Installed my capacitor in reverse and blew my fan motor. Had a second tech come out, he noted that the first tech installed the capacitor wrong. Hendel's now denies they did any wrong despite my photos and their own techs admission. Shady company that doesn't stand by their work, avoid them.

Impressed with the friendly service and having a capacitor I needed.
But, like many other companies selling HVAC parts, they mainly sell to contractors, and not the do-it-yourselfers.
I was surprised that they could not get me a control board for my AC, a common part that fails. I was told that they would have to do the repair in order for me to get the part.
So, sadly, my business went to amazon.
But, I would definitely return for buying a part they they could hopefully sell me in the future.

We’ve been using Hendels to service our AC and Ive always appreciated the integrity in their repairs. They provide quality workmanship. They recently installed a
new system with all new duct work. They also relocated my condenser from the patio to the side of my house. I’m glad I’ll be able to enjoy my patio now. I would definitely recommend them for all your HVAC needs. Fast, friendly and most importantly honest service.

We called this company for help to have our Roof Top AC unit looked at, as another company suggested we absolutely needed a brand new unit. We though we would get a second opinion. They sent a service Tech out named Jeremy and he was so so helpful! We were facing a bill of 6 thousand dollars for a new unit. Jeremy gave us 3 options and we asked for a Freon Top Up. He serviced our AC for under $300.00! There are no guarantees on anything these days, but he felt we could get a few more years out of a top up. We are so happy with his service and expertise. This company had Freon and topped up the Freon for us. It is so good to work with honest people, when everyone out there just wants to sell you something New. I would recommend this company!

Its never fun to have large home expenses, especially when they are unplanned. Hendel's Air was one of multiple companies that I received quotes from and hands down, Hendels was the most professional, great warranty and financing options, and the pricing was inline with other companies. I am very pleased with my two new AC units and the work done was done very well, and my home feels much cooler and by bill has proven the efficiencies!

Jim Heeney of Hendel's gave the best prices, options of different SEER ratings and discounts for the new HVAC split system, compared to the other four companies, which came and gave free estimates as well. Hendel's also gave us info about SRP rebates. Within 24 hours of confirmation to go ahead, I have a new HVAC system installed.
The installer team was courteous, considerate and efficient. They laid used clothes as their pathway and careful not to trample on my tomato plants and baby tree. They were done in around 4 hours, half of the estimated time Jim told me. Apparently, it was because my attic was big enough for them to stand up and moved fast.
All in all, I recommend Hendel's in installing new HVAC units. Thank you, Hendel's!

My family and I have used Hendel's previously, and I am always very satisfied with the work they do. This time was no exception. When my AC unit was starting to go out, I decided to replace it before it went completely out. Hendel's came and gave me a fair estimate and within a few days I had a new AC and the house was much cooler. Mario and Abraham were amazing. They worked hard and cleaned everything up immaculately when they were done. Hendel's sent someone out the next day to repair my garage/attic opening which was not large enough for the unit, and you cannot even tell anything was done to it! I will definitely call on Hendel's again in the future.

Their technicians are professional and knowledgeable. They are courteous and keep you informed as to the status of your repair or replacement. Hendel's is a fair and honest company. They assisted me on two occasions to get my AC back up and working, which extended the life of my old unit by 3 years. Then when it finally gave out and started leaking coolant they installed a new, high quality system at a reasonable price. Everyone I dealt with was very responsive and professional. I highly recommend them.

BEST HVAC Technician!! Look no further. I just had the best experience EVER. I am talking with all companies and technicians i have ever used.. I had Hendel's install new units on my house back in 2018 time frame. Really a great experience.
I want to say that I have my technician for life and will only request RICH at Handel's. Rich took care of my equipment as if it was his own equipment. Not once did I ever feel like he was rushing thru. I can tell he has a passion for what he does. Thank you!!!

Hendel's not only services my Heating and AC, It was replaced by them. Wonderful jobs all around. I chose to have one annual maintenance for heating and cooling at the same time. I always get a discount. The Service Personnel are always respectful of my property and home. My heating system is in the attic with opening in ceiling of laundry room. Hendels Service Personnel have no problems checking out the over flow pan and servicing the heating system. They are one of the older A/C Businesses and always honor their work. I would certainly recommend them.

