We were referred to Arizona Carpet and Restoration for hot water heater water damage repair. They were excellent! They sent out someone to determine the repairs needed who did a thorough job, making sure that all the damage was addressed in their estimate to our insurance company. They sent us a copy of the estimate and Cindy (in their office) called to make sure that we were in agreement with everything.
It was a complicated procedure to minimize any inconvenience to me ... the new hot water heater had been installed the week before, and they would have to remove it to do all the repairs and then reinstall it. J. Fernando and William were very professional and conscientious doing all the repairs and reinstalling the hot water heater. Craig Wakefield was instrumental in fixing the plumbing so that the solar water system and hot water heater worked together efficiently and took the time to explain to me how it all works. I have to admit that as far as I understood when it was originally installed, it was 'magic'. I was delighted to have it explained to me.
Cindy Drascic was so very helpful throughout the process, especially when I had some time constraints and restrictions that required her to make adjustments to our appointments.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Great company, with fantastic service.

Patrick M and Michael D have been wonderful to work with. They are kind, polite and considerate of my home and our schedules. That show up on time and were very knowledgeable about the repair process. I appreciate the level of service.

I contacted a few companies about cleaning our upstairs (2 bedrooms, hallway and stairs) carpet. AZ Carpet & Restoration had the best price and the friendliest service. Shortly after making an appointment I received an email with a confirmation. The email contained the name and a photo of the Carpet Professional who would be coming to our home. I found this information extremely helpful and definitely gave me peace of mind.
He arrived exactly on time, was extremely friendly and got right to work. I was impressed with his knowledge of removing our particular stains from our carpet (pet stains). The whole process took about 2 hours.
WOW! What a difference! Our carpet looked fantastic and smelled wonderful! With such wonderful prices and service I will have my carpets cleaned far more often and I am definitely a life time customer of AZ Carpet & Restoration.

Fire restoration is definitely their specialty. Great communication, fast response time, and good quality work. I have had nothing short of an amazing experience with their transparency. You’ll never need to go somewhere else with them!

Dealing with ACR was fine. The sub-contractors were very nice guys, but did not seem very qualified. We were told that they used Youtube videos to figure out how to complete certain projects. This seems more in line with a DIYer, rather than a qualified professional. They cut various corners to get our project done and it shows even to this day. We’ve elected to resolve these issues without ACR because, by their contract, we are unable to utilize alternative subcontractors who may be more qualified. We no longer wanted them in our home, and if we are unable to get qualified people, we’d rather seek resolution elsewhere.

There was also a myriad of contractual issues caused solely by our project manager. He was fired during our project and we only found out because someone left a business card at our home which puzzled us because ACR suggested we move out temporarily. So they were well aware we weren’t home, but never reached out via telephone as they had before. In essence, they were deliberately avoiding us, or that’s what it seemed at least.

I had to ask the subcontractors to stop washing their paint brushes in our bathroom sinks. I am still finding chunks of paint in our plumbing. I cannot explain how frustrating this is, and is the reason why several months later I am posting this review. We are currently investigating the extent of the issue.

We ended up compromising with the situation and electing to move forward without ACR. The situation was emotionally distressful to begin with, and we were so left in the dark that we never felt any relief until everyone was gone.

UPDATE: The owner’s assumption that this is a fake review is inaccurate. They are well aware of our project since we have had numerous warranty issues that they’ve had to come and fix. I was told my review was read and acknowledged. I was told the former project manager was a “dirtbag” and a “car salesman”. I’m not sure why the owner is acting as though this review is inaccurate. I was also told that the subcontractors that were assigned to us are no longer with ACR.

I find it kind of disappointing that the owner chose to discredit this review rather than just take accountability, especially being dismissive about the paint brush comment.

Nothing in this review was rude or subjective; all based on facts — most of which his employees have shared with me. Nevertheless, I fully expect the owner to go on the defensive to my edit as he has on all the other reviews. He is well aware of our project, the firing of our manager, and the subcontractors that were assigned to my project.

Last Edit: BEWARE - this company is having employees provide positive reviews on here. Several have been reported and deleted but there are probably a few still remaining. The gentleman that did our walk-through was providing review as if he was a customer. This is incredibly ironic considering the owner is accusing many reviews of being false. Dishonesty seems to be their thing.

