We used king mechanical about 3 years ago when we replaced 3 ac units in our house. At first everything seemed great, install was much quicker than we expected, but everything seemed to have gone smooth.

The issues started about 2 months after install. The condensation pan to one of units started leaking, we called them out and they said there was a clog and that’s why it caused a leak in my ceiling. There should have been no clog, that should have been cleaned before it was installed. Then A few weeks later one of the brand new thermostats they installed stopped working, they pretty much told me I was on my own with that and I had to call the thermostat company and I ended up installing a new one myself. Now lets forward to November, so about 6 months after install, we try to turn the heat on down stairs and it doesn’t work, we call them back out. They came out and said they got the heat working, GREAT! fast forward a few months later we go to use the air where they fixed the heat… guess what the a/c doesn’t work 😂😡 we have had to call them out literally every 6 months because we can either get heat or a/c, but we can’t have both. Now it’s just about 3 years later, I have had 2 condensation pans leaks, and 2 out of the 3 brand new units do not work. They will not answer phone calls or texts. after this review I will also be reporting to the bbb and the ROC.

King Mechanical is amazing from top to bottom. I called them on a weekend and they were able to schedule me and get a crane in line for the AC swap on Monday.

I had a 12 year old unit that broke down twice this summer and got other companies to quote me for a 3 ton unit. Frank got me exactly what the competition offered for less (i compared model numbers)I ands able to get the install done quicker than anyone in the valley. Did I mention he lined everything up over the weekend yet still the most affordable option.

Don't pass on King Mechanical. They are passionate about being problem solvers, working with you and your needs and I can assure you I called a lot of places and his price was the best with the same labor warranty the others offered.

Our nearly 20 year old AC unit died. I remembered seeing a King Mechanical truck in our neighborhood and talking to the owner, who was happy with their equipment and work, so I called. I spoke directly with Frank, the owner, who helped me determine what kind of unit I needed and whether it would be cost effective to upgrade to a higher efficiency unit. The heat was miserable in the house, but Frank and crew were onsite at 8:30am the next morning, and he assured me "we won't leave until it's working." They finished a difficult install (unit in the attic and outside unit difficult to remove) at 7:30 pm and we had cooling once again. The price was reasonable for good equipment with a good warranty. They guys were hard working, clean, cheerful, and professional. I would use KIng Mechanical again, and recommend them to you for your heating/AC needs.

I collected many bids for replacing the A/C heat pump package for my home.  I found Francisco Marquez of King Mechanical to be the most competitive.  I don't usually take the lowest bid, but  when he came out to my home I felt more comfortable with him than any other vendor.  There was no pushiness.  He was very informative.  I purchased a nest thermostat and he installed it when he installed my A/C system.  He even taught me how to use this high tech stuff, and didn't ask to get paid for that.  Very clean work, and very professional.  His price was all inclusive, and there were no hidden fees.
Even though his business is relatively new, he advised me he has worked many years in this profession.  I got a good review from the board of registered contractors when I called to inquire about his company.

Our ac went out at my personal home and Frank was quick to respond. We literally had a new ac installed the next morning. Then a few days later my business ac went down and Frank assessed it quickly. great well organized team here and I am looking forward to working with them in the future. First ac company I ever met that actually cares about their customers and has reasonable prices.

Usually I do not write reviews but I chose to write one for this company even though I did not use their service. I was in need for 5T heat pump replacement. I called numerous vendors in valley for best price. Out of all vendors I had one of the best quote from Frank. Frank was very professional and provided me with many options with different price bases. His quotes were very good. I just could not use them as our schedule had a little conflict and Franks was very flexible to make it work for me but I did not have much flexibility on my end. I would recommend this company based on Frank's honesty and professionalism.

I had storm damage while away and came home to deal with insurance because of roof, AC/Heater damage with the casing open and return elbow vent shifted and detached from roof. My AC was only one year old. It was a Sunday and rain was expected soon. I contacted previous AC installers and 2 other companies. King was the only one who responded and offered to come out. My neighbor recommended them and I understand why. They are professional, very responsive and do a great job! Frank will work with you as well. He answered all my questions and concerns.

