Our 40 year old Rheem furnace's fan stopped running. Called service and techician came in next day. Zachary was very professional and he explained the options to get a new furnace or repair the old one. We decided to have him to fix old furnace but other option was also explained by him and by manager who visited worksite during repair. Parts were ordered and installed. Repair cost was less than expected and furnace is working again. Thank you for a great service and we look into replacement option later.

I called and they showed up within two hours Jarred the technician would not leave until he was sure everything was working as it should cannot recommend Them enough very pleased

The staff at Knik Heating are very professional and very friendly. I admire there dedication in letting me know they are on there way and provide an estimated arrival Tim! The work is top notch and completed in a timely manner.

The worst customer service ever! Went to schedule an appointment tonight the representative who answered the phone Brittany was so beyond unprofessional and even hung up when I asked to please have her manger contact me.
We will be canceling our membership with this company. From the start the service has been horrible selling us packages, pushing expensive water softeners when we just wanted a quote.
Gave false information that some products were out code and weren’t we called our house inspector Biff who has incredible reputation when I called back to speak to the manger ask about why we were given false codes he played phone tag for weeks was always in a meeting or out office.
The service tech that arrived didn’t even bring the products needed to do the job! We were suppose to have our fireplace serviced and didn’t even bring the class cleaner told me he was out. It wasn’t until I asked to talk to the manger to get that he came back wasting an entire day waiting for him.
They do not care about the customers they care only about making money. You are nothing but a number and service is horrible for what you pay for! And if you complain manger will only play phone tag with you! Couldn’t email me was to busy apparently as well.
Update : Owner still has not contacted me about our service plan we paid for the year! , has not followed up with our complaint instead made a terrible comment back instead asking his customers side , maybe try speaking to your customer first and as well you clearly have the time to respond to my review
instead of emailing, calling or heck even sending a text message about our account!

Aidan came out an addressed some serious safety concerns at my home, discovered the source of the issue (cracked heat exchanger on both the furnace and the garage unit heater) and took great care of myself and 3 kiddos!
Additionally, Jared took great care of my grandpa and left him feeling assured that everything was taken care of. He really enjoys the technicians from Knik Heatings knowledge, politeness, and time.

Jared did a professional job in diagnosing the problem as well as the cause of the problem. He explained our options clearly and offered his recommendations. Further work is required but waiting on parts. I felt in very good hands that Knik Heating's priority was that we get our furnace back operating was ASAP. Very, very pleased with the service from Knik Heating.

I had an excellent experience with this company! Brittany and Taylor from the office were incredibly sweet and helpful. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions thoroughly.

Alex, the operations manager, even came to my house to go over the estimate for replacing my well pressure tank. He was not only super friendly but also very knowledgeable.

Dustin and Jared were the technicians who handled the replacement. They were respectful and professional, and they did an outstanding job. Highly recommend!

Aidan was professional, polite, and a pleasure to have in my home when he fixed our thermostat. I recommend Knik Heating as a definite go to for heating repairs

Boiler died on thanksgiving morning, the on call repairman for a different company came and looked at the unit and red tagged my boiler. The following week, I wanted to get a quote for a repair or new unit.

Knik sent out a very nice salesman. Was probably the most informative of the people who gave me a quote from the valley. Unfortunately, instead of either repairing the unit or replacing it, they said they couldn't touch the existing manifold and wanted to replace it (most of the piping) and the boiler.

Knik promptly sent me the highest quote in the valley to get the heat back on at $25,000. Granted, it was for a very nice overbuilt double boiler set up, and I'd guess by talking to them, they probably do very good work as they were super knowledgeable. My point is they are the premium option.

I ended up repairing/rebuilding my existing unit myself since quotes to get it running again ranged from $7-25k from the "boiler people" around the valley to get the heat back on. Cost about $500 in parts in the end and several hours of my time researching things on the internet since I had zero knowledge of floor heat or boilers.

I'd give 5 stars if I money was no object... but if you are just want something fixed, then expect an upsell. I don't blame them. Every boiler company in the valley said my $6k unit was unrepairable. It was, it just needed a new steel plate that I had trijet make for 200$, a couple gaskets, a new igniter, and some wiring repair. If I a simple home owners can figure that out and do the work in a couple hours the people who specialize in boilers should have known that. I'm sure they did, but they couldn't pass the opportunity to try for an upsell, is my guess.

Jared always treats us right and does a great job. He even tolerates my dogs who like to "help" him by getting in the way.

Aiden and J.R. were able to help us get our heater going again and got it serviced and running right. They were very efficient and courteous. Great service and fair pricing!

I was very impressed with Jared and the team and Knik heating. They were kind, informative and didn’t treat me any less than when I had no idea what I was asking for and I didn’t know how to describe the problem.

Jared got the job done efficiently and was kind to answer all my questions and then some. Would definitely recommend them.

Jared was the technician that came out to look at our garage heater. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Come to find out our heater is releasing CO2 so it’s a dangerous situation. We had no idea (no detectors in the garage). He took pictures of what the problem was so i could see exactly what he was talking about. I would definitely recommend Jared as someone you’d want to work on your system.

Aidan and his companion did a great job installing a new glass front for our gas fireplace. They were quiet and studious throughout the installation.

If I could rate Knik Heating LLC zero stars I would!
They are disgraceful, dishonest, their technicians are incompetent and they take advantage of people. In this case a disabled veteran, with small children in the home.
After 2 seperate visits from them, (the second visit being “warranty work” to repair what they broke from the 1st visits disaster) I had to call a different company to repair all their mistakes and restore heat in the home.
All during below zero temperatures.

Highly recommend STEERING CLEAR of
Knik Heating LLC- their office staff is a disorganised mess, their techs are inexperienced, they create issues that don't exist, promise a warranty on their shoddy work and still leave you having to call someone else.
Then turn around and charge more than 2x of the agreed estimate. 👎🏼

Aiden did a fantastic job, it was a five star. He was very knowledgeable and I will not call any other company for my furnace. I was very happy with how quick I got help from knik heating to get financing to get a new furnace and how quickly knik got to my home and replaced it. Thank you

Very unfriendly people who expect you to keep your place like a 5 stars hotel or they threaten to not come help you. We had them check our furnace for a yearly inspection and the technician who came out was a neat freak, wearing hazmat protection, afraid of wood shavings because we keep ducks in our garage, when it’s really cold. I mean this is Alaska... We cleaned before he came over, but it obviously wasn’t enough. Dude acted like our birds carry the plague or something and made us feel like less than nothing. We apologize for it but he went and complained to his superiors. The second time we needed their services they scolded us about scrubbing from top to bottom for his majesty before he show up, remembering his complaint from last time. This time went with someone else who was MUCH friendlier and will get our money next time.

Response to the owner : It was under my husband's name. It's too late now, service was done, unfriendly, paid for and just won't use your services again. Very sad how you treat people.

Aiden was quick and came prepared. My heat went out and he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in a timely manner. He was also respectful of our property. He wore shoe covers while walking inside and I really appreciated that. That’s not something you see every day.
