Working with Elliott Land Management was a pleasure from start to finish. Chase walked me through all the options for my outdoor kitchen and backyard, and helped me to design and build the outdoor space of my dreams! His crew was respectful and clean, and I would recommend the ELM services to anyone looking to have their outdoor area updated, from small to large projects!

We had a rock garden installed on some challenging terrain and the result is nothing short of spectacular! The attention to detail makes such a difference. There were no shortcuts and the results are more beautiful than I could have imagined. Everything I requested was completed with such care and Brick's pathway design makes the project really shine. Plus, they worked so swiftly and cleaned up very thoroughly when the work was complete. I highly recommend this company.

After seeing several of our neighbors have landscape lighting installed by Elliott Land Management, we contacted them to give us a quote. Owner, Chase Elliott, met with us and created a beautiful landscape lighting design for our home. Within a week his team did an incredible job installing the lights. The lighting design he created lit up different architectural features that we had never noticed before and made the outside of our home feel brand new to us! We cannot recommend Elliott Land Management enough for all your outdoor lighting needs!

I am absolutely thrilled with the transformation! Elliott Land Management cleared out an overgrown, neglected mess in my backyard. They were professional, efficient, and thorough, removing all debris and leaving the space immaculate. The crew went above and beyond, ensuring that the areas were left clean as well providing erosion control. Highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.

Guy charged me out of pocket $300 and only cut 3/4 of my yard. Then that app charged me for 2 days didn't even show up, in order for him to cut the last 1/4 of the yard remaining, he told me it would be a additional $250. He bought two pish mowers and made something up about saying the guy with the riding lawnmower will let him borrow it to cut my yard if I paid him $250, I found someone after a week later who cute my whole yard for $150. He has his own business and I'll use him from now own. Lawn Starter was a waist of time and money. Would not recommend.

It's a good system. I think they still have a couple kinks to work through that could make it slightly easier to use, but they have recently included more options with scheduling, like allowing for a monthly mow. Overall a good experience. I think the lawn usually looks better after they mow and clean up edges than how it's ever looked when one of us did it.

Do not use this service. If possible, I would give no stars. The original crew did not show up, a new crew was assigned almost a week later, and now the company is trying to charge a long grass fee. The job was marked as completed by the crew but they did not cut the backyard, and the front yard they did cut, was done terribly. The crew uploaded pictures to validate the “long grass report” and some of the pics were not even my property. This company is not worth the time required to have a terrible, delayed yard service.

THEIR WORKERS HAVE BEEN TRESPASSING ON OUR PROPERTY FOR WEEKS AND HAVE CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGES OVER $200

We did not feel comfortable while we were signing up for this service. Something seemed off - sketchy. But we did anyway, against our better judgement. We waited a few weeks and then someone showed up at our house completely unannounced at 7AM trying to do a quote for us. We sent him away and immediately cancelled our service through the app. (We were charged for a cutting.)

Apparently the app wasn't working properly because they sent someone out again a week or so later. This person also showed up completely unannounced, and we sent him away as well (again, we were charged for a service).

At least those two lawn care technicians had knocked on our door. The THIRD PERSON (again we had cancelled through he app, and we also told the 2nd person they sent out to cancel our service) didn't knock on the door and instead started cutting our lawn without permission.

When we originally talked to the company, we explained that no one was to be in the front yard where my vegetable garden and other projects are. We specified that mowers should only access the area beside the sidewalks and the back yard.

None of that information was communicated to the THIRD PERSON they sent out (seriously trespassing at this point since the company had been told multiple times at this point to stay away) so he began cutting where he wasn't supposed to and did over $200 worth of property damage to plants I had specially ordered from out of state as well as some prized plants my grandmother had given me and also fruits and vegetables that he mowed over with impunity.

I don't blame the individual. He shouldn't have been sent by LawnStarter in the first place, and even if they did send him by mistake, he should have had the information we provided them to prevent this exact scenario from playing out.

It's also worth mentioning that all three of these lawn care specialists were also upset with LawnStarter, decrying their lack of communication.

Now we've been charged THREE TIMES for a service we cancelled before anyone ever started - a service that has only been performed once and resulted in over $200 worth of property damage.

I filled out a property damage report including photos and receipts, and I spoke directly to customer service who assured me someone would reach out in 24 hours, and it's been almost 3 days.

I inquired about getting my yard cut. Long story short, they only contract people out who use push mowers and don’t cut over 1 acre. My yard is nearly 2. After clearing that up they continue to spam text me offering me half off even though my yard isn’t able to be cut by them. I can’t get it to stop. The final straw....they call me at 9pm and wake me up just as I had fallen to sleep and am now leaving this review at 9:05pm. This business is extremely unprofessional, inconsiderate, and useless to me yet continue to harass me. If they work well for you, good. If you don’t actually plan to use them don’t contact them or you’ll never get rid of them.

I don't recommend this company at all. I set up my first appointment, no one showed up. Then the company had the nerve to completely cancel my service. So I called to figure out what happened and they told me that no one accepted the job so I could reschedule for the following week. I rescheduled, STILL NO SHOW. And they canceled my service yet again. Finding a better company!!!!

LawnStarter. Is a company that provides quality work. I highly recommend this company based on the services that I received. Patrick did an excellent job in doing my yard cleanup and mowing of the grass. Oh yeah, I am especially thankful that their prices are affordable. I signed up for the maintance plan to keep mowing my grass every two weeks.
Added. Unfortunately this company didn't live up to expectations To mow my yard every two weeks. They just kept rescheduling. Just moved on to someone else.

I am sorry to say this, and I rarely post negative reviews, but I don't want anyone else to have trouble with this company. Initially, we were pleased with the service, and we were quoted lower prices. In the last two months, we have been billed for services 3 separate times when our cuts were not even done. Given the pandemic, we've been home and will see our app say that someone came by, when no one truly came and performed the lawn mowing. We have called the company and asked to send someone soon, because we are having pictures taken of our house to sell, and we have been promised one thing and seen the other. We have moved our house pictures two separate times. I went ahead and canceled my services today, because I just can't trust the company. The worst aspect of this is the woman on the phone today had no remorse, and she didn't seem to care she was losing a customer. In the future, I've learned my lesson. I will choose someone who may charge more but is dependable. Please, don't go with these services.

My lawn looks like a lawn now. The operators always show up on time. They also keep me updated if rescheduling is need. So far so good!

I don't know why service would be so much better for 5 people than it was for me. The crew didn't bother to show up and I had to tell them that. No one contacted me. Then the second crew quit after one mow. Then they sent a third crew to mow a week early. I don't know what a "trust and safety fee" is, but it's on my bill. Be prepared to pay double for grass over 6 inches. I do NOT recommend this company.

Great app, and easy to use. Very quickly received fair pricing and had a service lined up within hours. On the second visit the contractor could not complete the job because of a torrential rain and he was able to communicate with me via the app to let me know he would be back first thing the next morning. As promised he finished up the next day. Highly recommend.
