The receptionist that answered the phone was very rude, short, and unhelpful. I have a pregnant wife that has had some issues with our pregnancy, 3 kids, and our air has been out for 2 days in the middle of August. Our rental office called in a work order for them to come out, but she wouldn't give me a timeframe or any helpful info as to when they were coming or whether they were coming at all. Today is Friday and we can't go a entire weekend without air. I bet her air is working great so she could care less about a concerned customer. My advice to her...if you don't like your job QUIT!!!!

I highly recommend Mays, they came out quickly after I called, gave me an amazing quote on a new ac system and had it installed in no time and it cost way less then anywhere else in town cause I called everywhere for quotes.

Ill say this....the response time was good, but LORD.....It cost me $400 for 30 minutes work. Once they left, I set my thermostat to 68 degrees and couldnt get my inside temp under 77 degrees for a month!!!! A friend of mine that is a HVAC professional came by and washed out my coils for FREE ( A Usual $15-20 charge) and my temp is set at 68...and actual interior temp is 69 degrees. I try to be loyal to local businesses....but WONT give Mays another chance to POUND me again. They incurred the $400 charge before talking to me....Thank god I had the money.

Jesse came out and gave us some freon for our AC unit. He was awesome! Super polite, friendly and knowledgeable!! Definitely recommend them!!!

What a fantastic company. We bought a house that had a leaky attic unit. This unit was poorly installed with a small catch pan that needed to be replaced as well. The source of the leak was initially hard to diagnose. Thru no fault of their own it took Mr. Mays and his team multiple trips out to finally get it fixed. They didn't charge me until the job was finally finished because he wanted to ensure the problem was fixed. They kept me updated thru the entire process and sent me an invoice that was more than fair considering the amount of work that had to be done. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Weve used May's since we moved to prattville. The first time was a patch job till we could afford to replace our 1970s model 5 ton. When it came time to replace the unit their techs were very quick to get us a VERY reasonable quote. We talked through some payment options and Mays was very easy to work with in that regard. When they came out to do the installation their techs went way above and beyond, were very thorough and very professional. We got a 10 year parts, 2 year labor warranty, which... knowing this company I'll never have to use. Top notch company. Highly recommend for all your a/c needs

A/C stopped working Monday night. I called Mays Tuesday evening after calling a rude bad apple. He got back to me in less than 20 minutes and got my information. We set a time up for Wednesday. He called me to let me know he was running behind and would be at my house shortly. He was very personable,polite, and professional. He assessed my problem and gave me a price. We agreed and they went to work. Double checked everything and was on their way. They didn't waste time. No matter what heating or air problem you're having , call Mays heating & air ,and ask for Mike D. You won't regret it. I will definitely do business with them again.

Fantastic family owned business. My AC went caput labor day weekend at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. So I made the call hopeful that I would be able to schedule an appointment for the following week. To my surprise Paul May was at our door that very night ready to help!!! From 10:30 pm till after 1am he eagerly and happily fixed our unit! By 2am I was snuggling up in a ice cold home!!! I am still in shock that he would trouble himself to come out that late to help little ol us. Thanks so much Mr May. You are a fantastic person!!! I would now and forever highly recommend May's Heating and Air! They are the best!
