Mike is our “go-to” guy for every plumbing need we have! He is responsive, thorough, competitively priced, friendly and always keeps the work area clean! When he leaves, you cannot tell he was there! Highly recommend Mike and his team!

Our kitchen sink was clogged and nearly overflowing. When I made a request I got a phone call from Axel within 2 minutes and about an hour and an half later Manny showed up with his son to help.

Our problem ended up being more complicated than initially expected, and they didn’t have the needed equipment at the time so they ended up leaving to go get a 75 foot snake with a camera to find the clog.

I can’t recommend this team enough. The speed was great and the people were very personal.

I highly recommend Mike Gerstein and his company Drain Surgeon. As both homeowner and buyer ordering my own inspections, as well as a Realtor guiding client buyers, a comprehensive sewer scoping of the entire property is critical. Mike and his company have impressed me twice across two unrelated transactions (one for a client and one for me) in the past 6 months. Mike is very knowledgeable, hard-working, and keeps to is quotes. He will also beat any price in town. But it's hard to beat his and Drain Surgeon's thoroughness! If you're looking for cheaper inspections and cheaper repairs, you're looking to cut corners--not recommended when it comes to your sewer lines. But if you're looking for comprehensive, call Drain Surgeon.

They showed up earlier than scheduled, which was great and they got the job done efficiently and they also found another problem they solved as well. Mike came by after a full workday and reviewed our concerns about a water leak After looking around he decided it was probably caused by the sprinkler system which I already disconnected.

He went on to review the house and fully explained the water softener system.

He then tested the water hardness and reset the water softener.

At the end he decided everything was fine and didn't charge us anything.

Great service and very knowledgeable. I passed his contact info to the realtor who helped us buy the house.

Drain Surgeons did an amazing job! They first did a sewer line inspection - super professional, incredibly thorough, and insightful. They also did some work on a water heater issue I had. They were able to do it in a short amount of time and get it taken care of for me. Mike is super responsive and friendly - I’m really lucky to have been connected with him and Drain Surgeons. Will definitely use them again!

Horrible plumbing service, how many years of experience does it take before you get the hot and cold side correct? If you want something done right go somewhere else.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have used Big Jay prior and had a good experience. Knowing this I reached out for a plumbing issue I needed done (obviously).

I live in a gated community and was moving out so gate codes had been discontinued and so he had to wait at the gate for me. He did call and text but being we live in a spotty cell reception it took 2-3 minutes for me to actually receive the missed call/text notification. By that time (6 minutes) he had decided he waited long enough and left. Now that would seem logical except my contractor was also waiting and he had spoken with him and my contractor alerted him we were 2 mins away per a text we just sent. He told my contractor he was "out" and my contractor could not believe it- he tried to talk to him to stay and Jay literally smiled and left. Who does that?

Pretty much don't call Jay if you don't have perfect cell reception because he has absoltely no patience at all. I'd understand if it was 10-15 minutes he "waited" but nope and all while speaking to the contractor we were meeting as well. Like did he think he wouldn't mention it to us?

Cherry on top he also had a secondary phone number he had been communicating with my partner on as back as well. Didn't hear from him on that line if he was trying to get ahold of us he was lazy at doing so.

Do better business bud.

I was referred to this plumbing company by a local supply store here in Scottsdale. Tristan, the plumber, picked up my call right away. I explained my issue, and even though he couldn't guarantee same-day service, he promised to do what he could. To my surprise, just an hour later he called back to let me know he was heading over. Tristan got my drain cleared fast, using a plumbing snake, and finished in under 20 minutes. His price was the best I found around Scottsdale. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain that tree roots had gotten into my pipes. I would definitely recommend Tristan to anyone in need of great plumbing work done quickly and at a good price!
