my parents doing lots business with this company for many years of my childhood. Clearly, the service isn’t the same.

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service and response to requests for updates. My lawn treatment services began well but began to fall off early summer. I reached out to my salesperson with questions regarding a schedule as I noticed my lawn was not being treated as noted in my contract. I was told there were staffing issues, which I understood given COVID-19. But then I started receiving invoices for services not completed! When I reached out in August, I was told he would check on it and get back to me to which I have not had any updates (it is now December). I have sent follow up requests to which no response has been received yet more invoices have been received (for services not rendered). I work from home and my office sits at the front of my home facing my front yard. For each of the months I was billed when no services were completed there were no signs placed in my yard or carbon copy notices placed at my door showing work completed as normal. Not to mention the poor seeding job that was done in my front yard and the fact that I to request someone to return and seed the backyard as I watched the young man half seed my front yard and leave without attempting to look at the back yard.
I would never recommend this company for any services nor would I give them another chance! Please note, all invoices I received were paid (even for the services not completed).

Outstanding work on our driveway rockwall and front yard seeding. We love the result! Working with Michael Claar was a pleasure and the landscapers were pros. I’ve trusted Hawks before and hope to have them back in the future. Couldn’t be happier with the experience!

Needed help repairing a paver sidewalk...pavers were very old and no longer available. Gary offered a very creative solution to our problem. I've always had good experiences with Hawks.

We used the team at Hawks for a landscaping design project. It turned out amazing and exceeded our expectations. They were great to work with and extremely professional. If you are looking for a landscape company to work with that will meet your needs, then Gary and his team are the ones for you!

Austin and Sam did a terrific job when installing 6 beautiful emerald arbor vitae in a challenging space. They were easy to work with, cleaned up the area when done, and were attentive to our preferences. We were very happy with the project.
