We have an 82 year old house, and a significant portion of galvanized pipe that was badly deteriorating had to be replaced. After getting extremely high quotes from two other plumbers for a major plumbing repair, we called Second Opinion. We chose Second Opinion for the job not simply because they offered a competitive estimate, but because of the thorough assessment and explanation that their technician Charles provided to us. The repair job was completed yesterday, and we cannot praise this company enough. Throughout the day-long job, Charles provided continual updates as the work progressed & made sure we were informed of all aspects of the work being done. Charles was thorough, professional, personable, and he was extremely respectful of our home and our animals. After the bathroom ceiling had to be completely removed to get to a big section of leaking galvanized pipe, Charles made sure that every bit of ensuing debris was cleaned up. We have never had such a thorough clean-up after a repair job! On every aspect of this experience, we give this company 5+ stars -- the speed of response, the quality of the work, the professionalism and care of the technician.... we have tried several plumbers over the years, but we have finally found a plumbing company that we can feel 100% confident about. Absolutely recommend Second Opinion!!

Amazing on all levels! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I contacted Second Opinion Plumbing on Sunday, May 12th (Mother's Day just before 8am), needing to get a second opinion (no pun intended]. Our main water line was punctured on Saturday with a shovel, we had a company come out and they "attempted" to repair the line and told us, because the line is so damaged we needed to replace our entire line up to our house (and change to a different type of piping), and quoted us $4K). Our home is only 4 years old! It didn't sit right, so I called Second Opinion Plumbing.
I spoke with Cassandra, explained our situation, she heard my stress and concern and said "let me reach out to one of my technicians and give you a call right back", and she called me back within minutes to let me know a technician would be at our home within 20-30 minutes!
Charles arrived, we explained the situation, he immediately identified an error of the first company (the one that said our entire line needed to be replaced). Charles explained he needed to go take care of a job that he was already headed to and assured us he could take care of it. He returned about 2 - 2 1/2 hours later and communicated to us throughout the process. We did need to replace 6 1/2 feet of our main line due to pre-construction damage that was found, but it was a lot less than the previous company and the work was clean! Charles was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, just absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this company! They will be the only company we use for any plumbing needs!

I needed help with changing out a brass fitting since I was replacing a water softener. Charles gave me information on how to attach it and even cut and cleaned a pipe up for me.

He ended up not charging me and instead, gave me really detailed advice/step-by-step instruction on how to complete the installation process.

We have used them before for some toilet work and I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Second Opinion Plumbing is the best!!! We had an emergency failure of our water softener which resulted in resin beads infiltrating our water lines. Joe Bushnell came out within 30 minutes of our initial phone call and quickly identified the problem. He talked us through the entire repair and fixed everything promptly. In a nutshell, if you want honest, professional and efficient plumbing, Second Opinion should be your First Choice.

I had a leak where the main water supply connected to the irrigation system. I temporarily shut off the valve providing water supply to that system. I saw that Second Opinion had great reviews on Yelp and gave them a call.

To my surprise they were able to send out a person right away. Christopher Cartem I believe was the name of the technician. He was friendly, professional, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He was very upfront with the nature of the problem and the expected cost. He also provided me with some suggestions that would enable the repair at significantly lower cost without requiring plumbing services.

This took me completely by surprise. He was helping me out and losing some business in the process. I think he and his company understand that if you take care of the customer first, they will come back to you.

In the event that I have any further plumbing needs, I will definitely use Second Opinion without hesitation. They are honest and fair and upfront about their services and pricing. I have used some of the larger plumbing firms in the past and have had a poor experience with them.

Christopher was great and Second Opinion is lucky to have him. If he is representative of the whole company then it is one of the best companies in any field. I've had the pleasure to encounter in 20 years in Arizona.

I highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing. They were less than half the price of my previous estimate. Chris showed up right on time and gave me an estimate. After 1 more estimate, I called back and Chris was back about an hour later to do the work. He then explained what he would do and how long it would take. When he finished, he showed me what he did, explained the warranty, and made sure I didn't have any questions, and that I was satisfied with his work. Choose this local family owned business. You won't be disappointed.

Charles came to our house to help troubleshoot pooling water in our backyard. Not only was he early and efficient, he was one of the nicest people. It was clear that he was highly knowledgable and had our best interest in mind. Next plumbing issue that arises, there's no question who we'll call first...Second Opinion Plumbing.

We’ve called these guys several times and it has always been a good experience. This time we had water pooling on the side of our house with nothing I could tell that was leaking. I was right next to our side fence, so I was hoping it was our next door neighbors. I was worried enough though that it was a line under our house that I thought I’d better call Second Opinion. Charles came out and looked at several things and determined that the neighbors had left their hose on and it was dripping next to the fence and pooling up on our side. We were able to get the neighbors to shut their hose off and Second Opinion didn’t charge us. Every time I call these guys it’s a positive experience and I don’t even need to search for a plumber whenever I have a problem. I just call them right away.

They were fast and extremely courteous, not to mention affordable. I'll be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

Kyle came to my home recently to repair a leaky shower faucet. He explained everything in detail, noting the best case to worst case scenarios prior to starting the work. It turned out the repair was quite involved. However, he was patient and did a thorough job!
I have used this company before and will continue to reach out for my plumbing needs. I highly recommend them and a special thank you to Kyle.

Charles came by this morning. Arrived early. Gave me a courtesy call and text to see if I was ok with him arriving early. Took care of the issue promptly and professionally. Gave me an honest quote that was lower than what I’d gotten from another company when I had a similar issue in the past. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Kyle and Second Opinion. I have worked with many different plumbing companies and have never been treated as well as we have by this team. They are extremely knowledgeable and their pricing is more than fair. Would recommend this company to anyone that needs plumbing assistance, water softeners (that actually create soft water!) or misting systems.

I had a very bad root problem that had come through the sewer pipe to the base of my toilet. Second Opinion Plumbing came out to solve the clog and discovered the cause. Their quote for repair was $1,000 less than a popular national competitor and their technical approach was far superior (they also even gave me a credit for the initial visit.) They were able to access the pipe through a bedroom closet and conduct the repair, greatly reducing the total cost of the project compared to the competitor who wanted to break some bathroom tiles to access the pipe. Finally, they had a tree root preventative treatment that was better than what the national competitor proposed (I researched it when comparing quotes.)

Aaron, Jessie and Fernando were extremely professional, hardworking and polite. They showed up on time and completed the job by 3PM the same day! I highly, highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing. They are my go-to plumber from now on, I won’t mess around with others.

Matthew is my technician, and he's beyond superb. Not only did he find the leak cause and stop it, but he also helped me with the low water pressure, which was the main issue I had. To troubleshoot the leak, he had to dig through the overgrown weed to find the landscaping box, and it was full of weed root inside. Matthew went above and beyond to get all the problems solved for me. It's also a reasonable price. Very happy customer.

We had to have a toilet replaced and Second Opinion was awesome to work with! Fast service, fair price and great communication. Chris was our tech and is just about one of the friendliest guys you could meet. I would highly recommend them!

It’s hard to find an honest plumber, and I would give these guys my highest recommendation. The first time I used them, it was indeed for a second opinion due to the fact that the home warranty company I had a policy with sent out a terrible plumber (J&L Plumbing), and he gave me some great insight and refused to take any payment for the service call. The second time I used them, a great guy came out and made a very complicated repair to a burst shower valve (behind the wall), and saved me a lot of money. Can’t say enough about how great these guys are. Please keep up the great work!
