This company was recommended because I had a tankless water heater. My tech Jessie Green worked directly with Rennai on my issue. He couldn’t come on the originally scheduled day but my issue wasn’t urgent. He came the next day and was professional and kind.

Ignacio was very polite and very fast. He tried to come on time but he had a hard time finding the townhouse. So hewent to help a couple other plumbers. And then he came back when I gave him the directions of where I was. They seem a little Expensive, but plumbers are I guess. He got the job done and He was very professional and Ignacio was very nice and very polite. And he didn’t try to oversell me on anything which I really do appreciate. They were very honest to do business with I would do business with them again.

So happy with my experience with Custom Plumbing of AZ. Charlie was the best, he is the plumber that helped us s change our water main valve. He went above and beyond anything we could have asked for! Highly recommend this company. Definitely recommend Charlie gets a raise!

Very impressed with Custom Plumbing and particularly my plumber, Andrew. He found issues I didn't know existed and immediately called for mitigation to prevent further damage. The toilets he installed are working perfectly. His attention to detail is above reproach and I've asked that he install the final toilet once repairs are complete. Very grateful to have found a plumbing company I can rely on for any future needs.

Simple Fix - I was having issues with my pilot light, on my water heater, staying on. Miguel came to the house and helped to assist me with getting the pilot light lit. Miguel was courteous, nice and willing to answer any questions. Their ability to come to my house within a short window was very helpful. I will use them again if ever I need a plumber!!!

Very disappointed – please get a second opinion

I contacted this plumbing company because my water heater was not producing proper hot water, even though the unit is relatively new (installed in 2022 in a new-build home).

The technicians came out and, after only a brief inspection, told me the problem was the shower cartridges and insisted they needed to be replaced. I explained multiple times that the issue was not just the showers — all sinks, including the kitchen sink, were also not getting hot water. My concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and I was told the sinks were “fine.”

I then asked for pricing and was quoted $500 to replace the cartridges. However, when they returned the next day, the price unexpectedly changed to $500 PER shower, which was not what had been communicated before. This felt extremely misleading. Considering the cartridges themselves cost about $80 each, the labor estimate seemed excessive.

What concerned me most was when I asked if they guaranteed the repair would fix the problem. I was told they could not guarantee it and that there would be no refund even if it didn’t work. At that point, I declined the service.

To make matters worse, this same company also sent a second technician earlier who told me my entire water heater needed to be replaced — which turned out to be completely false.

My father (an engineer) replaced the cartridges himself — and, as I suspected, it did not solve the issue.

I then called another plumber for a second opinion. He walked in, looked at the water heater for a few seconds, identified an open valve mixing cold and hot water, closed it, and the problem was immediately fixed. The total charge was $20.

Overall, I felt my concerns were ignored, the diagnoses were inaccurate, and the pricing was inconsistent and excessive. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs or replacements.

I recently had an excellent experience with Mark Auld from Custom Plumbing of Arizona, and I can honestly say he is the best plumber I’ve ever worked with.

I called about a water leak near my meter, and Custom Plumbing of Arizona quickly diagnosed it as an underground mainline leak where the PVC pipe connected to the gate valve at the meter. The repair was no small job — the line was buried nearly three feet deep — but Mark worked tirelessly to excavate the area and properly stub up the line with copper, reconnecting the service line to the meter the right way.

What impressed me most was how meticulous and thorough he was. He carefully explained the problem, took photos, and walked me through everything so I fully understood what was happening. Even though he was covered in mud from digging all day, he remained incredibly professional, friendly, and positive.

After a full day of hard work, Mark even returned the next day to check his work and he fixed a small pinhole leak on the meter to make absolutely sure the job was completely finished. That level of follow-through and integrity is rare.

Throughout the process, Mark was always responsive to my calls and texts and kept me updated. His communication, workmanship, and attitude truly set the standard for what service should look like.

Mark Auld represents his company exceptionally well and builds real trust with customers. This is exactly the kind of experience every homeowner hopes for. I highly recommend Custom Plumbing of Arizona — and if you can request Mark, do it!

Custom plumbing was the first company to call me back when I needed help. The technician that arrived, Andrew Marquez, was professional, courteous, and easy to speak with. He reassured me that he could get things resolved quickly and at a reasonable price, which is rare these days.

Andrew kept me informed at every stage of the project, made himself available for follow up questions and worked hand in hand with the restoration company to fix my plumbing and subsequent water damage. I have worked with several plumbing companies, but none of them came close to providing this level of client focused service. I will always call Andrew for this home, or any home in the future.

We had a shower with a very slow drain. I scheduled a service time online. The technician showed up on time. He quickly got to work and had the drain sorted in about 40 minutes. The area was cleaned up and the price was what he quoted.

Mark showed up early, ready to go to work. Surveyed the job. Quoted me the cost and was on the job immediately. Would be glad to see Mark show up for any job I needed done.

Technician Mason was very helpful and informative. We called for service the day before Thanksgiving and received service within a few hours.

Nice workers!

Steep price. Won’t give price until they come out. Once they are there and give the price it is not convenient to decline and have to call out another company.

They did great work, but it would feel better if they gave an estimate BEFORE coming out especially since they said there was a flat base charge. Not giving a base or typical estimate up-front is an obvious tactic because no one wants to get back on the phone and make an appointment with another company and wait for them to arrive. Once they are there it is more convenient to just have them do the work even though the price is toward the very high side, based upon some internet research.

Great Service ! Called this morning to service a dishwasher drain and they were here within a couple hours and got the job done quick and easy. Thank you we will be using you again in the future !
