We had a hearthstone Clydesdale insert installed in our fireplace in Birmingham several years back, and have had it cleaned every year by this chimney sweep company. The stove not only looked great, but it kept most of our home warm and cozy, which is especially nice in our Alabama heat when we want a comfortable atmosphere inside. We really enjoyed having the stove. Now that we've moved, we hope to call on them again in the future. Everyone we've interacted with, like Eric and Johnathan, was very friendly and professional. I have never used their services, but I was on Hwy 9 going towards Piedmont, AL on 3/13/26 and one of their vans backed out right directly in front of me. There was no traffic in front of me or meeting me and he chose to almost cause an accident. I have the number of the van, but I won't post it on here.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. My unit is not working, they won’t come out and fix it and after speaking with another technician I was told this unit was never installed correctly. It was a complete waste of $6700. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Beyond Horrible experience with this company. It took 6 weeks for repairman to come out then didn’t fix it either. I was without a fridge for 2 months. Had to call another repair service to get it working

My home warranty company contacted A&E for my AC repair back in May 2021. A&E stated they needed to order a part. It is now July 2021 they still do not have the part and they will not answer any phone calls. The is the worst service, I would rate them as -0 if I could.

This contractor wrote NSF checks in excess of $2500 to my business and has been contacted on multiple occasions to correct this. The matter is now over 6 months old, a clear sign of the lack of professionalism this company operates with. Be advised of whom you are dealing with before allowing them into your home.

ZERO stars for this company. I have had 9 visits to repair my microwave. It is not working. I paid over $2000 for this GE Advantium microwave and the only function currently working is an over the stove light. More replacement parts have been ordered and 4 of 5 have been received but they won't schedule until all parts are here - and they cannot give me a date. Sooooo frustrated right now.

I’ve used A&E twice and Mr. Blanchard, Marie, and crew provided great customer service the first time. They replaced a used upstairs unit that a previous contractor installed with a new unit. They even provided me with the warranty paperwork. This was at the height of the pandemic. I was given a discount through AHS to replace the unit. I even referred him to my neighbors, who also used him.