Francisco provided several reasonable options to replace our two Heat Pump/AC units. Once we decided on a brand the King Mechanical crew scheduled the replace according to our schedule. They were excellent in communicating when they would start and how the process would work (crew would come out and remove old units - replacement units would show up later in the day to be installed).

Francisco and his crew were courteous, polite, and were very good at cleaning up after themselves.

I appreciate that King Mechanical fills out and sends the warranty, rather than having to complete the registration myself.

I would highly recommend King Mechanical for a fair priced bid, expedient installation, and overall great experience.

King Mechanical is great. We had a dual phase heating/cooling system replaced and we were really impressed with the professionalism and pricing. Frank is very responsive and we were able to get something scheduled quickly. In addition, the team working on our house spent the time to make sure everything was working and our concerns were addressed. Overall, we were very impressed and grateful for King Mechanical!

Edit: Were 2 years after the installation and 1 year after installation we had some issues and found out that they installed our unit incorrectly and tried to jerry-rig it instead of installing it correct the first time. Now we are having issues because the fan shroud broke (manufacturer defect) and frank was supposed to order parts 5 months ago and haven't heard anything from him. After multiple times of us trying to get ahold of him we keep getting the run around and at this point id rather pay another company to come out and fix it. Would not recommend this company to anyone. 👎

Amazing service! Frank came out on Monday afternoon to get measurements of our 35 year old ac unit that was down and got us a brand new unit and thermostat installed at 8am Wednesday morning. The service was so fast and easy!

Came out promptly and fixed a unit that a large company said was not worth fixing in an attempt to sell me a new unit for an excessive price. That same large company sold me a “start assist “ component that that I recently discovered I did not need. It is worth going with a smaller company with a lower overhead. King Mechanical was prompt, efficient and ethical. I highly recommend them.

Frank saved me 11k over the completion and had my new unit up and running in 1 day. Amazing customer service. Thanks again Frank!

8 years ago My A/C broke and it needed to be replaced I called King mechanical the owner came to my house in 30 minutes he gave me an amazing deal on a new A/C unit. The installers came in record time and installed the new A/C unit. This is a wonderful company I am extremely satisfied with there work. Friendly professional and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a problem with a different one of my AC units. Frank pulled through again turned out. I had to replace this one too. (Unit was over 20 years old.) He got it done in record time came to look at my unit at 10:30 AM. Ordered the new unit and it was installed within 4 hours of first contact. Everyone on his crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’d recommend this company to anyone.

After interviewing a bunch a of bigger name companies, I was getting astronomical quotes for replacing my units by their sales guys. I was referred to Frank who quickly sent an actual AC tech, and quickly informed me that the problem was actually different and didn’t even require a unit replacement. For honest and professional service and great pricing I cannot recommend enough.

I had a few other quotes for a new air conditioning unit on my home in Tempe, but Frank came out and gave an extremely fair price right away without any going back and forth- felt comfortable with him, and could tell he has a lot of experience and confidence about his work and business. I would give him 5 stars just for being up front, honest, and for giving me a good price without any pushy sales hoopla. Grateful to have this new unit before the summer temps invade! Nothing but great things to say about King Mechanical. During our annual tune up appointment through my home warranty, they recommended replacing our aging unit. Being the adult I am, I decided to do this prior to the full summer heat coming.

I called around and got quotes from various services and through a few memberships I have like a warehouse club. Despite the free snacks this warehouse club provides, their quote was outlandish.

At the advice of a pal, I called King's and was connected with Frank. He was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone which was VERY reasonable, and sent his team out to do some preliminary spec-ing.

Our estimate did increase a bit due to some custom metal work needing to be done based on the configuration of our old unit/home, but it was still VERY reasonable. A few days later, the custom work was done and Frank's team came out with a crane to do out install.

The entire process was seamless, painless and a breeze. Big adult purchases like this can be scary, but the entire King's team kept me informed and confident throughout the process. A few hours later their expert team had completed the work and we're as ready as we can be with a brand new unit before the summer.

10/10 recommend and will likely use for any HVAC projects we have come up in the future. Thanks so much for the great service guys!
