If I could give this company a 0 I would! Don’t waste your money with this company their tech only comes out for 5 to 10 minutes at a time and he doesn’t even clean the pool properly. My pool is dirty and when we call to speak with the owner he has an attitude and he says that the pool should not have filter clean when he doesn’t even assess it. When I asked to speak with tech so I can explain what’s happening he said be on the look out for him. He said he could not give me a time range. He doesn’t take advice from homeowners who are the ones using the pool and seeing how dirty it is.

Steve came to do an estimate for $85 when he told me what was wrong with my system he put that $85 towards the repair and I was extremely grateful how quick, and the quality of work he did. Definitely will go to Steve for any type of issues or repairs I have on my pool.

I highly recommend Steve. I had a 17 year old 3 pump pool system that died. I am an engineer and came up with a two pump system design with one pump being a variable speed to save money. I contacted some of the big pool construction companies for quotes on how I wanted to redo the system. All their quotes and system designs did not take into account what I wanted. Steve reviewed what I wanted to do and made some great suggestions on the new design to accommodate 2 pumps instead of 3 and his price was very competitive, so I gave the green light Steve. Steve got the work done timely and actually quicker than I expected. Everything seemed to be running great until a programming error in the easytouch system. Called Steve and he was out the next day to check out the problem. He found out that the easytouch8 that was ordered had an easytouch4 computer board causing a minor problem. He had the board replaced in few days. Everything runs awesome now. Steve knows pools, how to fix them, does timely professional work and his customer service is top notch.

The crew at H2O Pools and Steve are the best! We had a pool pump break a seal and lost about half the water in the pool. Steve was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. He came out immediately and got me up and running in no time! He also helped me with some tips on maintenance to prevent further trouble.

Just moved the family to Arizona (Surprise) and bought a house with a pool. We had never had a pool before and after a couple weeks in the house I knew that something was wrong. So after looking online we came across H20 Pool Service. Steve was amazing and was able to get us in immediately (within 30 minutes). He came out and broke everything down for me and showed me pretty much how to do EVERYTHING! He diagnosed the problem solved what the issues were and was very knowledgeable. Once we get our feet under us we will definitely look at H20 conducting our weekly services.

We had a leak in the filter. Steve came out for $85 to check it out. Provided an estimate to repair the leak. We paid around 700 for the repair and filter cleaning. Prior to the repair, he took my visa info for the $85 service call. After he charged another 673 on my card, he informed me that he could not fix the leak. He now recommended that we change another part and hopefully, the leak will be fixed. The cost was another $350 to try this new part. What a scammer! Don’t ever give him your visa info and make sure he gets paid only when he is able to fix the issue.

Total rip off. Here's the pricing billed, Feb 110.00, March 110.00, April 277.00 (167 to clean filters!), May 136.00. June 156.00, July 177.00, Aug 177.00. This is for routine pool cleaning!!! No notice of changes no email no text since March when it was to go up 20. Then Steve has the nerve to blame me because I changed phone carries from Tmobile to Verizon. So what my phone number stayed the same and my email is the same. If you want to pay 177.00 for a 10 minute if at most cleaning of your pool then by all means this is your pool company. If you like your bill going up above and beyond inflation this is your company. If you want your bill to increase every month with no notice this is your company. If you want an owner who takes no responsibility for this and could care less this is your company.

I have been using h2o Pool Service for the past year, and had nothing but bad services from them. There has been other issues in the past but after some time things changed some. Its upsetting and just this Monday the pool tech was in and out of my property in about 5 minutes. Our pool was still dirty and not clean right like it should have been, and the walls and tile were not brushed. I contacted Steve the owner to let him know about the issue of what was going on with the service I was paying for, and right away he got really defensive and said that I can pay extra after 15 minutes of him doing the service. I explained to him that his tech was only on our property for about 5 minutes, and he argued that the gps showed that he was here for 15 minutes but the tech does hang out inside the truck outside my house. The owner Steve said he will get back to me but never did. I called him multiple times after and text him pictures of the pool the way the pool was left. I decided to cancel my service after all. Unfortunately using via text because he did not Respond to any of my calls. Terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend “h2o pools” to anyone. I have already told the persons I recommend at the beginning of my services to be on the lookout. They are very bad at customer service and the services are not good or done well like they say and announce.

