Alex came out and installed a hard start kit and a new fuse box total came to about 869.00 for both. He was efficient and seemed knowledgeable.

I had an 11 year old junk Lennox builder grade 3.5 ton 13 seer that I bought through Home Depot. (lesson learned, don't do again).

This time around, I did my due diligence and obtained 5 quotes ranging from $8345 to $25k for 1 unit (3.5 T) for a 1400 square foot single story home. The larger price was additional purifier systems that I didn't want or need.

Quotes came down to True North and a competitor. Same Trane XR15 single stage was about $900 difference. Looking at model numbers found out it was different cabinet size... coil size essentially in the attic. Larger size (competitor) wouldn't have fit super well and would make more noise. Thanks Mike for explaining that to me!

True North did an amazing job and had great pricing. I had a complete new system installed and had a minor issue after install (not their fault) and they came back on a Sunday evening to fix it. Great customer service and honest company. Highly recommend!

Micah was prompt and super communicative and talked over the issues as he was driving here. I called this company out of the blue because of their ratings. Two hours later the issue is fixed and everything is running great. Great guy you got working there!!! Bravo!

Josh did a great job explaining how to make our system last longer by not blocking the vents and the type of filter that should be used. True North is very easy to work

True North is truly a great company to work with - they installed my AC unit on the roof a few years ago and now they perform the maintenance checks every 6-months. The same tech, Micah, who installed the unit, does the regular maintenance on it, which is a major plus for any company to have the same technician to work with over the last 4 years. Fantastic customer service this afternoon from True north a/c company and there Technician Axle. Our 13 yr. Old system was acting up,not blowing cold air and engaging hard when starting up. True North was at our door within 90 minutes. Axle was impressive with his communication with the issues we're facing. I am looking into a new system being installed by True North.
I will update once the install is complete.

Micah came out same day - within hours - to diagnose the reason behind my thermostat not having power. He suspected the issue was in the attic and it was. A quick reset of the overflow valve and a system flush and all was working again. It wasn’t the middle of summer but it’s nice to have everything working so quickly. Now I know to get it flushed yearly. It was pretty gross.

Second time using their services. Always professional, friendly, fair, and reasonable. Micah, the technician that came out, was very knowledgeable and kind. I appreciated the way they treated me the first time. That’s why, when I needed someone, I knew exactly who to call!

After a power outage, our A/C started blowing hot air inside while cold air was coming out of the outside unit, very confusing and uncomfortable. Jacob arrived earlier than the quoted window, diagnosed the situation quickly, and reassured us that the compressor and system itself were working perfectly.

The real issue turned out to be our outdated Cox Home Life thermostat, which had lost its programming during the outage. Impressively, Jacob went the extra mile to find an instruction manual online for this obsolete model and carefully reprogrammed it. In just 30 minutes, voilà! Cool air was flowing again throughout the house.

Beyond his technical expertise, Jacob was one of the nicest young men you could meet: professional, kind, and genuinely eager to help. Technicians like him are true assets to a company.

We had service done a few months ago, we upsized our vents and on a few of our vents it would leak when it rained. The upsizing went well, all our rooms get very cold. However, our vents still leak. We paid them to re-tar the base of the ducts as that's what they said that was the problem. We trusted their professional opinion. We also paid money to repair our ceiling. Come to find out they did not do this service. My husband checked the roof and they did not do all the ducts. Now we have to pay another HVAC company to address the issue and will need to repair the ceiling again. If True North can provide before and after photos of the alleged repair, I am happy to remove this review.

Regarding customer service, they charged me a service fee and did not apply it towards the repair until I brought it up. Please keep an eye on that. We needed to ask for the estimate and follow up on scheduling.
