This AC company is 100% Honest, Fair, Conscientious & very knowledgeable!!! All of the employees are very professional.. Phil & Ivan were very nice!!

Our service rep- Chris Reagan did a great job of cleaning up and repairing our AC unit after a rodent problem. Installed a rodent kit to keep it from happening again, checked the furnace unit and even changed out our filters. We were very happy with the service.

Phil was personable, informative, & knowledgeable! He answered my questions. He wore booties into the house & took the trash w him. 😉 I appreciated his tidiness.

We purchased a new HVAC system from ACA in 2023 and have been very satisfied with the Trane units as well as ACA"s annual maintenance program. Today, Phil, ACA's field expert, serviced our two units. We appreciated Phil's promptness, professionalism, knowledge about our system and thoroughness. We're now ready for the winter season.

We closed on our home and realized our AC unit was in desperate need of an upgrade. We contacted multiple businesses for bids and were very pleased with ACA’s bid and knowledge of what we planned for the home and its future. After speaking with the office several times it was apparent that the new AC unit could be installed at my convenience. Crews showed up on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. They made quick work of a clean install and did a fantastic job with explaining the new system. Highly recommend them for your AC needs!

I LOVE MY NEW TRANE!!!

When it came time to purchase a new HVAC system I allowed myself all of two days to interview different companies, listen to their sales expertise and product offerings. It was a tough decision because they all had similar backgrounds (recommended installers by Trane themselves), good BBB rankings, and great Google reviews. Each of the sales folks from the various companies all were very professional and seemed to have decent offerings. And then I met Mr. Troy 😀. He listened as I gave him the backstory of all that happened with failed Carrier system. What made Troy a standout was his engineering background and expertise. Coming from a science background myself I really appreciate good critical thinking skills and outside of the box thinking. Troy was the only one who identified the need to rebuild my base where the air handler sits. His measurements showed just how starved the system was for air. Rebuilding the base plus swapping out my older style return registers has made WORLDS of difference to interior noise and comfort. Previously the old system was so loud in second stage mode it would be too loud to hear the TV a normal volume (from the whooshing air sound). Now with the newer free breathing setup it is quiet as can be. I find that I also don't need to crank the unit down as much as I have in the past. The condensing unit is also much quieter than the 14 year old Carrier 5 ton 2 stage unit.

Phil and Corey the installers were serious troopers. They were chugging along at my house for 13 hours! They were real troopers busting their humps all day in the heat. They did several double checks to make sure the air measurements, noise, performance, and usabiltiy of the new Trane thermostat were all up to par. They were careful not to leave any mess behind.

The new unit is so quiet and comfortable and if you are on the fence about getting the Trane thermostat or not, DO IT. I have lived for years with various 4 way programmables and thought they were all I need. The Trane app on android is really slick. I love being able to quickly and accurately tweak my desired temp as needed. They also have someone come and do a quality check in a few weeks. Love that!

From the very beginning meeting with Troy (getting the estimate), peppering him with thousands of questions…just super impressed with ACA and their responsiveness. Scheduling installation was a breeze too.

Installation was pain free and easy and both installers (Corey and Phil) were courtesy, friendly and did a fantastic job…and left the job site spotless.

Buying a new HVAC is never fun, but working with ACA was a pain free and easy experience. Highly recommend working with them.

I want to share the great experience I had with Jacob and Bryan of Air Conditioning of Arizona. Jacob came to perform routine maintenance on my HVAC system. He was personable, knowledgeable and very professional. He made sure to clean up after himself, which really impressed me. The next day he came back with Bryan for another service I wanted done. They were both great and completed the job very quickly. Again, they made sure to clean up after themselves. They took the time to explain what they had done and to answer all of my questions. Disappointed!!! The contractor is a costly one for sure. In addition, the representative looked inexperienced or deceptive. The estimate given was to refill 3.5 pounds of r22 ( for about $375 per pound way higher than the product itself). However, when it was time to refill, the requirement shot up to about 8 pounds. Basically, saying I estimated for 3.5 pounds, have already filled ip 5 pounds and your system needs 8 pounds probably. So pay for the 8 pounds for me to continue or else pay for 5 pounds. Based on the “expert” advise i secured a budget but ended up paying 1.5 times that without resolving anything.
I am certain that this contractor cannot be trusted…

Bryan did a very thorough job of checking out my HVAC system. He was very polite and professional.

UPDATED: Jacob came today for a check up on my new unit. He was on time, courteous, careful with my floors and very nice to my dogs. I really appreciated the information he gave me and the peace of mind I have knowing the AC is at its best going into our great area on the summers. As always, I love this company! UPDATED: ACA has never let us down, and today was no different. Our air went out last night and I left a message. It’s 11:48 a.m. and it’s up and running for less than $300. On a 2007 unit! JA was a fabulous tech. On time, ridiculously polite, knowledgeable and fast. Left me with all kinds of information and tips. As long as I live in AZ I’ll need cold air and as long as I need cold air I’ll call ACA. UPDATE: Just had the 2007 unit replaced. Phil, Corey and Brian did a fabulous job. They had to retrofit my prehistoric system and fix all the crazy ductwork. Even installed a new register in a room that’s never hot or cold enough. They were super nice, efficient, CLEAN and my dogs loved them. Troy, never, ever sell this business please.

Update 3/3/25:
Our unit has been running beautifully without a single issue. We had ACA out today to do the first check up on the unit after our install last year. Jacob Ramirez was our field expert and he was great. Called me beforehand to let me know when he would arrive, arrived at the time he said he would, and was extremely friendly and professional. He did a complete inspection of the system and did so in a timely manner. Everything checked out as expected. Very happy with our unit and with our field expert, Jacob!

February 2024: We've been needing to get our 13 year old A/C unit replaced for the better part of a year but have been holding out due to the price and size of a job it is. We decided before summer hit this year, lets get it done. We called a total of three different highly rated A/C companies, ACA being one. Brent came out, did a good thorough inspection of our unit and the house and discussed what he found and what he recommended for us. He gave us 3 different quotes on 3 different levels of units. Surprisingly, the top tier Trane unit he recommended was still a lower price than the lowest level ones from their competitors. They also worked in a few discounts for me. What I really liked was that during the inspection Brent noticed that the return duct we had was a little smaller than what was required for a 5 ton unit. While the competitors pointed this out as well, Brent was the only one that recommended we just add an additional smaller duct to increase the CFM at a fraction of the price instead of replacing the entire duct and filter housing assembly. Additionally, ACA mentioned a few other "upgrades" we could do but they were not pushy at all when I decided to not go with them.

When it came to install day, the crew showed up right at 7 AM as scheduled. Phil and Corey were my installers and they were very professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and were very easy to talk to. What I really appreciated was that Brent, who is the expert that gave us our quote, actually came by for the majority of the morning to help the installers and give me updates throughout the install. Although he did not need to be there, he said he didn't have any appointments that morning and wanted to make sure he was here to ensure the install was smooth for myself and his guys. All in all the crew was here for about 9 hours and it all went very smooth. The used drop clothes so my carpet stayed clean and they did a great job vacuuming up any mess and the trim they removed to install through the attic looks like it was never removed.

Pulling the trigger on a new A/C unit can be very intimidating but the crew at ACA made the process as painless as possible. If you are looking for a company to take good care of you and not charge you an arm and a leg, I couldn't recommend ACA enough. Can't wait to break in this new Trane unit this summer!

Phil from Air Conditioning of Arizona did heating maintenance on my Trane XV18 heat pumps in Scottsdale, and the service was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough—explaining everything, sending progress videos, and including photos in the final report. Both systems were running perfectly when he finished.
