Everyone was extremely friendly and communicated every step of the way with what they were going to do and then verifying that it was done. Stephen was great at organizing the pack-out as was Eddie when he came out to initially take a look at things. Peter was absolutely wonderful the whole time. He was always communicating with me and even did some shopping with me to pick up some supplies of my choice. The ladies in the office, Jen especially, were always very responsive and well-informed. I would definitely highly recommend them.

We had a interior bathroom house flood. After the dry out, done by Restoration 1 of East Surprise, Nick Burkhard and Matthew Romero of ACR came in and along with the insurance company successfully got our home back better than before. The crews were very respectful, quiet and efficient and always On Time. Project manager Matthew Romero was a delight to work with. Truly appreciated his help in finding a new vanity when the one we picked was delivered to them broken. He helped find the perfect one and all accessories needed, our bathroom took the biggest hit. His demeanor and care for the client is exceptional. We consider him a friend now. He represents ACR in a very good light.
Thank you all for your help. We highly recommend Arizona Construction and Restoration to anyone.

When it comes to service, integrity, and genuine care, Brandon Kowalski is a true role model. As a colleague in the same industry, I can honestly say that Brandon is extremely trustworthy, and he would definitely be my first call if I ever found myself in need.

My grandparents had a fire and they took care of the house and more importantly they took care of everything! They helped her get through the biggest tragedy of her life! Riley is amazing to work with! I would highly recommend Kowalski Construction to anyone who wants and needs their home redone. I can not thank you enough!

We had inquired about a service that we needed done promptly and Jacob responded immediately, this company went above and beyond in providing an immediate solution for us. Jacob and Blake made our lives so much easier and relieved much stress about the situation. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again in future emergencies.

Marvin S. was exceptional. Called Kowalski for water damage mitigation/restoration and Marvin came out the same morning to inspect. Super knowledgeable, professional and great listener. Provided thermal imaging and photos of all damage. Spent a ton of time with us. We are so grateful! If you need help, ask for Marvin.

Joel and his crew (Christian, Angel) are framing out a house on my street that had burned down. At the end of their long and hot work day, they saw me (I'm elderly and injured) attempting to get things into a dumpster in my drive. Christian and Angel walked down - again after their long, hot work day - and offered to help me. They wanted me out of the sun and they put all the things back into my garage or dumpster for me. Joel (their foreman) arrived to see what they were doing, and he arranged with the job super (Chelsey) to buy a lot of the vintage car resto equipment from me, and Christian bought some things as well. Professional and courteous crew and Joel and Chelsey are great dudes and it is evident when you meet all these guys. I worked all my life in construction and walk the walk, and I know a good crew when I meet one.

Four months of frustration. I hired Kowalski Construction for a small project of replacing wood laminate in one room, carpet in one room, and replace kick plates under kitchen appliances & cabinets. The home was vacant and empty so they had no furniture to move and they put their lockbox on the door to allow free access. I purchased the flooring at a local store and it was all in-stock so there was no delay due to ordering materials. The laminate was installed with gaps large enough to put my little finger in, so they had to come back twice after I threw a fit. Ron Petty was the Project Mgr. We walked the house together and he approved the work, even though I had previously sent him a photo of the gap. Replacing flooring in two rooms of a small townhouse should not have taken four months. Ron Petty never initiated a conversation with me to apprise me of the status of the job...I always had to contact him. He seemed very unaware of what was happening on this project. Finally, after four months, they finished and I approved the work. I waited over two weeks for an invoice and I finally sent Kowalski an email giving them a deadline to send me a final invoice. They are very happy to take a credit card as payment, but they'll charge you an additional 3% (not even the dollar store charges me a fee!) so I had to locate a paper check. Terrible company. Sloppy work. And slow as molasses. **UPDATE** Today is August 7th...a full 6 months since I posted a negative and Kowalski is just now getting around to responding. Like I said originally, they are slow as molasses. I would also like to address a couple of points you bring up. 1) I signed off on the project completion but never once told anyone I was 'happy' with the work or that anyone did a good job. 2) The flooring was purchased at a Phoenix Home Depot and was IN STOCK. The was no special ordering of any flooring. All your people had to do was pick it up. Additionally, there were no insurance delays...only Kowalski delays. And I wouldn't have had a punch list if the work had been done properly the first (or even the second) time. State Farm sent me the full payment approx 2 months before your people finally finished the job. All I wanted was to be done with you but I finally had to call your office and REQUEST a final invoice from you...couldn't even get you do do that in a timely fashion. Therefore, Mr K, I would recommend that you not respond to issues on which you are not fully informed. By the way, at this time you do not have a 5 star rating on either Google or Yelp. Pfft...uninformed AND slow

We had a house fire/lightning strike 19 months ago and still not close to completion. It has been one error after another, poor communication, and submitting sub par estimates. What they will say and do are completely different. They don't seem to care or speak knowledgeable about city codes and details of the job. I don't recommend or have confidence in this company. They seem overworked and not engaged in the project. You know it's a bad sign when after you sign a contract you are the one doing most of the follow up and feel like you work for the company. They actually sent the wrong house estimate to our insurance company. They aren't detailed oriented. They will blame the insurance company for not providing funds for damage and things not covered. They either have 1 star reviews or 5 star reviews. That's not a good sign. Don't do it!!!! We highly recommend a public adjuster and they are unable to effectively deal with the insurance company. I am writing this to save you a nightmare.