Today at 2:15PM I thought my A.C. wasn’t cooling properly and by 2:30 I called “my” Hendel’s. The gentleman who answered was wonderfully kind and patient with me and understood I have health issues causing this to be a major concern. He got Jeremy to me as quickly as possible and by 4:00 the bad capacitor had been replaced and the unit was up and running. He even sat down and asked if I had any more questions or concerns. I have used Hendel’s for a couple of years and have had repair calls as well as routine maintenance and always received superior service from the wonderful people who answer the phone to the marvelous techs…no complaints at all! Several times I have had questions about potential problems with condensate pipe issues, etc and the knowledgeable person who answered the phone told me what to look for. It turned out not to be a concern thus saving me the cost of a service call. Finally after years I have found the best A.C company anywhere…and as long as they put up with me …love you all!

Again this year I used “my guys” for AC maintenance and again I couldn’t be more pleased! O time as always AND a huge thanks to Chris for suggesting I get rid of my washable filter and switch to the inexpensive disposable ones. I took his advice and still cannot believe the difference! The air seems colder and cleaner and I know the system is running better. I simply cannot imagine ever trusting any other company. Thank you Hendel’s!

It's 114° in July, 2023! This is double hot, but it doesn't bother us one little bit because we had Hendel's put in a new A/C unit in May. We are as cool as two peas in a pod!
Hendel's evaluated our previous system, and discussed the options for updating to something which is able to provide better cooling, and also be more energy efficient. Boy, do they know their stuff. Our electric bill has gone down by half, no kidding!
The installers, Mike and Ty, were super professional, very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. And of course they cleaned everything up after they were finished. We were impressed that Hendel's has a service that comes by later and carts away the old unit and any bulky metal stuff resulting from the replacement process. No mess, yay. You can't do better than Hendel's if you need A/C or heating.
Did I mention that our electric bill went down by half? It did!

We have been a customer with Hendel's for more than 10 yrs. and we are so pleased to have them as our A/C company. Honest ,Professional, and simply the best. I called them after struggling 5 days with our home warranty provider for the repair. They came out same day, inspected the unit and verified the repair to the fan motor and that AC compressor was working correctly. My air conditioner stopped working on a Monday night in July. Other companies I called couldn’t come out for days. My friend had used Hendel’s to install her new unit and was very pleased with their service. I left them a message at 9:30 that night and by 6 the next morning they called and came out that day. Everyone I worked with- from the repair technician to the sales team and installers were professional, helpful and the communication was outstanding! I highly recommend Hendel’s!!!

It's the type of business that's right there beside you when you're replacing a unit - but also the kind who's nasty and uncooperative when that part's over.

The website brags "Hendel’s Air Conditioning Awarded One of 15 Better Business Bureau’s Business Ethics 2006 Awards". Note they're not currently accredited with the BBB.

Hendels was recommended to us by our neighbor several years ago. The AC company we had been using for a long time was not diagnosing a serious problem we had for years. I called Hendels, service man came out diagnosed in very quickly, made arrangements to replace the air handler 5 months before the warranty expired! We are now regular customers and I have recommended to a friend who recommended to her neighbor. I highly recommend them. They are open Sundays too! I had to call them once one Father's Day to replace a capacitor , same day service.

HVAC sales & repair in the East Valley for 40+ years, Hendels is a first class organization. Great prices, great service. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service.

Went there to get a replacement cap and was appalled by their markup on prices.. I totally appreciate the fact that they carry the caps in stock when some other hardware store (also read as Lowe's, Home depot) may not have them instantly, but a 4-5x markup on regular prices is just LOOTING the customer. Obviously most people are desperate and hence they have a good reason to exploit the situation and make great profits. I appreciate your stock, but your insane prices that fleece the customer...not so much!

....Oh and BTW: Just as I was on my way back from the store I found out that HARDWARE has them in stock for 30 bucks, which is HALF the price of what these guys sell it for. AND they have tons of locations... and most of them had the caps in stock when I checked - So save yourself all the driving and go there instead.

My AC went out at 5:45 pm, and Rich, the technician came immediately after the initial call was placed. My air was fixed by 7:45 pm. Rich was very knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend!
