They came and diagnosed an issue on my system. That part of the work was professionally done and I was pleased with the work.
They attempted to install a new thermostat for me but where unsuccessful due to larger concerns with the wiring.
When removing the thermostat, they broke off a plastic piece and then hid it from me. I found it later on my own when I was selling the item and observed a large broken piece. Very unprofessional to not mention this during the job. Will find a more honest company to work with.

We have lived in our unit for years and not needed it serviced and probably due to wear and also this insane weather lately we had a system line get clogged which who ever heard of such a thing. Our technician came out last minute call promptly Sean (with an E) and was polite, professional, kind, he was able to explain what was going on in a way we understood. He didn’t just do a lazy check and assume something he took the time to walk the property check the unit and diagnose the issue. Even in Arizona weather. He corrected the issue went above and beyond what I’ve seen previous technicians from other companies do and was pleasant all while doing it. I would absolutely recommend him personally for any ac needs you may have and really would like to tell cardinal that they have a true gem of an employee in Sean. He vacuumed out the area and cleaned it allowed it time to dry while checking lines to make sure it shouldn’t occur again. Advised us on a way to monitor it in the future to prevent something from hopefully happening so quickly. We are so very pleased with the service and the product we received from Cardinal State!
Mike and Kim (owners) and Sean (associate) were nothing short of professional on all counts and at all times during the removal of our old unit and cooler, to the installation of our new HVAC unit and thermostat.
From our first meeting, we received clear and concise communication from them. The bid we received was comprehensive and fully laid out what we were committing too. They were personable, timely, clean and respectful of our property and our schedules.
The biggest headache we had was in coordinating removing our old AC and Cooler units and have a new AC unit installed around our re-roofing schedule. All told, our project spanned a week and required two different roofing crews leapfrogging with Cardinal State to complete the installation. Everything was done when and as described – except dealing with an earlier than expected crane the day of install!
We are confident that we chose the right company to install our new HVAC unit. This is one small business that is huge in all areas of product and customer service!

We’ve been using Cardinal State for our residential HVAC service and remodeling for several years and couldn’t be happier with Mike and his team. He is top in his field by any measure and as an added bonus he’s a darn nice guy. You can’t go wrong.

I had a friend recommend Cardinal State, Jim had done a lot of work with Cardinal in the past. They came out in 1hr, they diagnosed the problem in 5 mins. They had all the American made parts on the truck and replaced within 10minutes. Mike knows his trade very well, he knows what he's talking about. I work in construction as an electrical engineer. They did they work safe (lock out all the sources of energy). If you need any AC repair, please call Cardinal they are dependable and trustworthy. Don't mess around with anyone else. Call them. Very reasonable, good quality, good value, Professional, responsive!!!!!

They never showed up. Kim is horrible to work with. Waited two days for them with no AC. A different company DID show up and installed a new $10,000 system that this company could have if they kept appointments.

Mohammad is cheap and will do a mediocre job. Beware. Former employee

My mom got an ac unit from them several years ago when our 20 plus year old unit finally couldnt be kept running. They are amazingly kind and friendly. They are responsive and locally owned.

Muhammad did my heat pump repair while it was raining. Showed up actually when he said he would. Extremely satisfied. Extremely well priced . I would recommend him without hesitation.

My son's a/c went out on a Saturday night. Another company came and quoted some crazy high price to replace a motor. The next morning, Sunday, I called Mohammad. He was there within the hour. Within 2 hours, the a/c was up and running at a mere fraction of what the other company wanted. Mohammad went above and beyond to come out on a Sunday morning. Very honest, and has great integrity.

Guys at AFR are awesome. I had my new AC fixed with them and also serviced my OLD AC. They were cheaper than any other provider in installing new AC which works really good and also check on me constantly on how the system works. Always available any time if i call them. Really great company

We got Mohammed's number from a friend who said he did good work at a reasonable price when we needed a new hot water heater installed. He installed it without even telling us they are not a plumbing company, and his copper pipe work was terrible. We soon developed a leak, and he promised to call us to repair it, but did not. We left messages for almost a week, threatening to call the BBB, but he never called back. Finally deciding we did not want him to attempt a repair at all, we had a professional plumber come out.
Yes, he was cheaper than the big names in town, but if you're not a plumbing company, you shouldn't do plumbing on the side!

Be careful !!! I had installed AC from Mr Mohd Afridi 4-5 years back. I had issues and contacted him and he acted very irresponsible. Never visited or rectified his low quality work on installation on my AC. In recent last week, I had contacted for a help to replace ADP evaporator coil which was under warranty, he did not do anything good for me. I will never recommend his service either new AC or any repair work. My experience with his is pathetic. I am verified buyer of Rheem AC. Thanks, Rahul
