Nathan's been doing a great job on our pool. Its monsoon season and there's stuff eeeeeverywhere. Its been clean after he's done with it and I appreciate it a lot. Also its great that he comes on Friday so we can enjoy a clean pool all weekend. I really like the before and after pictures of the pool and the weekly water report. Will continue using captain pools.

Tyson and the whole captain pools staff is amazing! Very prompt service, good prices and extremely knowledgeable. Tyson diagnosed the problem with my above ground hot tub that was leaking, replaced the broken parts (for a reasonable price) and kept sending me updates on his progress with the repair - which was amazing. Thanks again for the great work and I definitely recommend captain pools to all my friends/family and will use them again in the future!

If you want your pool pump broken def call them. They’ll come for a service estimate and leave your filter cap open so your filter breaks and send you an estimate of the whole system replacement while it is working fine. Glad I got to it and tightened the cap before serious damage.

This Team is phenomenal! They do a great job maintaining our pool and spa on a weekly basis. They always tell me if it needs repairs or seasonal maintenance. Their service costs are affordable and they will always get your permission before the repair is performed. I also like the digital invoices and ease of payment processing.

We had Jen from Captain Pools come out to service our pool for the first time today and I just wanted to compliment her on her high level of service and knowledge! We switched from another pool service company who was not maintaining our pool very well, we had stuck on debris at the bottom of the pool and broken equipment and our chemicals were all out of whack. Jen took the time to thouroughly clean the pool, checked and balanced all the chemicals. She even checked our timer and pump and put in a service request to our property manager to replace the faulty equipment. Jen went above and beyond to make sure we have a pool we can actually enjoy, I highly recommend!

After a few weeks... i am very glad we chose Captain Pools and have had the honor to work with Jacob! He does a great job making sure that not only is the pool clean and looking good but takes the time to educate me on how to maintain the pool for maximum longevity. All for a great price! We are lucky to have Jacob and Captain pools looking after our pool!

Pictures taken within day of services had to buy my own chemicals every week to add extra to the pool service I’m paying for rudest people and they don’t take accountability for mistakes have receipts of weekly extra expenses can post as well

These guys are AMAZING. My previous service left my pool swamp green. Lucas came in did a complete overhaul and turned back to sparkling blue. I'm a difficult customer I ask they text me before they arrive so I can secure my over excited dog, and every week without fail they do so. Captain Pools also some the best pricing I've seen. I'm paying half the price I was, and they're doing the better job. Austin who services my pool now is great! Excellent people skills, answers my questions without getting annoyed and is on time every week. They really do put they're customers first. I recommend them to anyone who wants their pool cleaned professionally!

I recently moved to Arizona and had no idea what do do with our pool. I reached out to Captain Pools & got a response in minutes. Lucas came out the next day and gave us a fair and thorough estimate. So very friendly and informative. He had us scheduled for weekly service right away, and the billing/online payment format is quick & easy.
We requested to have service on Fridays, a tech named Jason came out early and had the pool looking great by the time I was up making coffee!
They’re incredibly respectful and very thorough with their work, thank you guys!! We get an email update/status report after each service which is lovely.

I’ve had issues maintaining my pool for years. When we had an electrical issue with our pool pump we thought it was a great time to get our pool drained and cleaned. Captain pools reaches out on thumbtack. Lucas took care of the draining and cleaning. He also set me up with an electrician to fix the problem at a great price. He had my pool filters cleaned by Jason and now we have begun weekly service with them. Captain pools has been amazing in every way. I highly recommend to anyone who has any pool needs!!!

We were very happy with Captain Pools! We re-finished our Pebble Tec pool and spa. They were the first to arrive to provide a quote and were thorough and thoughtful throughout. We would recommend using Captain Pools for any service they offer. Prompt and professional. Their crews were on-site until the job was done. Not jumping around on jobs and leaving you in the lurch. They were flexible and worked with our landscape crew in order to keep the timeline intact. Very happy!

Captains Pool Service is probably the best company I have used. We currently have Michael cleaning our pool and he has the best work ethics! He really puts in the work and cleans it like it is supposed to be done. No slacking! He is as good as the actual owner Lucas. They are professional and very personable.

