We had a very frustrating experience with West Coast Plumbing & Air. We are renters, and our homeowner hired them to fix our heater, which did not work the entire winter.

A technician came out about two weeks ago and said there was an issue that would require additional work or a part, but since we are not the homeowners, very little was explained to us. Last week, the company contacted me to schedule another technician to come re-evaluate the issue. At that point, we were two days away from moving, with boxes throughout the house.

The second technician claimed he was able to get the heater working and told the homeowner the issue was caused by boxes blocking an air vent. This explanation does not make sense given that the heater had not worked for months and a different issue was identified during the first visit.

Additionally, when the technician arrived, he saw that I was carrying my nine-month-old baby, who was asleep in my arms. I went into the master bedroom to breastfeed him and keep him asleep. Instead of leaving, calling, or texting when he finished, the technician walked through my home yelling my name, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional.

The lack of consistent diagnosis, poor communication, and ultimately placing blame on us after months without heat was extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company.

Taylor was excellent! Very thorough and knowledgeable. Helped me with replacing my water heater. Will use this company again because of him.

On time. Personable. Took out the non working soft water unit. Great job. And while he was working, his AC co-worker showed up to give my AC unit a tune up.

Matt H just spent 3 hours getting my a/c up and running. He replaced blown fuses, installed my new Sensi smart thermostat, showed me how to clean cat hair from the condenser coils and stayed while I set up the thermostat, waited to check it, we had issues with it blowing hot again so he fixed that issue too. I'm very impressed with his kindness, dedication and ability to fix several issues. I highly recommend Matt H. Best service ever.

The entire process has been quick and easy. Taylor, Noah and David have been fantastic during my first real plumbing issue in my house. They have guided me through all the steps they were going to perform and always checked in with me about their progress. We had basically ended up doing a bathroom remodel and I couldn’t recommend this company and these specific workers more highly. We will be using them in the future for any and all of our plumbing needs!

So I don’t like writing reviews on companies because I believe that direct communication will more often than not give the merchant an opportunity to make a wrong my right. But, in this case they still wanted to charge me for themselves incorrectly installing a hot water heater. So back in March of 2022 they came out and put a New Hot water heater in my house that replaced my 4 year old heater that seemed a little odd but they assured me they were going to resolve my issues by putting in a top of the line unit which was not cheap!
So I was outa state when my wife gave me a call on 12/2/25 telling me water was shooting out all over the inside of the water heater closet and running all over the floor. So I jumped in my car and drove 5 hrs home to find another plumber there saying the tank needed to be replaced. So I called the tank company Bradford White and they told me they improperly installed the tank by not installing a Thermal Tank unit to keep the pressure in the water heater from blowing, and because they did that I will no longer have a warranty on my tank. So we will be without hot water until a New Tank is installed.
I told them I will be sending them a bill for the installation of the New unit. I was told to Have a Nice Day🥲

Deer Valley Plumbing is an excellent company to do business with and especially Noah S the plumber who came to our home. Noah is personable and professional and went to great lengths to solve our problem. I got prompt scheduling when I called. For future plumbing needs Deer Valley Plumbing is who I'll use and Noah is who I'll ask for.

Main sewer Line repairs. I was extremely satisfied with the work they. They worked 2 days. I’m on fixed income and they helped me out on costs. They were polite and showed me the root blockage. I was highly satisfied and would recommend them.

Noah was a good technician. I’m only giving two stars because Deer Valley Plumbing wanted over $800 for the small pipe leak attached to my outside hose bib. It was probably less than $20 in parts and not even an hour of labor. I told the technician to forget it and he then said he would talk to his manager and then miraculously lowered the price to just over $500 (which is still a bit high). I will give this company another chance but if they pull this crap again I will never use them again.

Mike was awsome! On time and thorough inspection for a home we are under contract to purchase. The extra effort Mike put into his work was greatly appreciated! If you need plumbing work please ask for Mike at Deer Valley Plumbing.

Horrible company who poisoned my family (manganese) because they didn't flush the system and install properly. After calling poison control, they figured out it was the water system (we had black stains in our toilets). My dog, children and myself had to get blood work done to prove this was in our system. It was terrifying. The company response? They bought a refrigerator filter for our 3 month old brand new fridge, and flushed the system that should have been done in the first place. We hired this company after their water heater broke after just one year. The did not back up the warranty claiming our pipes were old, and instead sold us a $7000 water heater and new water system they had to install. We were without water for 9 full days while they did this install, we were told it would take 2 days max. During the install, they knocked one of my garage storage nearly trapping my husband, and breaking our entire commercial snack bar equipment, as well as smashing an antique doll house passed down from my family. Taking zero accountability. My kids had to live at my parents while this work was being done, we had no compensation for the hotels we had to stay in for showers, restrooms and cooking. We received NO money off of the $7000 purchase price, and the horror continued for weeks after we were diagnosed with this poisoning. It gets worse.....3 months after this installation, the shotty work caused a leak in our garage. the company sent a restoration company to cut out our drywall, and it has now been 3 weeks an our water is disconnected, no dry wall replaced, and no communication in when this will be repaired. Oh, and still no refund or reimbursement for this nightmare.

We had a Main Line water leak to our House..
Deer Valley Plumbing was able to Bore under Driveway to replace line with PEX “A” with a 25 yr warranty..
Ethan, Taylor & Dave did a stellar job & our yard looked like it had never been touched..
Can’t express are happiness enough with the work, it only took them less than a day to complete & water was only off for an hour or so..

I had Deer Valley Plumbing & Air Conditioning replace a shower/tub valve, including the trim in an old insert tub/shower assembly. Noah was the technician and he had to cut and install a remodel (Smitty) plate before installing everything. Noah was fantastic. He has great customers service skills and he demonstrated strong professional knowledge. He did a great job. Plus the price worked well for me. I'll call them again soon for my second bath tub/shower valve assembly. Thanks again.
