I would like to recognize Jeremiah Price for his efforts and continued dedication during my project. Between the front yard and backyard it has been no small feat, but I can always rely on him to find a solution and go to bat for what I have tried to accomplish on this project. No doubt it has been a long project with challenges, but I appreciate the effort he continues to put forth with his team and the backup he has with Scott Nagy. Looking forward to final completion photos when we are all set and done with this one of a kind property!

After interviewing and meeting with 4 other companies, we chose to go with California Pools, and we’re so glad we did. We first met with our designer, Doug, and right from the get go, he understood and put our vision onto paper/computer, with a couple of additions along the way, we knew we had chosen correctly. Doug made us feel great! And helped us design our beautiful pool/spa and landscape. We were then introduced to the “team” and met with Stephen, who was our construction manager. He was very professional, thorough, and responded to every need. Stephen made sure the trades responded and that they carried out the tasks in timely fashion. We absolutely loved the California Pools portal. This is where we were able to track the projects and the projects progress. In this same portal, we met and communicated with Alexis, who was our liaison. Alex was extremely professional, proficient and had answers to any questions immediately! In a word, this gal “rocked!” We so appreciated her ability to obtain any information needed throughout this journey. Thank you Alex!

In closing, we’d just like to say how impressed we were/are, with California Pools and their entire team! Being that this was our first experience with a pool company, they made us feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire experience.

We were very impressed with the California Pools team and process during the design and construction phase of our pool/spa/hardscapes project 3 years ago. I must say we have been just as impressed, if not more so, with their warranty support and customer service in the 3 years following construction. It is inevitable that issues will arise after construction with any pool builder; equipment fails, construction defects present themselves, site-specific conditions lead to unforeseen issues. What is important (and rare) is finding a builder that stands behind their work, provides a solid warranty, and makes the warranty/service process a less frustrating experience for the customer. California Pools has absolutely stood behind their work, honored their warranty, and has even gone above and beyond my (admittedly high) expectations for quick, professional, and polite communication and service. I rarely leave reviews, and people in general seem much more likely to take the time to leave scathing negative reviews when they're upset than to take the time to leave glowing positive reviews when their satisfied. As such, I felt compelled to share my positive experience.

We love our pool. Steve ,our construction manager, is a stickler for detail. Making sure everything is done right. Answering our concerns. And making sure everything was done to our liking. It was a pleasure working with both Steve and Jessica. I think the scheduling could be a little tighter but we would recommend California Pools to anyone looking to build their dream pool.

After the installation of our pool, outdoor kitchen and surrounding pool deck, and enjoying it all for a season, we embarked upon the completion of the landscaping. Dave's eye for design was, once again, just what we needed to make this come to life. We hit one snag that was unavoidable and that required a redesign of one small portion, which, in the end, is exactly what is going to fit our family best. The flexibility of this company to meet our needs and to come back to ensure everything was done correctly just can't be overstated.

My husband and I chose California Pools and Landscape and never looked back, never doubted our decision! Dave Grau was our design consultant and to say he bent over backward to ensure we were 100% sure about our design would be underemphasizing his value! His passion and vision as well as his on-site visits to get to know our property got us started on an amazing path. The end product is exactly as we envisioned! Then came Nathan Reyes to manage the project. His calm demeanor was just the medicine I needed when I felt overwhelmed, because it IS a lot, and he came through for me every time I needed his insights and knowledge. The communication from the office was excellent every step of the way. If there were more stars than 5, I would go higher!

I obtained three quotes before deciding to move forward with California Pools to build my dream pool, and I have absolutely no regrets. One of the many important aspects of trusting a pool company with my yard and money was the requirement of excellent communication. When obtaining quotes, the other pool companies did not follow up with me or did so far too late after on sight visits and lots of my time invested; however, from the very beginning of the initial pool design and layout (Thank you to the late, Scott Greenbank) every aspect of getting the pool built I was informed each and every step of the way, whether is was the scheduling of various stages, or even delays. The CPL app was an excellent resource to keep me up to date on everything and when I needed extra details or information, Alex Barone-Jay was always there with and answer for me in a timely manner. In fact, each person associated with my pool build was an expert in their craft and it was fun and fascinating to watch it come to life over several months.

I struck gold with having Adam Redding as my Pool Supervisor/Superintendent. Adam is knowledgeable and personable and ensured to follow up on all the stages of the build and for those reasons I never worried about anything!

The end result was exactly what I wanted and dreamed of for the pool. It was a pleasure and I'm so grateful to California Pools for not only this pool, but for the continued support and follow up when I had questions or needed anything.

California pools has created the most relaxing,inviting and beautiful backyard space for my home. The construction process was easy and there was constant communication. Any issues or concerns were always immediately addressed and corrected. The app provided a tracking trail for every action taken in my backyard. From working with Doug, Victoria and Dylan to all of the subcontractors this has been a wonderful contracting experience. In the final phase they pushed to complete the job in time for me to hold my sister's wedding in the backyard. All of the guests were blown away by the beautiful pool and landscape.

