Brad and his team at Wyman Mechanical – Plumbing did outstanding work on an extremely challenging drain issue in our building.

Brad personally came out twice to evaluate the situation, and on the second visit brought Freddy, who is exceptionally skilled with specialized tools. Rather than rushing to an expensive solution, they took the time to fully diagnose the problem and develop the most efficient, cost-effective plan. They carefully considered timing, noise impact, cleanliness, and overall disruption to the building.

Ultimately, Freddy returned over the weekend to complete the work, successfully clearing a 3" drain that was packed with approximately 8–10 inches of compacted dirt and clay. Other contractors had recommended breaking through concrete and walls to replace the pipe — a massive and unnecessary expense that would have required a general contractor, concrete work, and wall repair.

Thanks to Brad and Freddy’s expertise and professionalism, we avoided a very costly future repair and significant disruption. Their problem-solving approach saved us a substantial amount of money, and we are extremely grateful. I would not hesitate to recommend Wyman Mechanical to any property manager or building owner looking for honest, skilled, and thoughtful plumbing professionals.

I found Wyman through their great Google reviews. We had a leak at the main water meter in our yard. Setting up the appointment was easy and communications were good with confirmation of service and text/email notices that the technician was on his way.
Anthony arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He handed us a brochure on their membership as soon as he got out of his truck in salesman mode. He identified the issue and gave us a quote to replace two valves for $941. Not knowing what something like this should cost, we agreed to it. The job took 45 minutes.
He went on to identify other plumbing needs with quotes of what he could do the job for, some of which we were aware of, but nothing that was urgent. Felt like he was more of a salesman than a plumber. We said we appreciated his imput but we were going to hold off. I was feeling uncomfortable with the nearly $1000 for work that took less than an hour.
I contacted two plumbing companies to get a quote on the work we had done. One gave me a quote of $400 and the other $450. I also looked for the retail cost of the 2 valves which totaled about $130. Even with expected markup for the parts, that's a huge service fee.
It's unfortunate, because we do have lots of plumbing work that needs to be done, but we won't use Wyman's, nor recommend them. I did call their office and share my frustration. Julie who took the call was very sympathetic and said she appreciated the feedback...end of story.

Anthony P. came to my house to install a new RO System. He was very good about explaining everything to me, showed me what he was doing, and gave me options for placement of the system. He's someone who's a pleasure to have in your home, and since he's extremely knowledgeable, he answers questions directly and honestly. He also installed a new water pressure regulator value, as mine was underperforming; since it was close to ten years old. It was a pleasure watching someone do their craft with excellence, as he really enjoys what he does!

Anthony P was the technician who inspected our home. He was professional, answered all our questions and performed the needed maintenance. I feel like we were very well taken care of due to the fact that Anthony is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing, water quality, reverse osmosis, etc. I definitely recommend Wyman Plumbing!

We had Wyman install a tankless water heater back in May and were very pleased with the results. They just came out to service our R O system and the tech, Anthony, was fantastic. He was very polite, professional and made sure we were satisfied before he left. We will continue to use Wyman for all our plumbing needs.

We contacted Wyman Plumbing to give us a quote to re-route a broken main sewer line. Brad came out and looked at what needed to be done and answered all of our questions. It was a 3 day projec, and they kept us informed of what they were doing every day and they even sent us pictures and text messages each day. Brad, Joey, Henry and Kris and Laysha were all very nice, polite and respectful throughout the entire project. Wyman Plumbing did a great job and we highly recommend them.

We had a hot water tank that was leaking and needed to be replaced. The tank was very old and did not owe us anything! Erik did the service call. He was very personable and professional. He gave us options and recommendations regarding a new tank and went above and beyond saying that he could replace the tank for us the same day. The bio and picture that was attached to the text to me that indicated that he was on the way, was a nice personal touch. I felt like I knew a little bit about Eric before he even arrived to our home. I would give both Wyman and Eric 5 stars! Highly, highly recommended!

We’ve used Wyman twice now. Once to upgrade some plumbing issues noted in our home inspection and later for a minor water softener filter issue (not their installation) and a free plumbing inspection (which was actually free!). Anthony was our technician on the second visit. He was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Would definitely use Wyman again.

Anthony installed new water softener tanks, new hot water heater and many new angle stops. He clearly explained our needs and options. He explained how long the installations would take and what to expect. The work was done quickly efficiently and with the utmost care. We can't thank Wyman enough for being very flexible and working with us on a crazy schedule, especially as we are new customers with no history with them! We needed some flexibility with replacing a hot water heater and also removing-replacing the drywall behind it (mold remediation). Not only was it not a problem, they scheduled us for the next day! They came out first thing and removed it then came back a few hours later to install the new one (drywall work done in the meantime). Scottin was a great technician, very detailed and dedicated, and a friendly person. We really appreciated his extra effort. We have been wanting to find a good, reliable plumbing company and Wyman is definitely it!

We were experiencing banging pipes in the early morning hours for several days running. I called Wyman Plumbing and Mechanical and spoke with a gracious and helpful receptionist. She listened and took very good notes for her colleagues, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. They sent a text message introduction ahead of the people who were coming over, so we would know their names and something about them. Eric and Henry communicated with us via text messaging the following morning to let us know they were on their way, and arrived on time as scheduled. Which helped us plan our work time and take care of our dogs. Eric and Henry performed diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the problem and a solution. They were friendly and very knowledgeable, and we had a very informative discussion of the problem and they helped us understand what is going on and their strategy for fixing it. They invited questions and listened to us. They gave us a bid proposal that we signed off on and scheduled the repairs for the next week. Again, Eric communicated via text and arrived on time to make the repairs. The work was performed exactly as described and within the time frame described. The craftsmanship is amazing! The soldering and welding of the copper pipes is beautiful to behold and absolutely clean. They stayed within their estimate of costs, and there was never any pressure to go beyond the job at hand. Friendly and gracious customer service. Excellent craftsmanship. Straight forward and honest. Our new go to plumbers.

I first used Wyman Plumbing four years ago to extend a gas line for a firepit. Father and sons did a fantastic job. So four years later I reached out to them to install a whole house water leak monitor and replace all my builder installed water shutoff valves with quarter turns. This time it was another fantastic all pro job done by the two sons Erik and Henry. I love when I can find family businesses that do a great job for a good price. Thanks guys.