I own a condo. The mitigation team was there from ACR they dried out the property my condo was in shambles and it took a while for my insurance to approve the work done which was explained to me in detial by our PM. Once that was done it was done swiftly and beautifully. I want to thank ACR for their attention to detail and getting it done so quickly and flawlessly. Appreciate my rebuild team for all their hard work from begginging to end.

I wanted to share my positive experience with ACR. After my water heater flooded my entire garage, causing extensive damage, ACR responded immediately and handled all the coordination with the insurance company. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone.

ACR was referred to us by our insurance company after we experienced a garage fire on our newly built home. It was a really hard trial to endure and required us to put faith in this company in order to restore what we had so unexpectedly lost. To be completely candid, the majority of the process was rough. We faced a lot of uncertainty because the property manager that was assigned to our property, John, was incompetent and extremely shady. He hired family members and friends to do shoddy work and lied to us about being able to recover what we had originally had installed in our home. We built this home intentionally and had hand picked everything we wanted during that time, so to be told over and over again that things we once had were no longer on the market was upsetting but at the time we unfortunately trusted that he was telling us the truth. Fast forward past a lot of hardship that I will not include in this review to spare the company as I do think that the owner is a man of integrity, we find out that John was fired and we were re assigned a new project manager, Matt. Matt was great. He ended up firing the horrible contractors when they once again provided terrible work, and he, himself, did a majority of the work and re work to get the home looking close to what it had before. Aside from a few snags that are more or less expected, he was able to complete the home restoration. When things came up from the dishonesty of the initial project manager, John, Zack the owner, addressed it quickly. I wish we would have had the experience the first six months as we did the last month of the project, bit the important thing is that the company recognized the employee was awful, and they let him go, then they proceeded to make things right. The one thing I would like to make sure potential customers know, is that if you call for a possible maintenance issue, and they find that the issue is not a maintenance one, you will get billed and it's not a small amount. Because we had to deal with shoddy work for a majority of the process, we are a more than a little uneasy about things that appear wrong. We called about a leak in the garage ceiling and the company cut the dry wall to inspect where the water was coming from. They determined it was not from the work they performed and we were told we would be billed for the patch but that it wouldn't be much. We received the ledger and I guess their idea of what a little is and my idea are not the same. So my advise would be to get a quote before allowing them to do any potential warranty inspections and keep insurance in the loop just as a protection to you and your family. All in all, I wouldn't discourage anyone from using ACR as in the end, the owner made things right and the second project manager was more than qualified and efficient. Unfortunately we just had a really bad experience for most of the process and the "little" surprise bill after didn't feel upfront and particularly ethical, but that's one persons opinion.

Hired this company to restore after flooring and cabinet issue. Less than one month after repair, my kitchen sink fell into the cabinet and broke my granite countertop. They refused to accept responsibility. Will file complaints with ROC, BBA and obtain legal representation. Do not contract with these people.

We had a water leak and they responded so fast and took good care of us. Thanks to Jason Goodnight, Tyler Dodd, Mario and Rapheal

ACR just finished a big job for us and I couldn’t be happier. They are well organized and tell you exactly what will happen in each phase and how long it will take. A++ on communication. Each person I worked with was very professional and excellent in what they do. I highly recommend this company. Price is very fair. You never know these days…you can trust ACR to get the job done right the first time. Thank you!🤘

Very positive experience having Arizona Construction & Restoration do the mediation work. Jason Goodnight did an excellent job explaining how the whole process works with insurance claims. Looking forward to having them finish the job once I hear back from the insurance company.

We recently met Shauna and referred a client to her. She responded quickly and professionally, and our client shared that she was polite, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Based on this great experience, we’ll definitely be referring more of our clients to her in the future!

Jeffrey and Steve are amazing. They were always available whenever I reached out to them. I described my vision to them and they caught that vision and made it a reality. Thanks to AZ Construction and all the hard-working, professional, and talented employees. If you are still looking -- STOP -- you have found the best of the best. Maria & Pat

Outstanding work.....Rafael and his team worked in a very professional, neat, and clean manner. From their assessment, communication, preparation of area, dust control , clean up and discussing the next steps to take. Their focus was primarily on controlling and handling any moisture or possible mold within the interior walls. Very satisfied, and would highly recommend Arizona Construction & Restoration. You will not be disappointed.