My experience with Kowalski Construction was very rocky. The project manager did not have experience in the managerial side and wrote a scope with a price and completion date that we both signed off on. I always included a delay penalty. The project to be completed in 15 days and had a dollar quote. This was in March, and in May I was still trying to get my project complete. The PM kept changing the quote (6 total), cancelling appointments, cancel city inspections, cancelling workers and was totally disorganized. The owners were made aware of this and chose to do nothing.
Overall the workers were very conscientious and courteous and did great work, it was just the disorganization of the PM that made it a painful experience.

Owners response said I changed the scope, Never! did I change the scope. I gave a scope on day one and the PM was the one who decided to do changes, 6 to be exact. He handed me a contract in March that will take 15 days and when I had to go home in April, it was no where near done, if this is what he is referring to. I did not make ONE change to the project. I asked that the PM be taken off the project when I saw how inept he was, but the manager told me he would guide him and that did not happen. Example, the water damage was on a 10 ft wall and no where near a corner, yet he said he needed to break down the wall in the library to fix the leak. I said no and when they tore down the wall in the bath, it was at least 3-4 ft away from the library wall. He was ready to tear down if I had not stopped him. The PM cancelled the workers for days at a time, he cancelled the city inspector making all of us sit and wait because he couldn't coordinate it with another project.
This is 100% Kowalski actions, they seemingly want to blame me. The less than full payment was the "delay penalty" I always build into my construction contracts. Then I was more than generous!

I finally found my "go to" company for things that deteriorate in my older home. It's difficult to find an honest, helpful company these days, but Kowalski Construction is all of this and more. Jason went out of his way to show me exactly what was going to be done and why. Ron was a friendly and skilled expert at fixing and repainting the damaged drywall. All at a fair and reasonable price. Thanks again for the great job you both did.

Liz Remley has been amazing to work with, from getting updates to meeting deadlines.

I cannot speak highly enough about this contracting firm. I had a water leak in my home which caused fairly significant damage to the walls and the flooring in my kitchen. Insurance delays caused the project to take longer than anticipated, but the Project Manager (Joe) stayed in close contact with me, keeping me informed of what was going on. Upon completion of the project, my house is in great shape, they were able to rebuild every aspect of the areas they demo'ed due to the leak. Highly recommend!

My son & I recently experienced a house fire & Kowalski Construction was involved with our rebuild from the very beginning. I dealt directly with several different people but no matter who I spoke with they were always able to answer my questions & their response time was impressive to say the least. I always felt like I was the only person they were dealing with & their astute attention to detail was remarkable. I would definitely recommend these guys for any job you may have, you will not be disappointed!

We had the roof of our building collapse, and Kowalski showed up with a slew of people to get the water out and get it dried up. I worked largely with Jason, Jeff and Tony at that company. They completed the job in a professional manner. I'd recommend working with them.

Excellent construction company! The team was professional, friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Jacob and Blake were able to get the services we required done quickly and efficiently. We will only be using them in the future for all of our construction and cleanup needs. Thank you, Kowalski team!

On a home we purchased that was a flip we discovered mold damage in both bathrooms. From the first point of contact with Trent, he quickly was available to assess the issue and present a plan of action to remove, and handle the hazard. Jacob and his team removed all the damaged drywall and ceiling of both bathrooms and then Jacob over saw the completion of remodel of the bathrooms. We had several hurdles throughout the process but Jacob was alway available and listened to any concerns of ours and helped to address them quickly and efficiently along with providing the best solution for the job. Trent and Jacob truly showed that Kowalski’s care about their Clients! I would definitely recommend them and personally use them again for any future needs!

I could not be more grateful to George for taking on the headache of communicating with insurance companies to get major repairs approved and completed at my property after a car went through the boiler room wall. All I did was make a phone call to Kowalski and gave George the info he needed to handle everything. He kept me updated throughout the process and when the work was completed you could not tell where the damage had happened on the 1986 stucco building. The paint even matched perfectly. I will definitely call Kowalski again for any construction or mitigation needs.
