Always Fair Heating & Air provided excellent service in the installation of my new Trane 4 ton 14 seer R410-A Closet Split Gas System. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

Great price and products. Fast, professional and clean removal of old units and installation of new equipment. These guys know what they are doing. Owner and technicians are friendly and honest. Would highly recommend for emergency situations.

Price was excellent. Scheduling was great and service techs arrived early and were very friendly. Removal of old unit and installation of new took under 6 hours to complete and property was left clean. A great experience and would recommend and/or use again.

Terrible customer service response! The installed a new unit and did not put a filter in the unit and did not find out for months when I went change filter. Called and the owner acted like an A double S. Did to take resposibilty and said it was normal not to put one in. He than got loud and not listening and hung up. The man should not warrant anther job. Bad attitude!

Mario came out, 10PM on a Wednesday, and saved our Dart Frogs lives rewiring our system to start pumping cold air as it should.

We were very pleased with the fast and friendly service explained everything to us before hand came out and looked at our unit for free before we bought a unit to make sure ours was not repairable the number one rated unit right now which is Lennox we would highly recommend this to others

I got 3 estimates by email after explaining what I wanted. They were quick and the price was in line with/better than my other quotes with no haggling or pressure. I should have asked more questions about the expected performance, though. I appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me, but I'm a little disappointed with the unit. They've sent service out a couple times to check and they've been very nice, but the new unit just can't keep up with the afternoon heat in August.

Had whole central AC system replaced. Good work and affordable pricing. Always quick about answering any questions I had. Brad is a pretty strait shooter. The guy they sent to repair my scuttle hole though does subpar work.

******Update***** 2/28/26
Had my system looked at by 2 different companys, because I wanted to make sure it was good for the summer coming up. They didn't give me very much good news. I was told the plenum for the air-out side is severely under sized, causing a bottleneck and making my system run at almost max amperage,causing damage. I figured out they actually used the old plenum for my previous 3 ton system, because it had my air scrubber in it, and they were too lazy to attach and fit a new one that fits my bigger 4 ton system. It also was not sealed properly and I can feel air being pushed out which means I'm losing a ton of air into the attic. I noticed this previously, and told them about this The last time always fair was out here doing a system check. Apparently they didn't even touch it and reseal it after I made them aware. I was told the return side plenum and ductworking was done completely wrong having two 90° angles from plenum to ductwork creating another bottleneck. My point is, I'm told that with the way it's running they don't expect the compressor and/or fan motor will last another summer because of it, and the system is only 4 years old. I always wondered why this new system didn't blow as good as my old one, and now I know why. I'm trying to contact always fair but I don't think they're in business anymore or have changed their company name. If you owners are reading this please contact me right away. I feel you need to fix this shoddy AC installation.

Special Thanks to the Office Manager, Rebecca. Extremely professional, courteous, and timely with their communication. My mother informed me that her AC went out and she had contacted a company who wanted to charge over $12,000.00 for a York AC Unit. I thought this was an exorbitant amount and began researching prices. I received a call (unexpectedly) from Rebecca, Who I will apologize to, for me being rude to her on the phone. I explained to her what was going on with my mother and she patiently listened and offered to send me a few quotes. She was not persistent, just compassionate and empathetic and warned me that I may be upset at the prices she offered in her quote. She was right, because it confirmed that my mother was getting over charged for the same exact unit and I invited my mother to cancel her scheduled service with the other company. Rebecca immediately scheduled a technician to arrive at my mothers place and took measurements on Tuesday mid afternoon. The unit was installed Thursday (today). Thank you to the crew and staff with "Always Fair Heating and Air", I sincerely appreciate your efforts, and to Rebecca, I thank you for your patience and understanding. Solid performance by a solid company!

Always Fair Heating & Air is a small company, and hence I admit that I had some reservations about their ability to deliver. But the two installers, Robert and Aslan, showed up today at 6:30 AM with the air conditioner model that I had specified, the crane arrived at 7, and the work was completed in just two hours.
Their speed of working meant that even though the installation was being done in the Phoenix area when the outdoor temperature was approaching 100 degrees, by the time they turned on the new unit the indoor temperature had not risen by more than a few degrees.
Using a handheld infrared thermometer, Aslan verified that the conditioned air temperature was the required number of degrees below the outdoor air and return air temperatures. And as they promised, a truck came by before noon to cart away the old unit.
Not only was the work done professionally and promptly, but based on other quotes I got for doing this install, the price I paid was more than fair. It even includes at no extra cost five years of twice-yearly maintenance visits.
I am grateful to Brad Woods, the general manager, for managing this job for me, and can give his company my heartiest recommendation.

Had a cooling fan issue on the compressor. The technician identified the problem was being created by the fan speed of the air handling unit in the attic. He took his time and reset the controls to their original specs and now we are having no issues. The problem wasn't due to faulty equipment, it was due to adjustments made by a previous tech. He has since been replaced! I highly recommend Always Fair Heating and Air.

We hired Brad and his team at Always Fair Heating and Air in the Winter to install a heat and Ac system in our rental in Cottonwood Az. Our tenants were freezing and we needed something fast. Everyone in Cottonwood was booked for weeks out but Brad was willing to drive all the way out to install our new system right away. There was no upcharge for the
distance to drive out. As a matter of fact his price was very reasonable just like his name says Always Fair. Everything worked great all winter. For some unexplainable reason the Ac system went out in the summer. Again he went the extra mile to honor the warranty driving great lengths to get parts quickly and taking calls on the weekend, nights and even fathers day. After a thorough assessment, and having tried everything the unit was not repairable. So he replaced the entire Ac at no charge.
I repeat he completely honored our warranty and we were not charged anything.

Brad is a good man who tries very hard to go the extra mile to keep your heat and Ac running smoothly!!!

Dealing with Brad and Rebecca was a pleasure and they were very professional and knowledge about my system. Their proposal was thorough and timely and the cost quoted was excellent and better than 5 others I had requested.
I would highly recommend using this company for all your A/C and heating needs. They also installed a new gas water heater and did an excellent job for a fair price.

We had our old HVAC units replaced and are so pleased. This company is quick to service, very polite, realistically priced, and friendly. They got the job done efficiently, have come back out to check on the units, and have been so pleasant to work with.

It was pleasant experience from the biding to the job completion to be involved with Brad and Always Fair Heating and Air. The requesting information , the bid , the schedule of work and the installing crew performance of the work was performed with out delay and with constant communications. The installers work with knowledge in performing the work and maintained a clean and safe work space. I would recommend Always Fair to anyone have heat or air problems.

Brad was thorough with his quote and, of course, fair in price. Crew showed up ON TIME (can't say that for many people nowadays) and professional. Had 2 units installed and working within 6 hours of arrival. Hauled away all the old stuff. We couldn't be happier! Scheduled service appointment for air conditioner. Had next day appointment availability only. Service technician never showed up for appointment and made several calls to the office who said “we sent technician a message”. Zero follow up after no showing from Always Fair.

This is zero star service and would never use this company. This has occurred twice with Always Fair booking appointments and failing to show.

Consumer be aware!

Changing my review ... After they installed 2 brand new heat pumps it appears it was hooked incorrectly. When you turn the heat on the AC comes and the heat pump only works in Auxiliary mode. I have called them numerous times and they never returned my calls. Every time I call I get the answering service. Always Fair has been Unfair to me ... Maybe I will change my review if the every contact me.