4.14.25 Update
After reviewing many posts from 2022 to now, it is clear that this company has suffered some decline in their work ethic. The responses from the owner shows the integrity and honesty of the company and those in command in my opinion. I actually had a separate inspector come out who confirmed in writing that the pool was not caused by external damage as the manager claimed in his rebuttal. I also had 2 separate Pool companies come out and provide a quote and inspection of the pool itself. All 3 have reported this was due to the initial pool build. Lucas from Captain Pools sent out his own worker who reported it was the pool deck causing the pebble tec to crack. If the pool deck was an issue, then as the pool expert, they should have discussed this with us at the initial build. I am not a pool expert and relied on their expertise which failed. According to their invoice receipts they simply stapled the problem areas in the concrete behind the pebble tec instead of properly securing the area as stated by another pool company. I now have 2 cracks in the pebble tec and have brought this to the attention of the Captain Pool since 2022. At that time, they claimed it was the tiles that needed to be replaced. We are now faced with having to do another complete remodel of the pool due to their lack of due diligence and inspection in my opinion. What should have cost us about $15k will not cost us double that because Captain Pools failed the first time. For those that have suffered the same or similar grievances from Captain Pools, it might be worth contacting the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to file a complaint.

UPDATE
The pool company came out to look at the crack which they said was superficial. Their offer was to patch up the crack at a cost of about $350. Given the quality of the work initially (and frustration that followed), current crack and the amount of money I’ve already paid them, I still would not recommend this company for a pool remodel. If you do, check their warranty offer just in case.

Do not use this company! We paid over $10k to remodel our pool. The person sent out did shady work and didn’t properly fix the issues. They sent another worker who verified that the initial person has messed up multiple peoples pools. They wanted us to pay more to fix cracks in the tiles which were not replaced. Had I known they would caused issues I would have replaced them. And now 3 years later, the pebble tec they installed is cracked.

Albert is our technician. He has serviced our pool three times and restarted our pool after we drained it last week. We are very impressed with Albert and Captain Pools. After 4 years living in Scottsdale we decided to find a new company to service our pool. A neighbor recommended Captain Pools. We are very impressed with the company’s communications and staff. Albert has been very helpful with keeping me up on what he is doing and has done for us. He did a great job of re-priming our pumps for the restart and helping me understand how everything with our pool works. We could not be happier with his timeliness, explanations and service. I highly recommend him and Captain Pools. If I had a pool service company I would want people like Albert staffing my company.

Captain Pools has been great for us. Aside from offering the lowest price for monthly maintenance, they provide before and after pictures of each visit in email. Andrew services our pool and he’s great! Friendly and attentive to details. We even had an issue with our pool vac-lock, and he was able to report it and get it fixed within a week!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for pool service.

Just bought a new house and pool pump and filter were old and needed to be replaced quickly as the pool was starting to turn green. Captain Pools was quick to send someone out to give me an estimate and get me scheduled the next week for installation. Rodney and Steve came to install the equipment and make sure everything was operating properly. Customer service was prompt and professional in making sure I was satisfied with everything. Pool is sparkling clean!

Worst experience ever!! Do not use!!! I was told my pool my cleaned and chemicals were put in on Friday the 2nd by the third was dirty by Sunday it was this!!! And when you call you just get attitude and and talking over you! Would you let you kid swim in that? Couldn’t even use over one of the last weekends of summer thanks

Steve came out to do a warranty diagnosis last Wednesday. He knows his craft and was fast and efficient in diagnosing the issue. Before leaving, he went above she beyond by treating the algae growing in our pool due to our broken pump. He wanted to make sure the pool didn’t get worse before he would make it back for the actual repair. Once the warranty repair was approved, Steve came back in a timely manner and completed the work. The repair was completed today, a new drive was installed and our pump is up and running! Once again he treated our pool before leaving. Steve is very efficient, friendly and goes above and beyond. He answered all my questions and diagnosed and solved our pump issue in a timely manner. I highly recommend Steve and Captain Pools for their excellent work!
