Had 2 seperate large orders 1 week apart. First one pd in full after delivery. 2nd load scheduled did not show. The following day the load was delivered & done just prior to 5 pm. At 7:00am my phone showed 8 calls from them. Calling them back (7:30am) i was treated RUDELY for asking them about appropiateness of 8 calls at 7am & TERRIBLE treatment about bill- which had not been left but I made immediately to them. ?

I only needed about 15 gal of rock to finish up our front landscaping. Went over and got it for $13. Couple of young guys in the front office were helpful. If I need more rock/gravel I'll be back

Great little landscape supplies for gravel or dirt. Real quick service! I drove up with my pick up told him I needed some screened dirt. Walked into their office to pay and they already had me loaded up. I’ll definitely be back again.

I have always had great experiences ordering rock through this company. Their prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and they usually have quick turnaround times for delivery.

We were told by a neighbor that we needed 3/4" of crushed rock material for our entry and exit drive way that had been washed out by last summers rain. He highly recommended us to go to J & J Landscaping materials. We kind of picked out the rock type material described by our neighbor and told the manager and helper there that we were putting it on our road. Nobody gave us any advice. One of the men who we saw in the office brought it out. We met him at the house. We discussed with him that it would need to be spread over the road. He dumped it but although they told us he could spread it as he dumped it (after it was down he said he didn't have the right kind of dump truck. We thought it was too much material, and never once did he offer any advice, like this really isn't what you put on this type of road. Then he went back for another load. When it was all done he didn't say anything. We couldn't believe what was just done. NO ADVICE whatsoever. We asked them if we got a loader if they would come get it. Of course the answer was no. So it is costing $2000 to have it piled off the road so cars could drive on it. Bad advice from the neighbor, no advice from J&J. Go to a professional for advice, and that's not J&J! Most people concerned about their customers wouldn't have done that to us. And we didn't know any better until we tried to live with it. Had $1339 in the material. A friend went in (not knowing they were the people we had bought it from) and asked them who in the world would sell that kind of material (ABC is what it was) for a private road. They just laughed. Boy did they see us coming. So $3339 later we would never tell someone to go there. And we never will again.

I called to ask about some 3/8 coral. I wanted to see what the coral looked like as well compared to the existing. Tom, the guy who answered the phone, showed phenomenal customer service and has went above and beyond to provide me with pictures even though that's not something that they deal with( assuming from experience with other material companies), but because I am out of town he went out of his way to help me out. Greatly appreciate that kind of customer service that you don't see very often. Thanks Tom!

408 not 480 was the joke of the day!

Everything was excellent. Went in with a bucket of rocks/gravel not knowing what it was. Found out I it was Madison Gold. Only ordered 2 tons of the 3/4 inch instead of the smaller gravel for delivery it was a week out but that was fine with me not in a rush. On Saturday before my scheduled Monday delivery decided to add 1 more ton, they were closed so I left a message. I called about 9am Monday to confirm and they had added it to the order and were about to call me for payment it was easily handled over the phone. When they got here to deliver he rang my doorbell to confirm where I wanted the load dropped. The 3/4 inch size looks so much nicer compared to my neighbors on either side. Need about a 1/2 ton more to complete the job. Now to get my brick borders done ASAP to keep my rock separated from the neighbors.

Had to buy specific dirt for work for a client. These guys were very helpful and understanding. I even had to make an emergency call for more dirt and they delivered in less than 24 hours. Highly recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience!! I had been trying to work with a competitor for pea gravel purchase - three times I tried and three times I gave up due to rudeness and their lack of firm delivery day. So I looked for another company and saw 5 star rating for J & J. So I called them up. I was met with a pleasant and courteous person on the phone and a firm delivery time. Not only the day but also a 2 hour timeframe. When I arrived at their location I was again met with super nice and polite people. 10 minutes later the order was complete and I was on my way. This company deserves more than 5 stars, I give 10. Just call with an inquiry and you will see what I'm talking about. Oh yeah, their prices and delivery was also less than "the other guys". I wholeheartedly recommend J&J!❤👍

I've been dealing with them for almost 30 years and never had an issue.They have always been friendly and helpful. Their drivers are always helpful. The last load of stone I got, the driver recommended that I close the garage door to keep the dust out and waited until I did.

Just ordered 6 tons of rock from J & J last week. They were able to deliver it two days after I called! Felt it was a great deal per ton. The customer service from both the office and delivery guy was great! I was impressed to get a heads up Call that they'd actually be early.

I've had to manually move 15 tons of rock in a pickup truck over the past couple 8 weekends. They've been great! Very friendly and reasonably priced. They were also able to quickly match samples. I've recommended them to friends and family.
