Richard Montoya is a knowledgable, hard working man who knows his stuff. Had him come out to help with a few things, mostly plumbing which he will hate that I mentioned, and he was fabulous. Showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed quickly and thoroughly. I have him coming back for some more fun in a few weeks. You won't be sorry giving him the reins and letting him fix you up.

called out to do roof joist removal due to hvac install. came out next day cut the board and place support brace on so that hvac could remove and reinstall it upon completion. did me a solid for a great price and the way he did it saved me a second visit and svc charge. great service and hugely helpful. highly recommend this svc.

I’ve used Richard three times for some home maintenance projects. One of the things I appreciate about Richard is his honesty about what he can do and what is not in his “wheelhouse.” He was quick to determine what was causing the front door deadbolt alignment issue, replaced an underground ground fault outlet, and rejuvenated my outdoor water feature. I will definitely use him again. He is quick, works cleanly, and is on time for appointments.

I’ve called on East Valley Handyman a few times now — first for plumbing, and most recently for some electrical work — and he’s fantastic. He offered several scheduling options, confirmed the day before, and texted when he was about 15 minutes away. He’s reliable, knowledgeable, and affordable. It’s such a relief to find someone you can count on. Highly recommend!

Richard Montoya offered me a good price after checking out all aspects of the job. He showed up, completed the work in good time and with a very pleasant attitude. He is knowledgeable across board & Im glad to recommend him.

Richard seemed responsive initially and agreed to come over on a weekend to Sun Lakes to fix our door, which I thought was impressive. But he didn’t show up for the appointment and then later texted that he would reschedule, but never contacted me again. We ended up getting someone else. Disappointing because I had some other work that needed to be done at a house we just bought. I’m giving two stars instead of one because the initial response was good.

Richard is fabulous. I needed 40 pictures hung. Richard responded immediately to my initial text and came over the next day to review my needs. His quote was much lower than I expected it to be and I was impressed with his professionalism. He came over the following day and knocked the job out in 2.5 hours. He was careful handling my art work and measured everything appropriately. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the quality of his work and will use his services again as the need arises. We recommend him highly.
