I work out on the road, and these guys were able to coordinate with the family back home for a day to come clean the vents because we bought new washer and dryer. He said he'd be there at noon, and that's exactly when he was there. I made an online appointment to have our dryer vent cleaned. They responded very quickly and they were able to come out within 2 days.

Jim came out and was on time, very professional, and very personable. He cleaned out our clogged vent line, our dryer, and even scrubbed our lint filter, (I was just going to replace it. Saved me $60) all within an hour.

Who cleans their dryer vents? I do now………Had a neighbor tell me he bought “a kit” to clean his dryer vents since he heard a house caught fire, and he wanted to do it himself. After listening to him describe what he did to attempt to do it himself and fail miserably, I went online, and educated myself why I need to clean mine. My wife was complaining the clothes would take forever to dry – My though was its because we had an older dryer, right? Nope. It’s because there was so much built up stuff IN our dryer AND in the dryer vent that went to our roof.

Jim showed up on time, took care of cleaning the dryer, and was on the roof, and in the house, properly cleaning the vents. How do you know they are cleaned? Take his word? Nope – Jim takes pictures before and after so you can see the buildup and how clean it was afterwards. He measured airflow, and is a professional expert at what he does.

25 years’ worth of dryer link, gone in a half hour. It’s a great piece of mind to know there is no chance of a fire hazard, PLUS now I don’t have to hear chronic complaining from my wife as to why it takes forever to dry clothes. Literally 3 dryer cycles, down to one, like it is supposed to be. I can now sit in my backyard and smell the dryer sheets, where as before, I couldn’t smell anything.

Steve showed up on time… Fixed the connection between the dryer and the flex tubing. Secured it with a clamp and tape. Checked for leaks and cleaned out the entire vent tubing.

I hired pelican pools for pool service last year after I renovated my pool. They came out for a quote immediately after I called them and even cleaned my pool that day. They do a great job and have wonderful customer service - always very friendly, on time, and helpful when I have questions on how to care for my pool. Highly recommend!

One of the owners came to install my pump. We had two pumps, a 1.5hp and 2.5hp, we asked him which pump is best for my pool? The owner/tech came inside my house and picked the 2.5hp. The owners justification was that there’s a lot of water fixtures in my pool so we need a strong pump. WRONG. He installed the 2.5hp pump and it blew up my sand filter which was far too weak for that kind of pump.

The tech didn’t even tell my brother to stand back as he attempted to turn on the pump, which he knew caused my filter to leak. He brought my brother over to explain the job done, turned on the pump, and it blew up on my brothers face. My brother almost got severely injured by the flying debris.

The tech then proceeded to lie about everything. He said we told him to use the 2.5hp pump (liar we don’t know which pump is best , that’s why I bought two pumps.) and then the tech try to strongarm me into paying him after he caused all the damage. I told him I need a second opinion to ensure they didn’t commit malpractice and he said he was going to cut out all work and leave.

The other owner then listened to his techs lies (go figure). I have security camera footage of the tech going inside my house and picking the pump. The other owner told me the tech didn’t go inside the house or pick the pump.

They picked a 2.5hp single speed pump for a sand filter that only takes 62gpm. Multiple pool companies said these guys committed malpractice.

I uploaded pictures of the pipe that burst, damage to my sand filter, and how he left my pump after cutting everything out. Horrible service.

STAY AWAY.

They replaced my filter system from dand to cartridge over a year ago and everything has been great. I recently called about a pump issue and they helped me over the phone so I wouldn't even need a service call. 10 out of 10.

My pool pump plumbing had an air leak and would no longer vacuum. I called someone local and had to wait. After a week of waiting, i saw Pelican Pools on our neighborhood social media group. I gave them a call explained my issue and had a tech out the very next day. They had to cut out old plumbing and put in new plumbing. Took about an hour and was back in business. Pelican Pools ROCKS. Trevor the pool tech was very professional, explained everything thoroughly and seriously made my day. From here on out, its Pelican Pools for my service needs. Thank you Pelican Pools!!