Steve finished off my pool with professionalism and kindness knowing there were issues that were outside of his control. The project started off rocky, but ended with grace. I could not be happier with the final product. Cal pools made me right after facing some tribulations. Projects always have their ups and downs and leadership took my feedback and worked hard to rectify the relationship. The pool meets every expectation, thank you Steve!

My wife and I just had to share how amazing our new California pool is! We had the pleasure of working with an incredible team to bring our dream to life. Sara Dougan was truly instrumental in keeping the project moving and coordinating all the subcontractors seamlessly. She was always available to answer any questions we had and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with every step of the process.

Matt White was also super helpful and caring when it came to ensuring that there were no issues with the start-up process. His attention to detail and thoroughness gave us the peace of mind that our pool would be ready to go when we were.

And let's not forget about Paul Swirski, who created an amazing design that completely exceeded our expectations. He was always available to discuss any questions or concerns we had and really brought our vision to life.

Almost 2 years with CA Pools we have found the team to still be providing stellar service and guidance on things related to our pool system. Kathy Venn , Service coordinator and Alan, technician are excellent resources and are super diligent and caring about client satisfaction. Thanks as always..

We recently completed an entire backyard project, including digging a large, brand new pool. We can't say enough good things about the incredible design work, done by Brian Fox, and the attention to detail and customer service from our superintendent, Stephen Dreher. While all projects have hick-ups and set backs, Stephen and Brian ensured our project remained a top priority and was completed at the highest level. Our backyard is now a beautiful space for our family to enjoy!

Our backyard is beautiful but getting there was a long process with very little communication.

During our build, we had long stretches of time pass without communication or updates. We weren't notified when contractors were supposed to show up on site or what they were going to do while on our property.

Overall, their design is amazing. The process of getting there was not ideal.

Highly recommend, 10/10 experience all around! Cal pools transformed our backyard into a stunning desert oasis that we are beyond happy with! We feel like we are on vacation every day we enjoy our back yard. Very clear their top priority is quality work and customer satisfaction. Incredibly smooth process from start to finish. Excellent communication, always know who is working and what next steps are. Our scheduler, Alex, was fantastic at keeping everything moving with no delays. Our project super, Steve, and hard/softscape supers were constantly stopping by to inspect progress and ensure a quality job. All around great experience!

Our remodel had delays. During the time, Kyle was helpful in seeing the project get completed. He has been very helpful since on making sure the new equipment is working correctly. Good to work with.

The Cal Pool team was awesome to work with and made a long standing dream come true. We couldn't be happier with how they guided us through the process to transform our backyard into a true oasis that amazes us each time we go outside. We've never been through this type of project but Dave C made the entire design process fun and easy to understand, Nathan R was provided fantastic oversight of the build process, and Ciarra T was there every step of the way to help answer questions about billing, change orders, and other administrative details. And the Cal Pool app was a slick way of allowing us to know all milestones that had been completed, that were scheduled to be complete, and to help detail all of the actions that occur throughout this process. Also important to note that all of the Cal Pool subcontractors were amazing and courteous. And we couldn't be happier with the finished product!

California Pools started and completed our pool this summer working in difficult conditions due to the brutal heat. The result is beautiful. We have entertained several times since and everyone loves it! Thanks to the hardscape crew, Marissa in scheduling, Nathan as our super and Kathy in Warranty. We are looking forward to enjoying it for years to come!

There is truly not enough I can say about this company! Ernie, Stephen, Ciarra & their entire team was absolutely the most professional, helpful, caring & simply amazing team from beginning to end. They had what seemed like an impossible task of completing an entire backyard. Their team were all focused on safety, precision and making sure it was completed as perfectly as possible. Still very hard to get through to, or to get a call back from their service coordinator. She won’t put you on the schedule until you give them a credit card for a $100 deposit, but it takes four or five days to get a hold of her to leave the credit card. Very frustrating after giving them $50,000 of business over the past few years

We used Cal pools in Chandler Arizona, six or seven years ago to redo our pool and backyard. They stayed in great contact with us, and their work was impeccable

We needed to expand our patio this year, and went back to Cal Pools. We had some problems up front with communication, and had to push off 2 weeks. I posted a review here, commenting on their problems with follow through. I received a call back from a corporate officer within 2 hours. He apologized for the hold up and lack of follow through, and said that was not to their standards. From that point on, they were spot on with calling to keep us informed. The work was completed exactly as we asked for, and on schedule. The tumbled travertine addition perfectly matches the origional work.

Sometimes the mark of a good organization is how they recover from problems. That certainly was the case here.

They are a little more expensive than other pool and landscape people in the area, but they are still worth it. I would use them again.

We did a complete makeover of our backyard. Even though it was a small job by Cal Pool standards, everyone was enthusiastic and dedicated to our project. We had a spa installation, plus hardscape and landscaping, so many different crews and steps along the way. The teams kept us informed and on track throughout the project. Every site lead was here to start a segment and to inspect the end. They were reachable for direct questions and always responsive. There are always hiccups along the way and they were immediate in their response and available to review and correct anything needed. We are very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the design team, the superintendents and all the site leads. They have brought our vision of an outdoor space into a reality.
