I had a huge problem and needed a solution fast. I called second opinion and was hoping they didn't give me the same ring around the last 3 places I called before them. Cassandra is who answered my call, from the start of the conversation until the end, she was nothing but helpful and kind. She listened to my huge problem and took the time to explain everything. Then she said those magic words I was looking for, "I have a technician in your area". It pretty much melted me like butter when she said that. She provided me with updates until the technician got there. Thank you, Cassandra. Then Matthew showed up, he might as well showed up in a superman outfit, boy did he bail me out of this poop problem. Matthew was professional, kind, and extremely helpful. Fixed my problem, charged me more than a fair price, and was a really cool guy. Thank you both for all the help. Wonderful company, highly recommend!

I don't leave many reviews but when you receive really great service, I feel like it should be recognized. The team at Second Opinion provided that level of service!

I had a damaged/leaking main water line that needed immediate repair. My initial call was answered promptly and professionally by a real human. An available technician was identified and dispatched to my house within one hour. Follow-up texts were provided with details and ETA.

The tech, Aaron, arrived as promised, was polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to discuss various options for repair. The job was completed quickly and neatly (it required digging and even that was done so well, you'd barely know that it had occurred).

Hat's off to Second Opinion for making what could have been a frustrating experience into a pleasant solution.

Last night I noticed my water heater was out and needed to be replaced. Charles with Second Opinion Plumbing was dispatched first thing in the morning and the water heater was replaced before lunch! Charles kept my wife and I updated during each step of the process and gave us the confidence that he knew what he was doing. He was extremely professional and kind! Hope we don't have to reach out for plumbing issues anytime soon, but if I do, this is the team on the top of my list! Thank you SOP and Charles!

My kitchen faucet broke and I could not get it to turn off. I called 10 different plumbers in the Mesa/Gilbert area, and Second Opinion Plumbing is the ONLY one that answered. They were able to get a plumbing technician out to get the faucet to stop running. The faucet did need replaced because the internal components broke and the screw was cold welded in the faucet. Charles had to literally saw the old faucet off to remove it. He was very professional, replaced our kitchen faucet quickly, and did a great job. I recommend this plumbing company over any other in the Mesa/Gilbert area because they answered the phone, fixed the problem, and I have yet to hear back from the other 9 plumbers that I called.

Kyle and his team were responsive, took care of our plumbing problem with no unexpected costs and adjusted to some very last minute requests. We received 3 quotes from different companies and Second Opinion Plumbing’s price was the best for the exact same services quoted. Will definitely use them again and would definitely recommend their services.

Aaron was able to be available to come address a leaking service line very quickly and moved jobs around to get our issue fixed same-day. He was professional and respectful, and his crew worked quick to make the repairs. The price was fair and he recommended an add on that will make things easier later on. I feel comfortable with the work that was done and will definitely recommend and use them again.

I have used Second Opinion Plumbing twice before. Great experiences on both times. This week the connector on my solar water heater was leaking. I called Second Opinion. The lady who answered the call was so friendly and was able to schedule me to check the leak this morning. Charles came out and he noticed an O-ring was missing in the connector to cause the leak. He just put one in and didn't charge me for the part and for coming out. He also gave me a quote on some new energy saving water heater option in case I need a new one in the future. I highly recommend them!

Found Second Opinion on Yelp with great reviews, also checked google and their license at AZ ROC. They are a small FAMILY OWNED business which means A LOT to us and we try to support as much as we can.
I had called 3 other companies (also found on yelp) but they all charged a trip fee for a quote that would be applied to the invoice – UMMM NO THANK YOU. All I heard was “we will milk you for all we can get”
All of these companies have had to have dealt with a seized hose on a hose bib in the past and should know the cost.
Called Second Opinion on 10/16/25 and spoke with Cassandra. NO trip fee and quote would be given when the plumber arrived (next day 10/17/25)
Joe Bushnell arrived PROMPTLY at 8am. I showed him the hose situation. He tried to remove it with 2 pliers but to no avail.
He ended up cutting the hose off and then cutting the hose fitting off within 30 minutes. Explained that the 2 different metals of the hose attachment and the hose bib cause this to happen and gave us suggestions of what types of hose we should look for in the future.
To say it was a FANTASTIC experience from beginning to end is an UNDERSTAEMENT.
If we EVER need ANY plumbing issues taken care of Second Opinion is who we will call.

I have used 2nd Opinion Plumbing for several projects and they were excellent. The unclogged a drain, installed a reverse osmosis system, installed a water softener, installed 2 faucets and a scheduled to install 2 toilets. Not the cheapest, but if you want it done right with real professionals, this is the company. I completely trust my plumbing technician, Joe Bushnell. He is knowledgeable and provides great advice that with an eye toward value and reliability, not hype.

The Town of Gilbert told me I used 90k gallons of water in 30 days — a major leak! It turned out to be my 70’ service line, mostly under concrete. I got quotes from three plumbers, and Kyle at Second Option Plumbing was the only one who gave me a firm price and clear plan. He recommended replacing the old corroded pipe with a new PEX line instead of patching it. The job came out perfect, on time, and exactly as quoted. Kyle was honest, professional, and responsive. Highly recommend Second Option Plumbing!

Awful, they were dispatched 3 times by the landlord to clear a sewer pump. For three weeks they left sewer remains in my back yard that I as a renter had to clean up after and left an open sewer line for three weeks. It was upon the threat of the city inspector that they came out and closed the sewer line and snaked the correct plumbing line. The refused to provide an invoice and upon a formal complaint made to the city a bill appeared outlining the following message: 7/08 Snaked main from cleanout (which they did not, they left the sewer line open on the RV dump line) completely false statement and added they removed baby wipes and tampons. Which they left in the open and never cleaned up after. 07/13 They snaked the main line. Horribly unprofessional.

We own the property in the Dee R. Review. As the tenant, she was responsible for the problem. Not us as landlords. She never informed us that there was a problem. Our landscaper did inform us. We acted to protect our property. Under pressure could not gain access to the property in a timely manner. She has two large dogs that I wouldn't enter the rear yard either. She wouldn't allow access to the interior either. Under pressure has always done an excellent job for us.

We moved into our house four years ago and they came out and did a couple of small jobs. The man who came did a great job and did more than was required. This past March we had a leak in the attic and they did a great job fixing the problem. We have had them two more times and had the same young man do the work. He is honest and did a great job. I highly recommend them.
