HVAC reviews in Montgomery, Alabama

5 stars should be enough of a review. I've called them several times for plumbing, electrical, and AC problems. Quick response, great results, and the guys that did the work were very professional and the nicest people. Definitely gonna call them the next time something breaks. Or if I break something.

Will never know if they are good or not. Simply needed a copper line replaced from the sink to fridge, but yet they want $60 just to COME OUT AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE. The whole POINT of getting an ESTIMATE is to find out who will the best work for a price that is NOT OUTRAGEOUS. C'mon.....I would be out $60 if they didn't offer COMPETITIVE PRICES.

Best in class service. They came out with no hassle twice the same day i called to recheck my pump. Never asked for another dime. I will use them no matter how much someone can save me. Call Bill you will save bills

I guess the service is only good if you have the money outright. The times we've used them in the past we were able to pay same day full amount and had fantastic service. We had a plumbing emergency at a time when we don't have any emergency money to spare. Tried to talk to the dispatcher about payment or financing options. I teared up on the phone and she laughed and then tried to cover it by saying she would talk to her boss and call me back. Not looking for a handout, but a little respect would have been nice. I'll be calling around to see if I can find a company that sees costumers, including the ones on hard times, instead of numbers.

I used Bill Bradley for my plumbing services and Blake and Kendale did an exceptional job and I was so pleased with the professionalism that they showed throughout the week while working on my home. They are most definitely the best at what they do and they will be my first calls if I have any other problems with my home they may arise in the future.

Had an appointment today between 9 and 10 which gives them leeway in case something comes up and I had five small plumbing jobs for them to do. I rearranged my schedule , I took off from work and when no one was here by 10 o’clock I called and Ashley said “ oh yes we had an emergency so they’ll be out there as soon as they can get out there”; that is not good enough I should’ve gotten a phone call at 9 o’clock or before , if there was an emergency, so I don’t know if it’s a scheduling problem or people not showing up for work, have no idea, but I will look elsewhere. Do not use or you’ll be waiting all day. I might add, I was “ first appointment of the day”. Very unprofessional to leave a customer just hanging. How much trouble is it to make a courtesy phone call if you are truly on an “emergency.”.

We had an emergency clog for the inlet to our septic system. They were the only ones that had any available technicians on a Saturday afternoon. David and Gary showed up and went straight to work. They quoted the price upfront and stuck with that price even though it took a little more time than expected. Bill Bradley will be my first call every time. You guys have earned a customer for life.

The dispatcher is friendly over the phone and provides the service charge in advance. When the plumbers come out, they are able to look at the job and give fair pricing. Very friendly!!! I only use Bill Bradley. They always call before they head to the house. This reputable company continues in good service & integrity.

I had Bill Bradley install new AC unit in my home 8 years ago. Called Sunday morning because my AC blower motor was making a high pitch squealing noise and the motor was getting hot. During the call I was informed a technician would be out to take a look at the unit “within the hour” and they would call when the technician was headed our way. Four hours later the technician showed up (without calling).
The technician looked at the AC unit and said “your blower motor is going out.” I asked if it was covered under warranty since the entire unit was purchased new 8 years ago and he said “no, the motor will be around $800 for parts and service.” The technician then stated “I’ll clean the coils and that might help get you through the day—but I’ll need to come back out and replace the motor tomorrow—if I can find the motor in stock. These motors are pretty hard to find.” Thirty minutes later he finished spraying the entire AC unit off with a garden hose and said that I owed him $155 (I guess $75 for showing up and $80 for spraying the unit down with my garden hose). It would have been really nice to know all this before he did a thing.
Sunday afternoon after the technician leaves, I’m $155 poorer, my 8 year-old AC unit is not working, and I may or may not have somebody from Bill Bradley coming out on Monday morning to replace a blower motor for $800 that should have been covered under warranty. Good news is—I have a broken AC unit that is slightly cleaner than it was on Saturday.
By the way, if you look on the internet, you can find that exact same $800 motor for $135…
I think I’ll pass from here on out with Bill Bradley. -
Doing a second update to my review: after all the issues that we had during the install, I was very skeptical to allow BBS to come service the unit based on the maintenance agreement. However, in order to maintain the warranty on the new unit, I did allow BBS to come out to perform its summer maintenance. We had a wonderful experience with the technicians that came to service the unit. They were on time, performed the necessary service and the unit is definitely performing its job!
Update to my review.... After writing this review, we had multiple problems with the new unit. It resulted in BBS having to come out multiple times, and even send an expert from Birmingham to find out what the problem was. Ultimately we had to reduce the size of unit, and do a lot of new duct work. Ultimately, it took over 2 weeks to get the new unit "right". Normally, I would not go back and change a review, but given all of the circumstances of the issues we had immediately after my review, I felt that it was my duty to report an update. Further, I will not be using this company for any future needs on the second unit in my house, even though I have a free one year maintenance on the 2nd floor air conditioner that I received at an event hosted by BBS. I felt honesty about the problems we had is important in case my review is a deciding factor of someone looking to use this company.
Day of install: We had a three and a half ton Rheem heat pump installed by Bill Bradley. From the initial call to the final installation, the staff and technicians were fabulous. Very professional and courteous, answered any questions that we had, cleaned up completely and with the exception of having a top-of-the-line new heat pump, you would never have known they were here. It's extremely efficient and can't wait to see our electric bill drop dramatically from the older and worn out unit we had before. I strongly recommend this company for any of your heating, cooling and plumbing needs! So impressed with this company we are considering replacing an older unit on our second floor with a new state-of-the-art Rheem product as well. Honestly wish I could have given them more stars than five! -
In November I reached out to Bill Bradley Services in search of a second quote on a water line replacement for our rental property. A technician promptly made it out and provided a detailed estimate which included two figures; $10,401 and $15,901. The higher estimate was in the event the pipe ran under the driveway and they had to dig up the driveway for repair.
Within a few days my husband and I agreed to move forward with the repair and opted for financing. We were told that to finance, we’d have to get pre approved for the higher amount in the event it was needed. We understood and agreed
Once work was started a gas leak was found. Not sure if it was coincidence or if the line was damaged once the digging for the water pipe started. Gas company was called out and it was determined that the gas line would need to be be replaced.
Since BBS was already there I asked for a quote to replace the gas line. It was provided, I agreed to it and I was told that it would be completed once the water line was replaced.
Moving on, the water line is repaired with no additional digging of the driveway needed. Some concrete on the path was broken but that was factored into the lower cost estimate and they said that would be repaired in 3-4 weeks once the ground settled. Great!
Fast forward a couple of days and I realize that the gas line has not been repaired. I call the company and it wasn’t scheduled because the job was marked as complete.
I expressed urgency as not having access to gas impacts my tenants. The scheduler said she’d pull the permit and get someone out soon. A couple of days later the gas line is repaired.
By early December both the water and gas lines are complete and in good working order.
I reach out on January 24th because the ground has settled and we’re ready for the path to be repaired. The scheduler had trouble locating our account but after getting details, she said she’d have the technician call me. He never called. I called several more times over the span of a week with the same result.
I finally get told that there were no notes in the system regarding the return to fix the cement but the scheduler was talking to the plumbing department to get a date and would return my call that day guaranteed. The day passed with no return phone call. I called the next morning and was provided with a date. Yesterday, February 7th was the date I was given and they did not show up.
To add icing to the cake, Prior to the 24th we noticed we still hadn’t been charged for the service. We thought maybe it was because the path still needed to be completed. Yesterday 2/7/2023 we checked the financing website and saw that on January 24th, the same day that I made the initial call, the charge posted to our account and we were billed the higher amount of $15,901.
I immediately called BBS to try and rectify the matter. They took the details of my concern and said that someone would call me back.
While I’m overall pleased with the job and the functionality of the repair, I’m dissatisfied with customer service and customer service matters to me.
Moving forward I will use a different company for our plumbing needs. -
Had a drainage issue. BBP came out and fixed my line and said not to use flushable wipes and we should be fine but that we may need to consider replacing the cast iron pipes with new pipes if this continues. 8 or 9 days later we are backed up again they won't warranty the work they do and wish to charge me another 575-600 dollars. If a company won't warranty the work they do go with someone who will like roto rooter. They charge less and warranty the work they do.

