Our doorbell/intercom has not worked for several months. Called HES and they sent their technican (Steven). He quickly diagnosed and identified the problem and then fixed it to our satisfaction and at a reasonable cost too. It is so good to have our intercom working again. I definitely would use HES again.

These guys are all hard workers. I hired a horrible contractor that did more damage than good and dealt with many electrical subcontractors that were a nightmare. After my contractor left me high and dry I found this company online with excellent reviews. They’ve been to my house a dozen of times or so for rough in and relocating a sub panel. They have addressed everything I asked for and just finished installing the final fixtures. Everything works great and looks even better. All of the guys that came in and out of my house were professional and courteous. I will will definitely use them for all my future electrical projects.

Added three new breakers and service lines to crawl space. Extremely responsive to my request, came out to bid job same day and performed work next day. Neat and accurate workmanship. Recommended!

I called Huntsville Electrical Services out after I had a large wall removed, to figure out how to get my lights working again. It was an impossible problem, they had to work in a hundred year old house with old wiring, a tiny attic, an even tinier crawlspace, and with walls made of plaster, wood, and mortar. I am absolutely amazed that they were able to come up with a solution, worked quickly to fix it, and even found some old wiring laying on insulation in my kids room that could have caused a fire and fixed it. Most electricians would have turned down this job, but Jason and his team absolutely blew me away. They figured out my complex issues, fixed them quickly, were very professional and reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend!

Get ready for this one. Called this company because our power periodically goes out. A bathroom fan and an outlet were not working as a result. Sometimes both work, then they don’t. In addition, one switch was wired wrong, but still worked (both switches worked when both were flipped on…not a huge deal but figured we might at well get it looked a while they were here). The switch was “fixed” meaning both switches (still) work, but one of them only works while in the “off” position. So again it was installed backwards. The outlet works…because he flipped the outlet breaker. Ya, we could have done that. He went to charge me, I said the fan still isn’t working. He acted like he forgot, then he made an attempt to fix it, then apologized and said he couldn’t so it’s still not working. So now I have to call a second electrician to actual fix these issues. Super disappointed. They also schedule to be here from 8-10 one day, never showed and never called. When I called at noon they said they couldn’t find the place. Ok well you didn’t call or email. Why did I give you all my information? If you were actually driving around looking for the place but never reached out, that gives me the feeling they just forget. Then they reschedule to show up the next day from 7-9. I spent a total of six hours waiting for this company, time I could have been working (or doing anything, really), and the job still isn’t done. Can you tell I am annoyed 🤣

Update: just got their reply, but only after they posted “beware” to my offer to take down this review if they’d cancel the bill…which was not a threat, or us trying to get free work done…more like a nice gesture as I know how negative reviews can impact a business. Now I’m honestly unsure if they still want to finish the job, if we owe them money, or what. Guess they already rescinded the offer? Should we have to pay when the issue wasn’t fixed? This has been the biggest waste of my time in dealing with any company 🤣 Note that all my other reviews are positive.

Huntsville Electrical Services is not only professional, but very courteous, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Their respect for our property was demonstrated by them removing their boots even before I asked when they were coming into the house. They had to cut the Sheetrock to complete the installation. Steve made a special trip to my house to bring Spackle to repair the Sheetrock. He said he would be back the next morning to sand the Spackle and touch-up the paint, an hour's drive for a 10 min job. It took 5 minutes to convince him that I did not mind doing it the next day. They take great pride in their workmanship.

I made an appointment for an estimate and was given a two hour window. I didn’t hear from anyone in that time, so a half hour after when the appointment window ended I called. The receptionist was very nice and said that she’d have the tech call me. When I hadn’t heard from him an additional 15 minutes later (this is 45 minutes after the appointment window ended) I called back and cancelled the appointment completely. Again the receptionist was very apologetic and offered to have him stop by another time. I declined the offer and won’t be calling them again.

HES recently came to replace my electrical panel and meter base. The guys were prompt, showing up almost exactly at 7:45, and working the whole day, stopping only once or twice due to some serious rain. They were very respectful and communicative during the entire process, keeping me updated on what was going on. They cleaned up after themselves incredibly well, even going so far as to sweep up the dust left on the bedroom floor. There were a few hiccups in the process, the refrigerator breaker was incorrectly hooked up, and so the refrigerator got fried; however, Randal (the owner) came by for a final walkthrough, and HES replaced our fridge for us before 2pm the next day. Additionally there was an issue with the AC unit being hooked up to 110 instead of 220, but as soon as we noticed the issue, they came by at 8am the next day and had the issue fixed at no additional cost. All in all, they did a good job, and even went so far as to hook up my wired video doorbell for me and replace its transformer, also at no additional cost.
All in all, I’m satisfied with my experience, even if it was more involved than I initially expected. I understand stuff happens! I appreciate the work done by the guys that came out, and the price was competitive and reasonable based on my research.

The crew did a great job communicating, planning, estimating, executing and final testing of relocating my router for better WiFi coverage on the property. I would highly recommend HES.

I called around for quotes for light replacement on the exterior of the home. They quoted me a price over the phone with the caveat they would have to determine the final price, once they could assess what really needed to be done. I appreciate they looked at one of the lights (going up on the ladder and removing the light), first, and then determined how long (approximately) it would take. They were efficient and budget-friendly with their quote and final price. So far, everything is working perfectly with the lighting installed. I would recommend HES for electrical work on your home.

Install conduit and wire for 22kw Generac generator with a 200A automatic transfer switch. The only issue was materials. They didn't have most of the materials, conduit, fittings, wire etc. This caused work delay as they took quite awhile get them. However once they got started they worked tirelessly to complete the work. Generator runs and supplies backup power to the whole house.

The service is good. Just it felt sort of rushed since they were called by my home warranty and didn't want to stay and provide support to the HSV utilities. I don't know but i guess they did the job called to do. Honestly I don't think I would call them for any work I do at my house. I was thinking of asking them to check out some power outlets on the back of my house but since the concern was to be done by 12 I didn't bother. I'll find another company to provide service. I only paid copayment since my home warranty covered the other cost.

Long story short, they are very nice folks but the quality of service was poor.

I needed power run to my crawlspace for a hot water tank, and I was told they would be at my home in the morning between 7:30 - 9:00. After 9:00 I called, and was told that the service window was 7:30 - 10:30. But even after that, no one showed up until a little after noon.

I had originally been told that they might need to cut a small hole in my garage wall (under a workbench) to route the cable, which was no problem. However, I ended up with a large (12" x 18") hole in a very prominent spot AND another large hole that had to be cut above my breaker box.

I understand that getting access into the wall can be necessary, but they did a pretty terrible job of patching it up (pictures attached). They even mud'ed over the top of the breaker box cover.

Lastly, in addition to the bad patch work, they had an additional hole (2" x 3") that they accidentally made when trying to drill holes from the crawlspace. The guy offered to come back and fix it, but at this point I was honestly tired of trying to workout time for someone to be home for them to return.

Like I said, fantastically nice people, but the drywall where they worked looks terrible.

Boat trips I've made here have been extremely Pleasant. The staff is excellent they work well with you and a very helpful. Definitely recommend these guys. They even gave my son a donut to which he was super excited.

Mr. Sparky always provides excellent service. Bailey took care of all the work in my home. He's polite and professional. Will definitely ask for him to take care my future electrical work.

The guys that they sent out know their business and were very helpful in finding the problem. They work is reasonably priced and I’ll use them again.
