Horrible agent over the phone. Multiple instances have i needed to call to request an update on a service call that has been deemed an emergencyupon their standards and multiple times has this emergency been pushed further back. After requesting status updates I have been told that a callback will be required but have yet to receive one. I have worked in the service industry most of my life and so usually try to give the benefit of the doubt but after 5 separate instances of this in one day I would consider that a negative cultural quality being fostered. Technicians are friendly and seem to do what they can as every time they have left issue is non apparent but with brand new units there shouldn't be this level of poor performance

Amazing company! Highly recommend. The service manager Cheyenne was extremely professional and made my experience absolutely wonderful. No one ever hopes to need an AC company do repairs but when you do you'll be happy with the level of care you'll receive from Velox Air. Professional and friendly staff who truly care about making your system work properly. Will use them in the future no questions asked!

Velox Air was sent out from my warranty company and after reading some of the reviews I figured right away probably nothing to worry about and that I would have to keep my thumb on the warranty Co....I was absolutely correct. The warranty company took a week to get it's act together then ordered parts to send over to Velox Air. Within one day of receiving the parts we scheduled for next day install and things went quickly and smoothly. Everyone was polite professional and courteous. Thanks for the great service!

Velox Air is not a company you should trust for HVAC maintenance or installation. They’re nothing more than a bargain-bin contractor hired by developers to install HVAC systems at the lowest bid, and the poor quality of their work is evident in our community.

We bought a brand new home in April 2021 and had problems from the start. The wiring was botched, causing the AC upstairs to trigger the heat downstairs. While that was a quick fix, the real nightmare began this year.

In April, we discovered a roof leak directly under the AC unit. Upon inspection, we found out that Velox had set the unit on untreated 2x4 redwoods without any sacrificial strip or sheathing to distribute the weight. This caused the wood to break through the elastomeric coating, allowing water to pour into our house. There are a number of other homes in our community that were installed incorrectly as well. Meanwhile, other homes in the neighborhood had proper 4x4 supports and metal curbs.

I got an estimate for the roof damage and contacted Velox. A rep named Jonathan came out, admitted their mistake, and promised they would help cover the repairs. He assured me he would talk to his manager and get back to me ASAP. That was just the beginning of a months-long runaround. By June, they had completely stopped returning my calls and emails.

Under no circumstances should anyone use Velox Air for any HVAC-related service. They are a cheap, corner-cutting operation that leaves homeowners to deal with the mess they create. The damages to our roof and ceiling cost us over $4,000, which we had to pay out of pocket because of their incompetence.

This is a disgraceful, unprofessional company that you should avoid at all costs.

Velox technician Adrian did an excellent job! He fix the problem that our home warranty builder wasn't able to fix the issue with our brand new unit. I would highly recommend velox to ensure your a/c unit if working efficiently and safe!

Not sure how I would rate the company overall but our latest tech John was great! In a new build with Velox air unit. He was super helpful. Offered info beneficial to us. Was empathetic about us having to get some things repaired. Wanted to do the job right and he did.
We have been in house for a year and had them out a few times. Things kept coming up after a tech was just here. Drain pan bent, a pipe not insulated... within 5 months of moving in we had a broken ac condensation line broke caused mold remediation. Not sure if that is on Velox or the builder though.. but anyway John with Velox is great!!! Thank you John.

Velox company did terrible the past year diagnosing my AC unit at my residence. Every two months my AC would go out (yes I kept up with maintenance) and they’d send out a technician telling us a sensor needed to be replaced or maybe you have a hole in your lines that need to be plugged. Maybe you need more refrigerant all for me to go to another company and they tell me none of that was the problem. The problem is my AC compressor has completely gone out. (I live in a brand new house).

This faulty AC has cause my energy bill to be sky high all year long all due to Velox sending out in experienced technicians. I do not recommend them to anyone due to their terrible service and lack of communication.

My parents had services done this past Tuesday. They have a new built home so they had no choice but to use this company due to their home warranty. They came out changed a capacitor.. after a couple hours unit was not cooling & the temp was rising. My father has medical issues and was left in the heat for hours and they kept telling him was he on the schedule. They even stopped taking his calls!!! I then reached out to them because I myself work in the HVAC industry & this is unacceptable!!! I asked to speak to a manager but he wasn’t available I AM STILL WAITING ON A CALL BACK FROM THE MANAGER RICARDO!!!! Today is Thursday!!! My dad reached out to them several times letting them know the issue they were experiencing. It took them hours to send their sister company to get my parents house to start cooling to find out their previous tech put in the WRONG CAPACITOR!!!! If you can avoid using this company PLEASE DO SO!!! If I could give them a -100 stars I would!!!!

Worst AC company that I have ever experienced. Our new home builder went with this company, so we had no other choice. We had an appointment because the new AC unit wouldn't drop the temperature. The service tech came and didn't have a gauge. I'm no expert, but I believe that's the first thing they should carry to check a unit. Then he kept changing the story of what was wrong with the unit. They supposedly figured it out, and we made a new appointment, but they never showed up after my wife took 1 day off work for the first service, then took another day off for the appointment. They didn't show up. We even called, and the lady who answered the phone confirmed our appointment. After the appointment time was missed, I called again and left a voice message never got a call back. Now the temperature in AZ is rising and we have small kids at home that I let them know, but guess what, they didn't care because I still haven't gotten a call back. If it wasn't because of the warranty that the builder told me we had, I would have used another company. When the warranty expires from this company, I'm definitely running away from it. I had to get an Airbnb because the house got way too hot for my small kids. I will never recommend this company.

Been trying to swallow this. My new home inspection found that Velox removed the liquid tight connector from the unit to pass their thermostat and condenser wire through the same hole… potentially rubbing and shorting out the wires.

Chad the super from lennar said they had to keep coming back and reassured me they would fix it.

Fast forward a week we move in and I jump in just to verify they fixed it and found this bullshit repair. They can it through the coil panel, which passes across the blower into the electrical compartment. The manufacturer tells you in the manual how to run line and low voltage.

If I gotta pull the motor or coil out, or take the panel off I have to remove the low voltage wires completely.

This is pretty sad.

I am in Arizona from out of state to prepare my first investment property for AirBnB. We decided to install an AC unit in an out building so that it could function a quiet office space for guests away from the house but I did not have any contacts for HVAC work. Jayden came highly recommended from our landscaper and he more than exceeded our expectations!

Jayden came out to assess the project and promptly gave us a very fair written estimate. We hired Jayden for the AC install but expanded the scope of work to include electrical work for a bathroom addition. All work was performed to perfection - on time, budget, and executed very neatly!

Jayden also filed the permit his work and helped us with another permit that went late into the night.

And were able to get it going, while they got me a great deal for a new one w/warranty before the old one died while on its last leg. They also replaced my vintage 😊thermostat. They are clean, organized, and trustworthy! They did a great job! I’m now a devoted customer!

Was given this distributorship information by manufacturer, and called Niko last week looking for a tip to a vendor who can install their system. Not only did Niko give me a name, he asked that contractor to reach out to me, which led to an installation being completed a few days later. Great approachability, exemplary customer service focus and quick response - all great attributes in a company.