    1. Duration: It took ACR 6 months with at least 5 extensions to complete reconstruction on a 3 bedroom home. They did drywall/baseboards, cabinets, and countertops. Add in 2 small demolition jobs that took them one day each to finish. We were out of our home from January - mid July. They repeatedly promised our insurance adjuster that they would be finished in April. I should make it clear that NONE of the extensions were due to anything we did or didn’t do and all of the reasons were due to internal issues with the company and subcontractors.
    2. Employee/Internal issues/contract violations: Our first project manager was fired after he allowed a drywall subcontractor to bring his BABY to work with him in our home. We stopped by our house one day to check on things and our son’s outdoor toys were brought inside and there were used diapers and pizza everywhere. The hose was running and our backyard was flooded and the guy took our house key home with him. There were multiple items in my backyard that were broken and damaged as if the boy had paint/drywall on his hands. The little kid dribbled all over freshly painted white walls with a pencil. I had to call and report this to ACR- I also had to be the one to initiate that the drywall guy be taken off the job due to the danger of the little boy being hurt as there were nails and sharp objects all over the house at this point. When we got a new project manager, he tells us that he walked in and saw the little boy “running around butt naked”. Then he proceeds to tell us that the drywall guy wasn’t even in our home. HIS WIFE WAS DOING OUR DRYWALL!!! This clearly violates ACR’s own contract which states that all subcontractors are licensed as an UNLICENSED woman did our entire drywall in our home.
    3. Unprofessionalism/ Poor communication: Our first project manager was weird- I would ask him questions and he would never directly answer me. I thought this would get better with the next guy but he was just the same- maybe worse. I have text/emails in which I asked a question about our countertops 3 separate times and he never responded. The logical next step would be to call and ask but I learned early on that IF YOU END UP WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY KEEP EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED via text and email for receipts. The new project manager wanted to do things his way, he didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say about what I wanted in my own home. I wanted to purchase only 1 slab of quartz countertops and I knew exactly what I wanted. He tells me over and over that it’s going to be a “two slab job” and it’s not going to work with just 1 slab. I ask for measurements and he sarcastically responds with, “are you going to install them yourself?” So I trust that he knows what he’s talking about and I purchase 2 slabs. Now we are left with basically an entire slab of countertop because he refused to listen to what I wanted.
    4. If you allow this company to work on your house, do your DUE DILIGENCE and comb through the paperwork because they will charge you for work they never did. They charge a cleaning fee of $406 and left my home a mess. At the end of it all, they ask you to sign a certification of Satisfaction which I did not sign. They didn’t care or ask why, they took their insurance check and basically ran out of the house. *I should note that in the last few weeks of working with them, after complaining to my insurance adjuster, I received a call from Peter from ACR- he asked me what all needed to be done at our house and documented everything. It was the first time I felt heard by anyone from the company. The owner emailed me and apologized. He did reimburse me for the damaged items. I wish this type of communication and assurance happened in the beginning.

*****UPDATED - The president of the company, Zach Brizzee, came by our home and listened to our frustrations and concerns. He made things right by having one of his employees fix a few issues that were left unresolved the first time around. I would recommend reaching out to him directly if you experience any issues.

I would highly recommend hiring ACR for their professionalism and ability to make your house look brand new. Roger was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. They listened to my concerns and fixed everything for a reasonable price and these guys are true professionals, not your local handyman. Go with a real company that knows how to do restoration and remodel. These guys are the real deal! Thank you Roger for your help and oversight of my project!

We worked with ACR on the construction and restoration of our home across multiple areas, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. From start to finish, Roger and the team handled everything with professionalism, grace, and clear communication.

As anyone who has gone through construction knows, there are always many moving parts — vendors, materials, and decisions that can shift timelines — but Roger made sure we were kept well-informed every step of the way. He was incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure things were done right.

Our situation was a bit unique, and Roger went above and beyond to help navigate it smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and truly appreciate the team’s dedication and craftsmanship. Highly recommend ACR and especially Roger for any restoration or construction project!