H2O Pools is awesome, my pool is always nice and clean ready for me to jump in at any time.

Steve did a great job with our pool. We had drained the pool and were going to just refill it when we noticed it needed to be acid washed. Steve came out with in a couple of days and did the job. He was very professional on time and very knowledgeable!! I would highly recommend Steve and will absolutely use him in the future!!!

Lots of excuses when the company doesn’t provide adequate service. Techs changing timer on pool to run during peak hours and denied it. When finally admitting, didn’t do anything to make it right. Talks down about pool knowledge and seems to have a new tech training every single week. Puts parts in without talking to customers as well.

Communication and accountability are why this review is 1 star. If I could leave less than a star, I would.

Our experience with Steve was great. He was very prompt and very communicative. He showed up when he said he was going to and completed his work thoroughly and on time. He was also patient with all of our questions and never once pushed any services we didnt ask for. Services rendered included a drain and fill, acid wash, and a new salt water filtration installation. I would recommend him to friends.

Steve did a great job with our pool. We absolutely love it. It needed to be re-plastered, and we chose the sand colored mini pebble, which looks amazing. While the pool was empty, he also fixed the light, which hasn't worked since we've owned it. His price was well worth it. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be calling Steve for any additional repairs we need on our pool or the pump in the future.

My husband and I just built our own pool so we are pool owning newbies. We had H2O Pools come out to help us with the start up and I am so happy with the service. Steve and his crew from H2O Pool & Spa Care were GREAT! I purchased my current Glendale home less than a year ago... and with it, my first experience owning and maintaining a pool. In November my pool developed two major structural cracks. I called a pool repair company from an Internet listing. When I revealed that my pool was concrete, in-ground with a plaster finish, they told me that they only dealt with 'pebble-tech' finish. They said the only company I should call, to deal with my pool was H2O Pool & Spa Care. They were certainly right. Steve and his crew came and evaluated the pool within 24 hours of my call and worked my repairs into their schedule within a week. Steve explained the repair process clearly and gave me an estimate within 12 hours. The repairs were completed within a couple days and my pool and yard were left so neat and clean that I could have thrown a pool party as soon as the pool was filled. Steve has continued to follow up, checking for any signs that further repair might be necessary. Instead of wishing I'd never purchased a home with a pool, I am looking forward to the next pool season and will be arranging for Steve to replace my pool pump motor with a new variable speed, high efficiency, motor before that season is upon us. I will never call any other company for my future pool needs. H2O Pool & Spa Care and Steve and his crew are THE BEST!

The service guys are fast and efficient and always give us a heads up if there is anything that may need replacing and we even got a tip on how to save money by recommending the right pump. When we need repairs we trust that Steve is going to come through with a fair price and he always breaks down the cost so it’s easy to understand exactly what we are being charged for! He’s also quick in and out with good quality so I actually have time to enjoy the pool!

It takes multiple problems with a company for me to write a bad review. Once or twice is understandable and forgivable but at this point I want to protect potential customers.

Avoid H2O Pool Services

We paid for H2O Pool Services to acid wash our pool. The job got done and was overall good but there were numerous permanent splatter stains from the acid left on the deck and in the pool. First issue.

We also had to request a new cleaner after finding out our assigned cleaner wasn't emptying the cleaner baskets, skimming the pool, or even adding any chemicals. We have backyard cameras and he spent most his time sitting in the backyard on his phone vaping. Second issue.

I've been buying chlorine for the entire time we've been using this company only to find out that they've been charging us for it every week. So they essentially are charging us to use our own chemicals. Third and last issue.

I do want to say that they have always attempted to make things right and that's why we continued using the company (also why I'm not giving 1 star) but it's always issues that we had to bring to their attention. We're renting this house out now and simply can't trust H2O to do this job without regular supervision so we canceled their service today and signed up with a new company.
