A recent spat of cooler air prompted a call for some heat in the condo. Coastal Alabama Cooling had recently completed a maintenance visit so I contacted them with my concern. Luke quickly responded via text and scheduled a follow up appointment. Their focus was on the thermostat and not the heat pump and they were right. The Nest had somehow lost the Heat Mode start up. They tried rebooting the app, then removing it and reconfigured. Like most things digital and wifi it pays to shut off and restart when things go awry. Another great response by Luke and Rodger!

This is a small company with an exceptional service and fair pricing! They helped us out and completely replaced our obsolete and failing HVAC system on our rental property with just a 2 day notice on a Memorial weekend Sunday in between guest check-out and check-in. Seriously though, Richard came through for us in a big way when we needed it. Our heat pump was suffering from a bit of neglect and needed to be replaced. Richard managed to give me a quote that was within my budget and said he could install it within a few days.

Well, he is a man of his word and a couple of days later we had a better unit and a better hi-tech thermostat for a reasonable amount of money. They got here, got to work, did the work and cleaned up after themselves, so it was no inconvenience at all for us. The air scrubbers made my wife happy, and the free year of maintenance was the icing on the cake.

I highly recommend Richard and his crew (hey Luke!) for any of your heating and A/C needs.

Have used Coastal Alabama Cooling for quite some time now. They perform all of our HVAC system maintenance (both main unit and mini split). They have installed an electronic air filtration system and have now installed additional blown in insulation in our attic. They recommended that we do this some time ago, but I waited until the hottest month of the year, when my AC was not able to keep up this summer's 98+ deg weather to finally call and ask them if they could help. These folks worked us into their schedule and came to our house to reseal our ducts and blow added insulation in our attic in August without any complaints. They have always been very courteous and professional, and their pricing has always been fair. I would highly recommend these folks for any HVAC needs

Luke and Richard both came to my home and were knowledgeable, professional and helpful.

I came home to the AC being out. After an hour of dealing with a hot house and 2 cranky kids I decided to call around. I happened on coastal Alabama cooling and I'm glad I did. Reggie answered and said someone would be out in a few hours. About an hour later Luke showed up. They were ahead of schedule and I definitely wasn't complaining. He brought in a couple portable units to get the house comfortable while they worked on the unit. 2 other guys showed up and they got to work, my 3 year old son was interested and the guys working were nice and friendly to him. Anyways they got it fixed in an hour or 2 and made sure it was working well before they finished up. I highly recommend this company, they were honest and fixed the problem, happy kids happy dad!