Had Service, call today. Person came out saying he was supposed to service my heat didn’t understand what he was saying so I called in the office and got a female on the phone. She was very rude. Start talking very loud to me wouldn’t let me talk. I asked him if I could get someone else I don’t appreciate this kind of service I will be contacting the owner. No one’s gonna talk to me like that on the phone about servicing my house and then he didn’t even act even know what he was talking about and was trying to do the service even though I didn’t want him to, so I’m not gonna be talked to that way by anybody I can find someone else and I will be contacting the owner

African American male with braids was extremely rude, had the demeanor of not wanting to help. Was very short with his responses. Would not recommend if your are looking for friendly service.

My best friend had a major issue with his toilet. He called Bill Bradley Services, and they came out right as scheduled at 9:00 this morning. The service members were professional, diligent and clearly very good at their jobs! Thank you so much for helping him with this issue. He's so relieved.

If I could give this company a 5 negative stars which every star represents how awful and unprofessional they were I would. I wanted to inform everyone that’s looking at this please stay away from this company. I have been doing business with Bill Bradley and my parents over 20+ years. I am very disappointed in Bill Bradley services day. The technicians left my AC unit dismantle what you see with the pictures below which are posted. First of all, they came to my residence four times with different technicians with different diagnostic issues. They bill me and my husband for all different services and every time the technician comes out is something different. I paid for a diagnostic test which was over $800 and they stated that there were nothing wrong with my AC but a small leak, 2 months later my Freon in my AC unit went out. My house was hot and not livable. be my husband had to go to a hotel for a week or two until we had to figure out on how we going to fix our AC unit. I called them back out and now they order a second compressor and another parts. This should be told to us when they did the initial diagnostic test that I needed another compressor and other additional parts towards the AC unit one the technicians initial visit urinated in my house without my permission he just went to my bathroom. I didn’t know where the technician was and he came out of my bathroom. The technician didn’t even ask can he use my bathroom. The technician just did what he wanted to do.Personally that was totally disrespectful. I informed Mr. Jones about the situation. He stated that he will talk to his technician about the situation. Now the pictures that you see display the fourth visit these guys left my house without putting back the AC unit when my husband went outside when they was trying to install the coolant part of the AC unit there were damages to the part And my husband confirmed them in professional manner and they got upset and they just left without doing nothing, I advise you please be aware and stay away from this company. This company doesn’t care about the customers only thing they care about is greed and keep billing you and billing you and charging. Meanwhile, my grass is also damaged due to them leaving the equipment dismantle please see pictures below. Nevertheless, Bill Bradley was very slow in receiving the shipment, the compressor and other parts was already available at the distributor location, but they failed to get the parts until I had to call the distributor myself and they stated that it was already at their location to be pick up ,while me and my husband had to spend more money and get a hotel. In conclusion, please take this statement/review seriously this is a very bad company. The only thing the company do is inadequate, fake diagnostic and continue charging you. Also, I’m going to report them to the better business bureau.
