So I have a newly constructed home that is two years old that just my wife and I live in. The grout had become dirty in the main traffic areas and kitchen. I called Aristone for a quote to clean and seal my grout. The technician came out and only went over the price and the square footage before he had me sign his electronic agreement. The technician it would take about 48 hours to dry so i could see the results. After 48 hours I noticed almost no difference in the grout I had cleaned for $910. I took pictures showing the grout in non traffic areas and texted them back to Aristone. I then spoke with one of the girls answering the phone who proceeded to tell me that once the grout gets dirty and stained, that because of it porous nature they could not get that clean. I explained my dissatisfaction with their service that I had just paid almost a thousand dollars for and asked why I was not told this upfront on what I should expect as far as my grout becoming clean again and the girl said, "we don't tell customers that because we don't want to scare customers off". She offered to have the technicians come out and try again which I agreed to. Still about the same color and far from the original color of my grout in the non traffic areas.

When I then sent a message back to Aristone about my dissatisfaction with my grout cleaning. Cody the owner then texted me back again explain the problems with grout being porous. He then pointed out I had signed the work authorization which explains grout staining and what to expect. He also said they sent this to me in an email. Well the technician did not go over that and like most people I did not read all the small print on the technicians phone. When it comes to the email they send you I had to look all the way down at the bottom to find a very small link to terms and conditions. When you click on that link you get a laundry list from this company to indemnify them against anything pretty much, concluding things like damaging your moldings or other wood in your house. No that didn't happen to me. I also see they have a nice clause to get them out of its clean or its free guarantee they have.

Now I didn't ask for my money back or anything but I thought I should post, even though I had to create a new email just to post this google review because I don't leave reviews. I also thought I would include their terms and conditions so any new customers would know what they are getting into.

Would I recommend them? NO! If they would have told me upfront what I could expect I would have never had the service performed. A Hard $1,000 lesson learned.

Some excerpts from their terms and conditions:

"Grout, due to its porous nature, may stain or discolor over time. AriStone Cleaning and Restoration will exercise reasonable care to achieve uniform coloration during the cleaning process, but makes no guarantee against minor staining or discoloration. The Client acknowledges that AriStone Cleaning & Restoration cannot be held liable for any staining or discoloration, particularly if the condition of the grout is unknown, including prior cleaning methods, sealing status, or the original condition of the grout."

Yes they make no guarantee against minor staining or discoloration of the grout. If they told me that upfront, like on the first phone call, that would be nice to know.

"6. The Most Thorough Cleaning Or It's Free Guarantee
AriStone Cleaning and Restoration offers a guarantee of the most thorough cleaning, or the cleaning service is free. For the purposes of this guarantee, "thorough cleaning" shall mean the removal of all dirt and debris from the surfaces being cleaned. This guarantee shall not apply to any staining, discoloration, improper care and maintenance, or damage arising from normal wear and tear".

Just be aware after you look at all the before and after pictures on their website, that it probably won't turn out like that.

Albert did such great work cleaning our travertine and Alex was an excellent advisor. Everyone was super friendly, our floors look amazing and the price was very very fair. Had a few other quotes come in and try to upsell things that weren't needed. Aristone was honest and work impeccable. Save your time and just call them first!

Just had my travertine floors refinished by Aristone. It lacked the super high shine but overall the floors look nice, super clean and has a lovely sheen. Price was reasonable, was quick & easy on booking. Albert the technician did a great job, he was pleasant and he worked really hard, I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again

Albert came on time and did a fantastic job! He definitely knew what he was doing and was nice enough to explain everything in detail. We love the results and the price was unbeatable! We will be using them in the future when we need grout/tile cleaned again. Before and after pictures below.

I had this work done a few days ago and they did a great job at cleaning the dirt/mold areas and the areas where there was a lot of soap build up. Definitely can't complain about that. The worker was also nice and patient with my kids that were around and very interested. They did say they would reseal the grout and fix that up like most other places when I was looking around. When the time came he did that to the best of his ability, but they didn't have any grout that matched and it's very obvious to me. I don't like the look of it and wish I had known ahead of time as I'll probably have to get that part redone. Definitely consider this part if you're booking them and the grout needs touching up! Otherwise, if you just need a solid clean, they did great!

These folks did a great job for a fair price. They quoted the job in a timely manner, scheduled the job within a few days and showed up on time. They were actually a little cheaper than the other quote I got. They did a very good job and our pavers look great. Our project had very irregular shapes and their measurements were very close to mine. No overselling or disputes on scope of work. I would not hesitate to use this company!

I came across AriStone on the internet and called Cody. My delima was that I cleaned and sealed my pavers years ago and completely messed it up. Years later, the high end sealer I used would not come off after pressure washing etc. It was disgusting.....see photos.
Cody explained his process and environmental safe chemical they use. In short, I accepted his very reasonable quote.
Alex and team came out today in this crazy heat and performed their "magic" and my paver brick patio is beyond amazing.
I'm shocked with the look of my patio. It looks better than new!

Cannot say enough good things about AriStone! We had them come clean/seal a good deal of travertine in my house that is basically DOA but I do not want to replace until my really old Labrador passes. They made it look like a new floor. Even the grout lines are clean! They arrived on time, super professional and took care of business immediately.
