Jordan was very courteous and professional. However, I was shocked that it cost me $472 to have my toilet snaked, which took all of 5 minutes. That just seems unethical to me. This was my 1st time using Rotor Rooter, Angel was my tech. He was on time as promised, very informative when I had questions about the service he was preforming! I definitely recommend asking for Angel if you choose Rotor Rooter!!!

We had roots in our sewer line and the tech pulled out some more. When the camera was inserted, there was standing water in the line and visibility was limited. Their field supervisor, Jeff, claimed the roots had acted like an “earthquake” and had broken our 3" sewer line, recommending a $10K open trench excavation to repair it. I pointed out that roots typically enter through couplings, but he insisted the line was damaged.

The tech did not use a cutting attachment when snaking the line. At a previous home they used that tool to fully remove the roots. His explanation was that he didn’t want to damage our ABS line. This contradicted Jeff’s statement that the line was already broken. When I questioned how you could “damage something already broken,” there was no good answer.

As a retired project manager for a large commercial contractor, the explanation didn’t make sense. We contacted a drain relining company for a second opinion. Their technician was able to pass the camera beyond the roots and confirm that the 3" line was not broken. Their quote was under $3K to remove the roots, then prep and reline the section of sewer with a resin liner. It came with a 20-year warranty and before and after videos. Roto-Rooter provided no videos.

The pipe relining company completed the job in one day without any digging. Their team was transparent, and we are very pleased with the result.

To Roto-Rooters credit, their regional manager, Tim Jones, called us to address the errors. This was much appreciated. It turns out they could have provided a quote for pipe relining, but they did not offer that solution at the time.

Was having a leaking issue in the master bathroom. Juan and his trainee, were able to fix the problem without too much trouble! They were very friendly and helpful! I appreciated their work and kindness!

I contacted Roto-Rooter for a drain clog that occurred within six months of their prior service, making this a warranty-related visit.

I was quoted $9,200 for a repair attributed to a “belly” in the sewer line. I obtained two independent second opinions, both using camera inspections. Neither plumber believed the belly was problematic, noting no solids were present, and both indicated it was on the city side of the sewer, meaning the proposed repair would not have resolved the issue. One plumber instead identified a small root intrusion as the most likely cause.

The issue was addressed for $200 in second opinions and $60 for Root-X.

This experience reinforced the importance of seeking multiple opinions, especially when major repairs are recommended.

My technician Angel was great! I was able to schedule my appointment online the night my issue started happening and Angel was there first thing in the morning. He was upfront with costs and charges, explained every step he was doing, and was so friendly! He cleaned up the area when he was done and got my bathroom back in working order! Definitely will use this company again!

We were extremely happy with our service tech Angel It was extremely helpful, patient and kind. He continued to do his job and so we are completely satisfied. We even came out the next day with Clean the camera guy who is also very polite and knowledgeable. Thank you for fixing our problem and may God bless you.

My daughter threw a toy down the toilet AS I was flushing. Angel came out & helped clear the system so we could get back to using our toilet. He was professional and respectful of my home. I loved that I was able to schedule my service on line when it worked for me.
